How can I find my past KW rankings?
-
I want to know how I can find out how a client's site was ranking for keywords at the beginning of the campaign so I can compare it with current rankings. I haven't been generating reports regularly. I kinda assumed I could ask for the reports retroactively. As in, what was the ranking of my keywords from the first crawl done by SEO moz.
Thanks!

Inside the ranking keywords list you should have a list of all your keywords. If you mouse over a specific keyword on the left listing a little clock icon and a little square graph icon should appear. If you click on the clock icon it should take you to a historic view of that keyword's performance. I have no idea if it backfills to the beginning of your campaign though (e.g. you added a keyword last week, it might not show anything before last week).
EDIT-Just tested and it doesn't backfill.

Magento webshop ranks bad on Category pages
Hi All! Our webshop is www.hond.nl. We operate it for about a year now and it is not ranking on our most important pages. Basically we have 3 types of pages: Category pages, Product pages and 'Splash' pages. The 2nd and the 3rd rank OK. But the 1st, the category pages not at all. While the category pages have the best (hand written, unique) and the most content. For example https://www.hond.nl/hondenvoer.html is not ranking on keyword 'hondenvoer' (position 140...) We have investigated quite thoroughly and did most common (moz) tests and can't find a reason why the category pages don't rank. (could it have something to do with the filters...?) If anybody can shed some light on it, we would be much obliged! Thanks, Sander

Rank tracking in Excel via MOZ API?
Hi there, i hope someone knows the solution to this problem. I created/ copied the "advanced Excel Keyword Analysis Report" that Dan Peskin was kind enough to share, you can find it here: http://moz.com/blog/how-to-build-an-advanced-keyword-analysis-report-in-excel. Now i m looking for a solution to rank my Keywords by using an API, preferably the MOZ API. My keywords are alligned in a column "Keword List", which will be regularly updated. Next to this column i would like to have a column with the corresponding rank. Is there a automatic solution, or do i have to do it manually?

Keyword ranking tool
Hello, What is best practice for knowing if a keyword is too difficult to try to rank for. i understand the keyword difficulty tool in seoMOZ, but am unsure of how it actually relates to if I should attempt to rank for the keyword. Is there a differential people use such as if a site has a Page Authority of 60 we will not try to rank for a keyword that has a keyword difficulty ranking of 40?

Can you freeze my account?
Hi there, I was wondering if there was a way for me to freeze my account, e.g. make it inactive for some time and then reactivate it later, and keep all of my old info and settings. It would really encourage me to use your services again after a break/vacation/budget cutbacks. best, Rosa
