Auto-submission Software

Does anybody use it? If so, which?

Hiya Patrick,
Whilst it might seem tempting to create 10,000 back links a day ( more back links means better SERPS right ? - Nope ) this will not help you rank up in fact it will do the opposite and is more likely to have you removed from Google's results all together.
A long time ago you could get away with loads and loads of links however times have changed a lot so maybe you saw that it was a good idea - it is no longer so. The best way to get on-top of search results is to create good content and good content means good links. All though this take more time it will give you far better results.
You can find many good tips & tricks around here as to how to create good content that may get you good links. Please don't use an automated submitter (as seen by the horror above!)
Good luck!

I am amazed that this is actually being considered.
this way is dead. this way does not work. this way will get the opposite results.
sit read the great info here about inbound marketing and remember there are no short cuts just hard work

Do not do this to your website or your clients! Just Don't! You will ruin their sites!
-
No. No, NO, no, no, no, no, NOOOOOO, No, no!
Unless you want to get penalised, then, yes!

If you're referring to submitting links to directories via auto submission.
That is a very bad idea. You do not want a software program deciding rather not your website is going into what could possibly be a very bad directory or website creating a bad link pointing to your website.
To answer your question for myself no I would never use an automatic link submitter. I believe you will hear the same thing for many people here.
I hope this helps,
Thomas

Best Software To Alert On Incoming Links?
Hi Guys, I've got most of the software I need for general link analysis, Moz/Majestic etc. But what I am lacking is software that would give me an update when one of my websites receives an incoming link? That is if there is such software available. All suggestions and help appreciated. Sam

Article submissions for link building- what sites do you still use?
Hey Everyone, Long-time SEO'er first time poster here. I've been doing SEO for around 5 years but since starting my company The Search Ninjas last year I've been so bogged down with client work that I feel like I'm starting to fall behind on what's still effective from a link building perspective since all of my clients are local businesses and since we've been focusing so much attention on Google Places. My question is- are there any general article sites that you still use for SEO since the Panda update last year (that you firmly believe still offer "juice"), or do you mainly focus on niche sites and guest-blogging? I'm looking for ideas regarding how to find content submission opportunities for clients for link building purposes. I'm familiar with Ontolo and the Whitespark Link Prospecting Tool in terms of ways to find opportunities (and of course cherrypicking competitors' links using OSE and SEOSpyglass), any other recommendations? Best, George ps clients are in legal niche for the most part if that helps you out, but this is mainly me looking for everyone's general opinion.

Directory submission after Google panda update
I am very much concerned about directory submission after Google panda update. I have few questions in this regard 1- Should I submit the home page URL or deep links in directories? What is better practice? 2- Can I submit more than one link in one directory? What are the consequences of submitting both (home page and deep link) in same directory? 3- Should I start directory submission aggressively or I need to take care about the quantity? Regards

Multiple submissions to article directories
Hello, I would like to ask if I can submit the same article to multiple article directories. I have read that while only the first published article will gain credit and show on search engines, but the all the links generated from the publishing the article at different sites will still tally up and count as separate backlinks to my website. Is this true, or is 1 or a few links going to be counted from the 1 article?
