i have a serious issue with my site. my website contains 21 pages. but during my weekly report, moz found 84 errors. i.e 42 errors in duplicate page content and 42 errors in duplicate page title... when i see the error in details.. all my 21 links are displaying twice. for examplehttp://domain.com/
http://domain.com/page1.html
http://domain.com/page2.html
and
http://www.domain.com/
http://www.domain.com/page1.html
http://www.domain.com/page2.htmlso, the same link is repeating twice with www and without www. how do i resolve this error? so please kindly anyone help me....

Hi Ravi
Basically, you want to instruct the web crawlers to visit only one version of the site. You can do this my adding the following code into your .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.your-domain.com$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.your-domain.com/$1 [R=301]Obviously replace "your-domain.com" with whatever your URL is.
That code will make sure you are redirected to the www. version of each page. I'd ensure that every on-page link on your website links with the www. version for consistency, in order to avoid unneccesary redirects.
Alternatively, if your site is running WordPress, installing the Yoast SEO Plugin will do this process for you automatically.
Hope this helps.

Duplicate Content & Rel Canonical Tag not working
I'm really questioning the legitimacy of the duplicate content flags with moz. I'm building a website that sells home decor products and a lot of the pages are similar in structure (As would be expected with a store that sells thousands of individual products). It seems a little overkill to me to flag the following pages as duplicate content. They have different urls, titles, h1, h2, and h3 tages, different meta tags, etc. Right now, it's saying that the following have duplicate page content: http://www.countryporchhomedecor.com

http://countryporchhomedecor.com/park-designs/rag-rugs/redmon-rag-rug-36x6 Any ideas? Also, it seems like it's not honoring the rel-canonical tag. It keeps saying that pages with a rel canonical tag are duplicates when some of the urls that it's flagging shouldn't even be indexed because of the canonical tag. Home Page Location Redirect
We have recently upgraded our Wordpress site to detect your local city and redirect to the proper location. Previously we had independent sites - for example, http://atlanta.styleblueprint.com is now http://styleblueprint.com/atlanta We've setup 301 redirects on all of the old site home pages. Now we have two issues: Moz will no longer crawl our domain. For two weeks now our campaign shows only four pages crawled None of our home pages show up in Google any longer for organic searches. We previously always ranked #1 for "styleblueprint" or "style blueprint" Does our new auto redirect mess things up? Or is this just a function of time until Google "learns" how to index our new site? All thoughts appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jay

False Pro reporting of duplicate titles
I am testing Pro. About 250 pages of content at my website. Pro says ALL of my pages have duplicate titles., but when I click on details, they display as unique titles. Ie: first page of results of Pro is as follows. While the content of my website is on one major topic the title meta tags are NOT identical. Is this an issue with Pro, or is Pro looking at something other than the title meta tags? Please advise ? Image Asset pages shown to have Page Authority
When looking at top pages for my site in www.opensiteexplorer.org I'm seeing a bunch of asset pages being listed to have page authority. How could this be? Is open site explorer mistaken? Domain.com and domain.com/index.html duplicate content in reports even with rewrite on
I have a site that was recently hit by the Google penguin update and dropped a page back. When running the site through seomoz tools, I keep getting duplicate content in the reports for domain.com and domain.com/index.html, even though I have a 301 rewrite condition. When I test the site, domain.com/index.html redirects to domain.com for all directories and root. I don't understand how my index page can still get flagged as duplicate content. I also have a redirect from domain.com to www.domain.com. Is there anything else I need to do or add to my htaccess file? Appreciate any clarification on this.

Duplicate page error from SEOmoz
SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnostics is complaining about a duplicate page error. I'm trying to use a rel=canonical but maybe I'm not doing it right. This page is the original, definitive version of the content: https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/sent-2011-10-01 This page is an alias that points to it (each month the alias is changed to point to the then current issue): https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/latest-issue The alias page above contains this tag (which is also updated each month when a new issue comes out) in the section: Is that not correct? Is the https (vs http) messing something up? Thanks!
