Error for a page that doesn't exist.
-
Hi,
I'm just trailing this service, and I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help with.
1. I am getting a high priority error regarding a page not being able to be crawled - a 4XX error. Problem is, there is no such page in existence. The URL is my site/comments/feed It's driving me crazy.
2. I'm also getting errors based on missing meta tags in blog posts. I am adding tags at the time of posting, so I am unsure why these errors are showing up. Actually, I didn't add tags to all posts - but there are errors on ALL posts, even those I added tags to.
Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!!!
Hugh

By the way Hugh, if you think the broken link reported by Moz isn't actually there, then you can contact them about a possible glitch here: help@moz.com

Hmm, weird. The broken link is showing up as the important issue. Oh well.
Thanks for the awesome support. I'll keep playing with this.

Your "blog" pages are in fact missing a description. For example: http://photographerinc.com/david/ has no description tag. It has the og:description, but that's not the same.
I wasn't able to find a broken link tho.
-
Sure, it's www.photographerinc.com

Do you mind sharing your Website's address?

Hi,
thanks for the fast response.
Following the error link take me nowhere - if I click the link I get an error saying it doesn't exist. Screen grab below. So, it reports an error, then tells me it doesn't exist. Seems weird.
On the point of the meta stuff, they aren't new. The were entered at the time of the blog postings, but the report says they don't exist.
Hard for my brain to wrap around.

Hi!
The 1st error is given when you are linking somewhere in your site to a 4XX page. Try following the links in hat error report to see which page is linking to that 4XX. Once you find it, simply remove the link or fix it.
The 2nd, if you are just adding the missing tags, it would take at least a week to reflect in the crawl stats in Moz as Mozbot scrapes your site one a week.
Hope that clears it up

I keep getting a 429 Too Many Request error for a wp-login page on my website. Is there a way to prevent that from happening, or fix outside of redirecting on the back end of WordPress?
I have a client that keeps coming up with 429 Too Many Request critical crawl errors. I re-directed some of them on the back end of WordPress, but additional keep coming in. The URL has a WP-Login and directs to back end login section. Is there a reason that would come up as an error, how can I prevent it from happening again, and how can I fix the remaining current errors outside of redirecting back to /? Thanks, Kalyn Lengieza

Error Code 803: Incomplete HTTP Response Received
On 5 pages on our site we've got an Error Code 803: Incomplete HTTP Response Received. We checked the network interface within the browser inspector, which did not return any errors, this would mean than there were no issues with retrieving resources from the server. In the console log there are no errors also. We also inspected the URL bar settings and can see each page is loaded under a secure connection with no errors. When using http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php there was a "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" issue. A little in the dark on what to do next. Any help would be amazing!

Why RogerBot can't crawl site https://unplag.com
Hello Please help me to solve the problem. The on-page grader and Crawl Test are not working for Unplag.com website. Both said that they can't access the url. Yes, I've tried different variants like unplag.com, http://unplag.com One more thing - RogerBot was disallowed in robots.txt file. I deleted it from the file a week ago so maybe moz index haven't been renewed.

The Moz Spam Score tells me my site has too few backlinks for such a large site. How many links per page would I need to not trigger this filter and stop appearing spammy?
Hello! One of my sites is triggering the 'too few backlinks for large site' filter. I am wondering how many backlinks I need so as not to trigger this. Many thanks for your help. Toby

My product pages have no weight / links from root domains with the Moz tool bar
Hi, When I view my home page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk) with the Moz toolbar, I see a good PA and a good amount of links from root domains. As I go down the site, it seems to get worse. The category pages (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Straight_Foods.html) have a little but not much and then from this point onwards, it's nothing. The product page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) is reporting to have no root domain links but I am not sure why. Interestingly, when I click through to a review page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/StockReview/0/SUNH/0/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) it does have some juice. Would anyone be able help on why this is happening and what I need to be looking at in order to resolve it please? EDIT: I've been looking at the hyperlinks and notice something odd. If I review the score with the first link below, it gives a score of 1, but the second gives a PA of 13 with one root domain linked. 1:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html 2:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods%7ESunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html Please note the "%7E" instead of the "~" in the URL. The browser appears to show the ~ character no matter what but the rank of the page changes. I don't understand what the Moz toolbar is doing with this. Note: This behaviour only happens in Mozilla Firefox, in chrome both the rankings are zero for each URL. Many Thanks.

Comparing details of current on-page grade reports with previous reports
Hi Whilst i've set up reporting for on-page grader when it comes through on report it just shows any changes in grade and rank, what i also want to look at is changes in the detail/components of current report compared to previous reports, is this possible historically (over the previous reporting periods) ? There doesn't seem to be any kind of archive that i can find to previously carried out on-page grade report ? Cheers Dan

"Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization" - can't find the problem
Hi, I understand what this means (or at least I think I do!), but I can't find where the problem lies. The keyword is "fire warden training" and the url is http://www.tutis-fire.co.uk/fire-warden-training-courses/ If anyone could lend a helping hand, I'd appreciate it.
