Google Webmaster Sitemap *pending*

Hey guys,
I've noticed that my sitemap has been "pending" for quite some time in Google Webmaster tools. This leads me to believe that Google is not indexing my site. Could someone help me and point me to what I'm doing wrong?
My site is The Tech Block

It's your index file, I would suggest you leave it as is. Nothing to worry. You are good.

Should I delete that last one that is pending since all the files inside are duplicates?

It's just your sitemap index file which is showing pending. All it needs to do is addup the values of your other sitemaps (which are referenced in the index file) and show the total stats next to it.
Other then that, you are good. No need to worry.

So I submitted the links individually, and they seem to be working, but if you look at the last original.

How long has it been pending ? Can you post a screenshot of what exactly it says / looks ?

Internal Links issue in webmaster
we implemented our website on the basis of WordPress, then we migrate our website to PHP (YII Framework). after a while, we found out an issue around internal links which they were increasing severely. when we check our landing pages in webmaster (for example Price list), in contains 300 internal links but the reality is that there are no href tags on this page. it seems that webmaster calculate most of our links with the links of a single page and show them to us. is it natural or a mis configuration has been happened? Sitelink demotion not working after submitting in Google webmaster tool
Hello Friends, I have a question regarding demotion of sitelinks in Google webmaster tool. Scenario: I have demoted one of the sitelink for my website two months back; still the demoted sitelink has not been removed from the Google search results.May I know any reason, why this page is not getting removed even after demoting from GWT? If we resubmit the same link in demotion tool one more time, will it work? Can anybody help me out with this? Note: Since the validly of demotion exists only for 3 months (90 days), I am concerned about the same.

Access denied in google webmaster tools
Hi I have just checked on my google webmaster tools and it is showing i 11 urls that are coming back as access denied. Now the urls are working, and they have been redirected using 301 redirect, so i have done everything right but for some reason google is not able to crawl them. Google is changing the title
Hi! Lately i have seen that Google changed the page titles for some clients, not all... its about 30% of them. For example, the title looks likes this after the Google change: Company name: SEO and Pay per click management But in on that page it looks like this: SEO and Pay per click management - Company name Does anyone know why?

Is the number at the top of google wrong
If I search a term, any term, Google states at the top 922,000 results (as an example). However, if you click the "O" in google at the bottom you can get the 2nd and 3rd and 4th page of results. Those numbers don't match. The result of my searches would show anywhere from 120-140 results, but the number at the top is in the tens of thousands if not millions. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't these numbers be the same?

Does anyone have a recommendation for the best xml sitemap plugin for wordpress sites or do you steer clear of plugins and use a sitemap generator then load it up to the root manually?
