YouTube Listing Videos That We Didn't Upload
-
Our Company has recently started doing videos on installation and product features. As we were going through our Google YouTube Analytic, we noticed there are random letters and numbers that are coming up as a video (example:YsQgAQPykMI), although it is not a link.
_Where we are finding this information: Google YouTube Analytic under the Comment section. The bottom section will list the videos that the channel has uploaded and its respective link. _
1. What and why is YouTube pulling this information?
2. How can I remove this from our listing?
3. What are future measures we can take to prevent this from happening again?
Unfortunately, I'm not able to upload an image to show you exactly what the issue is.
Thanks for your help,
Tamara

You're most welcome!

Phil,
After much research, it appears that these are videos that have been deleted. I'm not sure if they can be deleted off our records but will follow up with the YouTube support group for a final answer.
Thank you for taking the time to review our issue.

Hi Tamara,
Admittedly, I have not seen this before - but It seems to me that the numerical strings probably correspond to videos that don't have Titles - potentially either videos that have been deleted - or perhaps videos that just haven't had titles specified when being uploaded.
In short, it's a slight error in YouTube analytics, but the cause isn't entirely clear. As the URLs that the video codes should respond to bring up a 404 error, I'd suggest that perhaps these were old videos that have been deleted, though that it only a guess.
How can you remove it? To be honest, I'm not sure. I suggest you speak to YouTube support.

Hi Chris,
I attached an image of what we are seeing. Did you get a chance to look at it?

Little confused as the problem are you trying to work out the end of a URL e.g. youtube.com/YsQgAQPykMI
The end (YsQgAQPykMI) is just pointing towards your video. If you can link to your video it would be helpful as I can't understand what the problem is, sorry.
Did you take a look through the Youtube help page ?

Google+ and youTube
Hi everyone, Question regarding Google+ and youTube - 2 things I'm not massively au fait with these days. We have a number of branches all of whom have a Google+ account (with GoogleMyBusiness).
Social Media | | LoonyToons
All of these branches will soon be setup with a Communications Manager login only (for GoogleMyBusiness) as we need to restrict them from changing branch details. The powers that be in my company, have decided that we need to have 2 youtube channels for each branch.
One for news and the other for advertising properties. Having researched this, we understand that if we setup a new youTube channel, that will create another Google+ page - which we don't want, and could cause no end of trouble with duplicate Google+ pages. We are obviously going to try and persuade management to use only one youTube channel per branch, but in the event of being overridden does anyone have any advice on how to achieve 1 Google+ page with 2 youTube channels?1 -
Company FB Page Automatically Friend-Requesting Admins' Contacts
Hola, So today we added 3 or 4 admins to our company FB page. Our company FB consists of a 'profile' and that 'profile' has create a FB 'page' for the business. All of a sudden, the profile (not the company 'page') started to get a new friends. We thought this was weird as we weren't using this for promotion, we were using the company FB page. Anyway, when we dug a little deeper, we found the profile had automatically sent friend requests to all of the admins' contacts (around 2,000 people!). When we checked the friend request page, we realised we can't cancel all the requests, they have to be done individually! Why would FB do this? It might not be so bad if it was actually inviting the admins' contacts to 'like' the business page, but it's just adding them to the main profile's friend list. The only solution we can find is to deactivate/delete the profile and keep the company page with all the admin attached. Any ideas on this one? It's very weird and now it just looks like our fleldgling business is spamming people! Cheers, Lewis

Videos perform poorly on facebook...why?
I have a facebook page with 42,000 Real fans. Images, screenshots, links, questions, etc all perform well. But videos get 0 interaction. If I get 5 likes that is saying something. Why would facebook not send out my videos to people? Is there a way to increase them? It is very frustrating to post our youtube videos to get no response. My fans are most 13-30 yr old gamers, so videos should be right up their alley.

Facebook 'SEO', Likes and Fans
I spent a bit of time this morning combing Google looking for some documentation on SEO for Facebook, specifically the value of 'likes', when liking one's status, how that effects the visibility of a given post and basically the criteria for creating whatever they deem a post to have gone 'viral'. I'm convinced there has to be some answers for my first two questions... ....somewhere. Likewise, I can appreciate if there's nothing available to answer my third question pertaining to 'viral criteria'. Nevertheless, if anyone has any resources/documentation that could provide me some insight into how FB interprets 'likes', how an increased number of 'likes' may lead to greater visibility and (more or less) the mechanics of how this interacts with the entire Facebook structure, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading, I look forward to the responses!

Google+ Is this listing Claimed or Not?
I'm working on a dentist website. I logged in using their gmail account. I then searched for the practice name with the city and state then found their listing. I clicked on the link that has the Google reviews and it brought me to their Google+ page. If I click on Manage this page, it takes me to my client Google places dashboard page where I can edit some information.... even though I am having a hard time uploading images. Getting a "Cannot upload images at this time" Error The weird thing is that if I hit the browser back button and then Manage this page again, it takes me to the page where I can claim the business. I click on the blue link that says "If you own this place, claim it and edit it directly", I get a message that says "You may only access listings that you own. If you created this listing with a different Google Account, please log into that account and try again. If you've deleted this listing, you may create it again in Google Places Any clues on what is going on? Please see images attached. iyonJ.jpg Zqe7K.jpg

How do I find out the total number of Google +1's my website has?
I can't for the life of me figure how to see the total number of Google +1's my site has. Yes, I've tried Webmaster Tools, but it only shows +1's from the past 30 days. All days prior to that are grayed out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

How much weight do Twitter Lists carry in Google's determination of user influence?
I have come across a number of Twitter users that have 1000+ Followers, and they typically follow 1000+ people. I've noticed as of late that many of these people are found on fewer lists. I also know that many twitter users are selective about who they actually allow in their main twitter stream and therefore create lists to manage who they follow. Any thoughts on if /how twitter lists contribute to a user's authority and/or influence from the SERP's perspective?
