Any recommendation for UK based hosting company?

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a good hosting company for my site and clients sites. I need shared hosting not dedicated one.
I ve been using 1&1 , they are great but their server is in Germany. So I believe its not good for SEO. So I need a company whose server is in UK.

Heart Internet are decent, they offer shared or dedicated, reseller accounts etc.

I've got 3 websites there and the servers are incredibly fast, even on £5 per month hosting plans.

I use a small independent who owns his own servers. Service is brilliant - based in Cheltenham. Can send his details if you are interested. I switched from fasthosts and cheapnames.

What is the SEO term for Tree Search Engine results when we lookup for a company?
Hi Folks, I have a newbie question: When I do a Google search for: SEOmoz i get a SERP for SEOmoz in a form of a Tree, on the other hand if I search another company, let's say PAF.ca I get individual page results on google. Question is: What is the difference between the two, and how do we usually ask Google to display results of a Company name in the form of a tree or Main Category with Subpages in the SERP when looking for that company name. Setting up a Company Blog - Subdomain or new URL?
I've just got hold of a client without a blog (a blog is very marketable for their industry especially!). But run into the dilemma - Is it better to set up a new domain ("clientblog.com") with separate hosting or create a subdomain ("blog.clienturl.com")? Has anyone ever done a study on this and which is most beneficial? Most importantly has anyone had success with either? Thanks!

Do "big" SEO companies remove links after termination of service?
Or worded differently: Has anyone heard of "big" SEO companies removing links after termination of service? I have a client who isn't particularly happy with the SEO he's getting from a big Aussie SEO firm, and he wants to terminate, however they've built thousands of links for him and he's a little concerned they might all get pulled. Has anyone heard of this happening, or; Do you think this is a legitimate concern? I think its physically possible to remove backlinks like this because it seems the SEO firm in question is building links by using other client's websites. I also wonder if they might have large content farm style sites where they place links for clients which might be quite easy to take down. Please discuss!
