Duplicate page titles
-
Hi -- A crawl tells me I have 200 duplicate page titles. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell me what those pages are duplicating. What do I do with this information? How do I begin to respond? Thanks
-
Hi Karl -
On your report you'll see "Duplicate Title Tags", click on it.
Following that, you'll see all the pages under "Pages with duplicate title tags". Now clicking on each of the link, will drop down the pages that have the duplicate titles.
Now visit each one of those links on your site and correct it.
Regards,
Kiruba

Hey Karl,
Once you know what page titles are duplicates you will then need to go into each page and rename them so they no longer come up in the reports as duplicate titles.

Also, at the bottom of the page "Crawl Diagnosis" there is a button "Download CSV" - in that file there is the complete crawl report. Download it and use filtering in Excel or Google Docs and you will be able to identify all the issues on your website.

If you scroll down on the page that says "duplicate page titles" you get a full list of all the pages that are duplicated. It shows each page URL, and the duplicate page URL. You can go through manually and match them up to see what's going on.

Cant figture out why On-Page Grader is not recognizing the heading tag text
Hi all, I'm using the On-Page Grader tool to optimize some of our pages: https://analytics.moz.com/pro/research/page-grader?keyword=Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.russianlawyers.us%2Fus%2Fcalifornia%2Fsacramento-immigration One of the suggestions is "Optimal Use of Keywords in Header Tags". They keyword is "Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento" and we do have it in an tag on the page (located in the right sidebar). The tool doesnt seem to catch that though. Can someone help me please? Thanks

I go back to the home page of the optimization section to see it's ranking and all the details are dashes. Like the moz score, the ranking, and the title. It has only been happening recently. What am I doing wrong?

"Sorry! We weren't able to find that page when we crawled your site." Please help!
Can someone please explain whey I am getting this error for this link "http://lensoutloud.com/san-antonio-real-estate-photography/" when I attempt to perform an on page SEO grading? The link is indexed and ranking very well but for some reason Moz says it can't find the page when it crawled my site. This has also happened when I attempt to grade other pages on my site. Thanks in advance!

Can Moz use canconical links to prevent notices about duplicate content issues?
if so how do we enable this - we've an average size site with a few hundred products but they appear in multiple categories, canonical url points to it's primary category (but a new page exists for each section... so for /cat-a/abc there will be another page cat-b/abc and again but the canonical points to cat-a always for that product) basically I see this kind of duplication error / notice as a false positive... help me
