What is the process of link earning to avoid link building?
-
Hi All,
I want process to earning links for new SEO 2014. Can anybody explain?
Thanks,
Akhilesh

Thanks Keri and sorry for not getting back sooner Akhilesh. Keri is right that I am in the UK.
As Keri has said, you really need to read the section on link building and content - If you get this wrong, you can cause yourself some big problems.
Have a read of this so that you are sure what you need to be doing... http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo/growing-popularity-and-links

I suggest reading the Beginner's Guide to SEO, especially the sections on content and links, and also our blog's link building section.
-
Thanks Keri,
Means now a days link building is only posting blog content in website then share with social profiles with putting links OR any other way for link building.
Can you clear me if something i am missing.
Really will be very Gratefully to me.
-
Content sharing does not mean reposting another site's blog on your blog. See my earlier response for examples of sharing content.
-
My mean can we share other Blog content in our blog ? This is called content sharing?
If we will share then Google can penalised if we put source?
If website is not under DMCA then we can do?
Thanks,
Akhilesh
-
What do you mean by share other blog content?
If you mean repost the content on your site, you need to look at the original site for their policies on copying the content, and to see if it is copyright. Many blogs do have their content copyright, and may file a DMCA notice if you republish their posts without permission.
-
Thanks KeriMorgret,
I am agree with you. we can share any other blog content to our blog section to mention source url where we found and put no follow tag?
Thanks,
Akhilesh
-
Sharing an article is not the same as republishing an article. You can go on Facebook or Twitter and say "Wow, this is a great post about xyz" and put a link to the post. Or you can say how you really disagree about the post, write your own post, link back to the original post.
For shareable content, we're also talking about things like my mother writing about her cross-country travels on her blog, and including links to sites that talk in-depth about a place that she visited. She's sharing the links and the content (by sharing the link) with her readers because that site goes into much more detail than she could about a particular place.

Hi KeriMorgret,
Thanks for update.I agree with you.
If moz staff can provide us my question answer will be good.
My question is:
Suppose i read one article than how can share because Google don't allow to publish content for other website. I think this will be duplicate to us.
How can share other content in our website and same for other how can share our content on his website?

Hello Akhilesh,
I just wanted to leave a quick note that Andy is another Moz user like you, and not an employee or contractor with Moz. He's volunteering his time to give you answers, and appears to be on a different continent (and time zone) from you.
In a couple of other questions, people have suggested that you read the Beginner's Guide to SEO. Have you had a chance to do this yet? There's a section on link building at http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo/growing-popularity-and-links that you may find helpful.
-
Andy please give your input on above. I am still waiting.
Thanks,
Akhilesh

Thank you very much Andy.
My last question is suppose i read one article than how can share to create link earning because Google don't allow to publish content for other website.
So question is how can share other content in our website and same for other how can share our content on his website?
Thanks,
Akhilesh

You can and should link to your own internal content using strong anchor text as this helps Google to crawl their way around. However, don't make it spammy - be descriptive and imagine you were a user reading the anchor text, would it describe the page that it leads to?
-Andy
-
Thanks again Andy,
If we did create one internal WordPress Blog in any website and posting regularly in internal blog then can we put link on any keywords for our internal blog content?
Thanks,
Akhilesh
-
- The rule for anchor text is to make it descriptive if it is an internal page on your own site, but when trying for a link from an external site, keep the link as natural as possible. This means your link should either be your brand, like iNet SEO, your URL like www.inetseo.co.uk or something neutral like Click Here. If you try for descriptive money-heavy keywords, you are likely to be cause yourself problems down the line.
- Google are always tweaking their algorithms, and eventually many sites will get hit for not taking care of their link profile. Stay current with what Google want now and ensure more longevity.
- As with all external sites, it is all about sharing good information and using plenty of caution. For social media sharing, that's what it is there for - get busy sharing and trying to get others to share your information too. Local business websites are OK, as long as they are one of the reputable. The likes of Yelp, Yell, etc., tend to be OK, but don't go for anything that looks like it could cause you harm.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your valuable answer.
All points are good but i want to ask below questions.
1.Can we put keywords anchor link in Blog content?
2.Competitor doing most of the Old link building but he is on top. I don't why?
3.Can we should do local business website like yelp, Hotfrog and social website like Digg, Delicious etc. -
Hi Akhilesh,
What you want to be doing is looking at Linkable Assets - these can be images, graphics, tools, research studies, articles, and indeed anything else that would be considered link-worthy. They are a reason someone will want to link through to your website. This sometimes means getting creative with your thinking.
- What does your site offer and is it different / better than other competitors?
- Where are your competitors getting their links from?
- Do you write blog posts?
- Are you active on Social Media?
- What makes you stand out - if nothing, then create something that does.
It can take a bit of work to get there, but once you have some ideas under your belt and you get into the flow, you will want to get sharing this and perhaps even look at doing some outreach to other sites who would be interested in mentioning you.

Hi Mate,
Its very hard to any website user will share our content or link.
User enter in to website and after gathering information or fill request form return in to SERP.
Can you give me any website example?
Thanks,
Akhilesh
-
Hi Akhilesh,
In theory it sounds simple - you create great content on your site so your visitors will naturally share and link to it. However, that's easier said than done.
Cheers.

Build Links with Bloggers
Hi! A few days ago, someone asked about how to ask links from bloggers and we got good answers, specially from Egol. But, I do want to add to that question: after conducting research on each blogger and make sure they have good quality content, how would you factor in their page rank, visitors, page view and social media info? if they don't have much traffic, with PR3 (we are PR4), which means we can't count on too much traffic from them, but, will backlink from such places deemed as quality link by Google? I do understand the higher number in PR and traffic is better, but, in our case, they don't come by often. Is it still worthwhile to do the lower sites?

Link Building Strategy Advice
Hi, I was wondering what everyone's general strategy is for link building. We're doing it all ourselves manually (i.e. not paying $5 for 100,000 links) and are using the Site Explorer tool to find links to competitors and related websites. The majority of sites are blogs and directories which ask for payment ($50 per month for example). We're obviously looking for free links as well but we're finding that pretty much every site wants something in return (cash or reciprocal link) - unless the content is amazing, why would anyone link to another site without an incentive? We're focussing heavily on content and writing articles, blogs, press releases every week but the subject matter isn't always exciting enough for someone to really want to link to it naturally. Thoughts?

Primary link building for new clients, where do you go first?
When starting out with a new client, where do you look first to build links for that client? I have a lot of close friends who have small businesses with not a very huge budget for SEO and I'm trying to wrap my head around how to do a significant amount of quality link building without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? My list so far is: Friends / Family of the client.

Free (good quality) directories - Yellow pages, etc.
Content creation / Article publishing
Paid directories (BBB, etc) What i am wondering though is if anyone out there has some suggestions as to how to do some quality link building for a small client with a limited budget (lets say, $500).0 -
