How SEOMOZ manage to have same pagerank on all pages?
-
I was just wondering how SEOMOZ manage to have same pagerank on all pages? Even on profile pages.
-
Good interlinking/ social/ content
-
Other then Rand and the SEOmoz team being SEO experts I would imagine it is because of the onpage SEO and how they flow the PR from other pages to well other pages.
SEOmoz is also an incredibly amazing resource so it makes sense that lots of websites link to a large percentage of the pages on SEOmoz.
Thanks

I meant page authority.
-
Do you mean that the Google Toolbar Pagerank is being reported the same whether it is the SEOmoz homepage or an individual profile page?
-
google page rank
-
Page rank? Or do you mean Page Authority (if you have the toolbar set up!)

Welcome Page - Forbes.com
Would love the group's opinion on the Forbes.com welcome page (http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml) redirects to the actual home page after 20 seconds. SEO implications for this tactic? Does it impact the home page rankings? (Positive/Negative) Any input is appreciated.

Duplication in landing page
This is driving me mad, I have a site that for some reason google and moz pick up the landing page as a duplicate. They see "mysite/" and "mysite/index.html" as two different pages and giving me warnings for duplication. I have no 301 included at this time and I am using foundation as the base. This is occurring both on a localhost test bed and live....... anyone got an idea how to correct.

Home page and category page target same keyword
Hi there, Several of our websites have a common problem - our main target keyword for the homepage is also the name of a product category we have within the website. There are seemingly two solutions to this problem, both of which not ideal: Do not target the keyword with the homepage. However, the homepage has the most authority and is our best shot at getting ranked for the main keyword. Reword and "de-optimise" the category page, so it doesn't target the keyword. This doesn't work well from UX point of view as the category needs to describe what it is and enable visitors to navigate to it. Anybody else gone through a similar conundrum? How did you end up going about it? Thanks Julian

Too many on page links
Hello, I have a page that isn't ranking very well. http://nicontrols.com/uk/drives-motors/variable-speed-drives According to the MOZ research tools I have too many on page links. I believe most of these are a result of the advanced filtration options on the left hand side of the page. I don't want to remove the filters as they are extremely useful for customers but I am also worried about the number of links Anyone get any ideas about the number of links? Should I care?

Should I autogenerate 25k pages?
My main product is database conversion software. As we support tons of databases, it's pretty easy to generate thousands of pages simply by creating a template and changing source/target database name, some information on how to connect etc. Of course, getting links to that many autogenerated pages is close to impossible. So, not wanting to endanger my main site (http://www.spectralcore.com) I created a separate site (minisite) for this product alone (http://www.fullconvert.com). In two months this new site is live, it got to the point of having over 1k visitors per month. That's for a site with no inbound links or history. Now, my question is - should I create equivalent thing on my main site, with different template to avoid duplicate content - and leverage history and authority - or Google can get me penalized for this practice. I don't think 25k generated pages are a bad thing, they simply provide for tons of highly targeted landing pages. Am I wrong?
