$360 charged to embed 2 youtube video clips on web page with CMS system - Realistic?

Hi All,
I have just had a bill from our webmaster / SEO provider for 3 hours work to embed two youtube video clips on to one page of our site (http://www.compoundsecurity.co.uk/raidervision-visual-verification-module-use-rdas-and-vx-gprs-wireless-security-systems)
Now i am not an HTML programmer, but i have the ability to insert HTML code in to our eBay pages to embed videos where i want them on a page and it takes less than a minute.
Would love to get feedback from several people on how long this should have taken. Is it really anywhere near 3 hours work. Everything else on the page was already there.
If it means anything, the site is done in Apach

Should have taken 30 mins tops and that's really too much time.
So thats $62.50, and if they must charge you an hour minimum its $125 MAX
At those rates they are claiming Almost 3 hrs work.

How much do they charge per hour?
If they change only by the hour and not by the minute and this is an hourly charge then their terms do not suit your needs.
However if this is more than one hours work, then you must question the competence of their staff. Just because they are bad at their job does not mean you should have to suffer the costs.
Either way it is outrageous. I am sure you will find someone great here to be your new go to person.

You know what I'd be tempted to so? Use a screencasting program to capture yourself adding 2 more videos to the page. Ideally, include an onscreen clock on the page to track exactly how long it took and show it to him.
Alternately, ask him to provide an example of the steps it took that required 3 hours to perform. Three hours is simply INSANE.

Yup - afraid you've been taken advantage of (or the developer somehow invoiced the wrong project?) Embedding YouTube videos is essentially just like adding photos. A few minutes copy-paste at most.

No more than 15-30 minutes, no extra divs or anything have been added so its just been added to the product description.
Literally a copy and paste, if you are looking for a new developer i'm happy to cost up any past changes you've had for comparison.

Should I deindex my pages?
I recently changed the URLs on a website to make them tidier and easier to follow. I put 301s in place to direct all the previous page names to the new ones. However, I didn't read moz's guide which says I should leave the old sitemap online for a few weeks afterwards. As I result, webmaster tools is showing duplicate page titles (which means duplicate pages) for the old versions of the pages I have renamed. Since the old versions are no longer on the sitemap, google can no longer access them to find the 301s I have put in place. Is this a problem that will fix itself over time or is there a way to quicken up the process? I could use webmaster tools to remove these old urls, but I'm not sure if this is recommended. Alternatively, I could try and recreate the old sitemap, but this would take a lot of time.

Can you noindex a page, but still index an image on that page?
If a blog is centered around visual images, and we have specific pages with high quality content that we plan to index and drive our traffic, but we have many pages with our images...what is the best way to go about getting these images indexed? We want to noindex all the pages with just images because they are thin content... Can you noindex,follow a page, but still index the images on that page? Can up a page
I do my best to optimize the on-page parameters for my page www.lkeria.com/AADL-logement-Algerie.php for the kw "aadl" but i can't understand what Ii'm doing wrong (i desapear 2 mounths ago). The page is optimize (title, description, h1, h2 etc.) few links with different ancers, but google put a spamy site www[dot]aadl[dot]biz in top 3 ratheer my page. WP image pages
I used Dreamweaver for years but have recently been switching to Wordpress. On the whole the results have been very positive. However, I don't like the way that WP generates a page for images when the image is inserted into a blog post. I was just reading this http://www.eyeflow.com/content-strength-audit/ excellent article on Content Strength Audit and it referred to this problem as well. Often, when I insert an image into a blog, I delete the reference to the image page and link directly to the image. Is this an effective way to deal with the is problem? Is there a better approach? Getting a citation page indexed
Howdy mozzers, I have a citation on a .govt domain with 2 links pointing to my site. The page is not indexed by Google, bing or yahoo. URL; http://www.familyservices.govt.nz/directory/viewprovider.htm?id=17077 I have tried getting the paged indexed by building bookmark links to it. I have tweeted the url and gotten a few re-tweets for it. But no luck. The page has got no nofollow meta tag. Other listings have been indexed by google. Could someone please advise on means to help me get the page indexed? A strategy that I have not yet tried is submitting a sitemap that includes the external url as I am not sure if it is possible to include url's not part of my domain. Duplicate Page Content and Title for product pages. Is there a way to fix it?
We we're doing pretty good with our SEO, until we added product listing pages. The errors are mostly Duplicate Page Content/Title. e.g. Title: Masterpet | New Zealand Products MasterPet Product page1 MasterPet Product page2 Because the list of products are displayed on several pages, the crawler detects that these two URLs have the same title. From 0 Errors two weeks ago, to 14k+ errors. Is this something we could fix or bother fixing? Will our SERP ranking suffer because of this? Hoping someone could shed some light on this issue. Thanks.
