I have a very strong affiliate network.

Currently all my affiliate links go to a subdomain with a 301 redirect to my site.

I have somewhat of a linking profile besides affiliates, but it is not as strong as the affiliate site.

Are my affiliates enhancing my linking profile and helping me?

Or

Does it look to Google like I am benefiting from "paid links" and they would prefer I add NOFOLLOW or a 302 to my affiliate links?

Is it stil up to date and good practice to create a site for each affiliate and then use rel canonical to pass the link juice to the main content page?

Can somebody give some more resources how to turn affiliate links to seo frendly links?

Google isn't recognizing links to my site. help

I recently changed my domain name and i see on moz that NOTHING is linking to my current domain (even though I have changed all of my links to go to my current domain name). My domain authority remains higher with my old domain name. I do have my old domain linking to my current site. Should I worry about this? How can i get google to recognize the link changes?

Setting up a Affiliate Linking Program

Hello all, I work for a travel booking agency that specialises in coach and minibus hire. I am currently thinking about creating a Affiliate Linking Program to create some links for the business. So this could be a suppliers page (similar to a directory page) with details of related companies to ours. We can link to there site and they can link to ours - its win-win situation for both parties. Is there a difference between a Affiliate Program for links and a business directory on your site? Has anyone done something similar to this before? What are peoples thoughts? Thanks for your help in advance - Aqib

External Ranking Help

Hello, I am working on the following website: completesteamclean.ca and I have reached a plateau on how to increase my ranking to defeat my two top competitors. When I run competitive link metrics it would appear that where I seem to be lacking is in external links and linking root domains. I need help: Website has dropped and I dont know how to bring it back

Hi All, So my website has dropped now to page 12, I have no idea why, I've tried myself to bring it back and I have also tried a few £1000 at outsourcing the SEO which has had no affect. There are no penalties in webmaster tools but I personally think something the algo doesn't like is holding it back - I could be wrong. I think this because some of the results higher than me are a lot worse, hold little to no content and there backlink profiles have no links, some are even 1 page new domains that have been live for as little as a month ranking a lot higher than me. At one point I was ranking page1, position4 for the term 'bank holidays' and now I don't rank anywhere. What's weird is if you search 'bankholidays' as one word I appear in that position. If possible, please help me analyse my backlink profile

Ok i have been reading and reading on seo, and been using ahrefs tool to really understand the problem my site is having. if possible some help would be great please so some of the issues and questions. My website is ppp.net.nz and i have been using ahrefs to analyse. 1 - for both backlinks and domains, there has been a significant loss. what does this mean. are they the bad ones, temporary ones? shoudl i be glad im loosing stuff since they might be the ones i dont want? over the last few days it has been leveling out so is that a good sign? 2 - looking at achors text, the majority is for hawkes bay weddig photography. i know this is not right and i need to work on this to make more anchor text about ppp.net.nz, picture perfect photography, etc. is that right? 3- staying with anchor text, i noticed i have lots of anchor texts with terms that are not completely related to mine. this is very worrying. does that mean other people are linking to my site, or has someone hacked into my account, or someone is doing this to hurt my profile? my website is a WP site. i assume it is imperative that i remove all these bad backlinks, even though they are smaller amount. but then they do add up to quite a big chunk. 4- staying with point 3, i checked the backlinks and i do get around 6-10 a days with weird text. i assume backlinks mean links to are going to places and linking back to me? but can this also mean other people just linking to me directly? if so, can this be done via the comments in Wordpress? 5- i have asked people to do SEO for me before, and being ignorant back then, i was happy to see lots of backlinks but i understand now they would hurt me. Now for me to remove them, i know i have to contact the webmasters. But can I contact the person that I hired and get them to remove from our end, instead of from the webmasters' end? Thank you for your help. i try to read and analyse as much as i can. and im glad i found these problems. However, some sound advice would be great please as I honestly dont know how to trust SEO companies. Binh

Linkbuilding - Suspicious? Seems like they still help!

I know we should be careful of suspicious links, and that google may davalue them or even penalize, especiallysince the latest update. It seems though, however it really hasnt caught up to alot of them yet. And alot of competition is still benefitting from what seems like all garbage links in their backlink profile So could someone give their opinion about links form pages like this, assuming it is a mix of this along with other "better" types of links? http://www.bmxplusmag.com/index.php/member/4817/ See the bio at the bottom. "At least" it is within copy, and only one link to the page? (Please do not reply with a simple "be careful" message) Also, does anyone have any update, on the benefit of TextLinkAds, since the recent algo update? Thanks Sam
