Social Media Marketing
-
Hello People,
I hope everyone is well, this is bugging me because I cannot figure it out, my old website which I still have up ranks on page 2 or 3 for the keywords "social media marketing edinburgh" but when I check the URL's in particular the SMM page: http://www.fentonit.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3 and I know the URL's a mess but we have resolved all these issues with the new co. setup.
Anyway the On page optimization for this page is an F for this phrase, yet it ranks highly, I am greatly puzzled as to why.
Can some one please help shed some light on this?
Thanks to everyones who may kindly take the time to assist here.
Craig

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your input, it is on page 2 sometimes 3.

Moz's tools can give a page any score, but it doesn't mean Google will rank it in a lower place than it deserves. If your page has an 'F', maybe all the other pages on that SERP do.
Your page may have good link authority or a good balance of anchor text links which could assist its ranking. Have you considered linking factors?
The report which gave you your score for the page should outline changes you can make in order to comply with SEO best practice.
Final thing - I'm in the UK but couldn't see you on page one for "social media marketing edinburgh" (logged-out, incognito-mode chrome session with personalised search off, location set to Edinburgh).
Thanks,
Rob

Viral Marketing SEO Question: If you build a truly great piece of content, what are the best ways to seed it?
There are a few techniques you can use to spread out and get your content out there.
Moz Pro | | shoobi
1. Email bloggers and tell them about your content
2. Share it on bookmarking sites (like Reddit)
3. Contact influential Twitter and Facebook profiles about it
4. Make it easy for visitors to share your infographic with an embed code at the bottom
5. Share it on infographic websites (like https://www.prizebondtime.com)
6. Share it with your email subscribers (if you have an email subscriber list)
7. Post it on your blog, Facebook page, Twitter, etc. Basically everywhere. The name of the game here is to get your content out in front of as many eyeballs you can as possible. Then after that, it's up to how good your content is to begin the viral loop.0 -

Since my Google+ account is attached to my business page, MOZ is tracking the actual user page. I want to track the business page. It won't let me add another user. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Social Media Monitoring not working
Hi there, Anyone having problems with the Blogscape Social Media Monitoring tool or is it just me?
Moz Pro | | lenineto
I've tried it in 3 different browsers (Safari, Firefox and Chrome) but all show the same thing: a white rectangle (where I supposed it would be a graph). If I type anything on the box at the top and hit enter, the text box gets emptied. Typing something and then changing the time (from 2 weeks to 1 month, for example), produces no result. The "Social Media Monitoring" tool in research tools
I used this tool once and noticed it provided nice links to where listed keywords were posted in articles, forums, blogs, etc..., since that time @3 weeks ago... it lists an "error" to links and/or doesn't provide them in a linkable list below to access. Is this tool being worked on or will it be available in the future? Thank you.
