Why is my MOZ ranking better but my ranking worse
-
last week, I made all the recommended changes for my client's website, and our grade according to MOZ got better, but our rankings dropped?

Improving your MozRank is not a guarantee of improved rankings in the SERPs. While the MozRank is fairly indicative of PageRank, it is by no means the same, and something that affects MozRank may affect your Google rank differently. Also, changes to your site may not be initially recognized by Google as Chris said, whereas Moz can detect those changes immediately. Finally, if you make too significant of changes to your webpages, Google may recognize that as a sign that the site has changed (as opposed to slight content modification), and your rankings will be more easily affected.

Hey Denise, no doubt we all would like to see a week turnaround on our rankings updates in Google. Typically, though, we have to wait anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to start seeing the changes. Hang in there and keep working--you're sure to see them eventually.

Unsolved Why doesn't moz notify me of missing image alt tags
We had a client come to us and let us know another vendor had notified them that many of the images on their site are missing alt tags / text. I know this was a big deal back in the day, but I haven't heard much about it lately. I am assuming if it doesn't even show up in the Moz site crawl, it must not be a big deal any more, but I would love to have more info about how important image alt tags are and if they are important, why Moz does not report them.

All ranked pages on Googles SERP only links to home
I got a problem regarding my website called musik.dk, and hope you guys are able to help. I just got my first ranking results from Moz. My question is: All my keywords are linking to the home page, and not the artist page? For examples if I were to search on Rihanna on Google, then when musik.dk appears on the SERP, it only links to the home, and not musik.dk/rihanna.. This problem applies to all the given artists ranked on Googles SERP, it never shows the artist page itself, only links to home. Let me know if you need any information, and I gladly supply, this is kind of frustrating to me.. As a note: all pages besides the home has a PA of 1, and it doesn't really seem to change. Keyword Rankings Compare to X not working
Anyone else having trouble with the compare your keyword positions with competitors section of the analytics? The rankings for my site(s) are fine but whichever competitor I click on to compare rankings to just returns 'Not in Top 50' the competitor is ranking. I have just manually checked and they are very much listed in the engine. Is this tool broken?

Moz is officially demigod-approved!
So, I was reading Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth tonight, and found a description of a graffiti tag in the Labyrinth that says "MOZ RULZ". What do you think? Is one of the Mozzers a demigod who has explored and survived the Labyrinth? 🙂 (See attachment for book quote.) F1WmT5r

Has anyone noticed that there are no local results in their keyword rankings?
Is anyone else having this issue? The universal rankings are not populating in my keyword rankings tool for any of my clients. Is this something that SEOmoz changedrecently?

How can I change the day my keyword rankings are updated?
I have several campaigns which currently get their weekly keyword ranking reports updated on different days. I'd like all of them updated on the same day, so I can just check in one a week for everything.

Rankings csv export doesn't show local rank
Is there a way to enable this in the settings somewhere? or is this simply not an available feature yet? Would be really great if there was an extra column in the report that shows local rank, as 93 of our top 100 keywords we track are all blended search results and a lot of the time this shows really inaccurate results because of this.
