Multiple Links from One Site. Does it hurt Your SEO?

Multiple Links from One Site. Does it hurt Your SEO? I have multiple links coming from BlogTalkRadio I show I do 5 times week and my blog. Does it help or hurt your SEO when the a lot of links coming from one location.

Hi! This is probably best asked in its own thread, where a few more people will see it. Thanks!

Follow-up question.
About 10% of our links come from 2 sister sites, one a standalone blog and one an exact duplicate hosted on Blogger.
We sponsor these sites and they put a banner ad up on each page with a link back to our site (no anchor text).
We have received a "we still see links to your site that violate our quality guidelines" message from Google.
Any chance that these hundreds of links from the same two blogs are a culprit?

I have multiple links from content in the blog posts in SEOmoz to my model warship combat site, and it hasn't hurt me a bit. The latest link has helped my rankings. I also never turn down the link to my site when I do a liveblog over at Search Engine Roundtable. I wouldn't want them as my only links, that would look unnatural, but I'm happy to have more than one link from the same domain.

Nope! This is totally fine. Make sure though you don't load up too many links on a single page. If you do a show 5 times a week, getting a link per show would be best (2's fine as well), but if you're getting 3+ each show, there's a chance it won't send the best signals.

Hi Timothy,
To answer your question, I would say that as long as the site is relevant and not a link farm this wouldn't hurt your SEO. But it will not help it either because Google and other search engines won't give them the same value that it gives to different links from different site on different IP.
You should focus on gaining links from many different IP from site that are related to your content.

Does posting links in comments on Linkedin count as blackhat?
Hello, I noticed a competitor site has started writing a post on linkedin and then adding the link to the article they are referencing in the comments section. I started to dig into this and came up with this useful post https://growthrocks.com/blog/linkedin-abtest-link-in-comment/ to me that all screams black hat, spamming and scamming... What does the Moz Community think? Sincere thanks for feedback and I hope you're safe - wherever you are... Rhiannon

How to Push Free Offer for Links, Likes and Shares.
I have been working with a UK based printing company for a while now. We have had some good success, ranking well for most of our target phrases. One thing we do is to offer select Graphic Designers and Illustrators free business cards. Last year we approached a load of Designers and Illustrators (sourced via followerwonk) and printed cards for them, but we have run out of suitable candidates. One particular problem is that if the designers don’t need cards at that moment in time, the offer is forgotten about. Any Ideas how we can give the offer a lift? Let me know your thoughts. Justin

Facebook Blocking Site
This is been a big annoyance for me. My site was on wordpress before and was infected with malware at one point. We were blocked by major AV, Google, and etc but we got the infection cleaned up quickly and got unblocked. Problem now is that Facebook, we are still blocked on. We try to post a link and says we are harmful. We got unblocked from facebook and we posted but than they blocked us again. We have submitted multiple requests on that form but got no answer. As a marketing agency, having our facebook page blocked to our site is bad. What can we do in this situation? We have no direct contact with anyone at facebook nor do they reply to our requests. I do own a .net to my domain, should we start using that instead of .com or what? We really need to find a way out of this. It is hurting our reputation.

Can You Aggregate Likes from Pages on Your Site to Your Homepage?
I think the Facebook widget is great for social proof if you have a lot of people who like you. (the widget that shows faces of people who like you) Let's say that you create a resource that gets 100 likes. Do those "Likes" only count at the page level or can they be aggregated into a total "Likes" count that you can show on your home page and on the Facebook widget? Or are "Likes" in the Facebook widget only for people who like your Facebook page? (not those who "Like" your site).

Leverage other peoples author rank for your site?
Hi quick question, lets say you find writers in your niche and get them to do a guest post for your site and they have also built up alot of author rank (active google+ account, tones of social media followers). From my understanding you cannot leverage their author rank for your site since their google+ profile needs to be connected to your site? Unless it connected, you will not get any author rank benefit? Cheers, Mark

Google+ SEO value
Hello, We created a google+ page for our website and we would like to know what's best for SEO purposes. We've put +1 buttons on our website and when you use them it give a +1 to our website's url. Some other websites on the other hand make the button give a +1 to their website's page on Google + like this for instance: https://plus.google.com/u/0/113493854651753327245/posts So basically the number of +1s on the Google+ page increases. Which one is best to have my website rank higher for its keywords? Thanks for your help 🙂

SEO Moz Page authority and Domain authority do not correllate wih SERPS
I have checked the competitive landscape and the rankings with the keyword difficulty tool. E.g. for "Schuhe" - google.de - the rankings do not correlate with MOZ Page authority and Domain authority. What are the reasons for that and what are the important factors currently not reflected in SEO Moz Page and Domain authority?
