Why do some Keywords collapse in SERPS?

I've been working my way up SERPS with some fairly uncompetitive keywords and have been comfortable with them in the 5-10 range. This week I have watch a number of them drop back to the mid 50s.

Why?

HI, Are you talking about the local serps? It might have been the new algorithm change that was recently updated. I have notice some updates as well.

My site takes a lot of time to index On SERP

Hello great Moz contributors, I'm working on a 4-months-old site https://www.voxlyrics.com/, which I didn't see improvement after the Google December core update. What I'm facing right now is that my newly published posts take a lot of time to index on Google search results and it affecting my performance. While my competitor's sites index in less than a minute. I could've used the Google index tool which they removed a few months ago assumed they bring the feature back. Meanwhile, my site passed web.dev test perfect what happens very rarely. Is there any other thing needed to be done so that my posts will be indexing in less than a minute? Any help will be appreciated!

Confusion on keyword cannibalization ?

Hi I know that targeting more than one keyword per page in a website leads to keyword cannibalization. But for example, if I am into a "CRM" business, I write blogs on CRM every day with various topics like: 1. How can a CRM help your small business? 2. Steps to follow in buying a CRM. 3. How to does CRM help in your customer relationship. It means that I am concentrating the keyword "CRM" in multiple blogs. What should I do in this case? Thanks in advance.

Optimizing images on website. Is it bad to use the same alt names and keywords?

I have a webpage that I have 6 separate images showing step by step instructions of how to use our product with a sentence describing instruction inside image. I took screenshots of the instructions from the products App and uploaded them to webpage because they provide a great visual. I want to make sure I optimize correctly, can I use the same keywords for all the image names?

Subdomain SERPS are different from the root domain SERPS

I am fairly new to SEO so bare with me. I created two campaigns within Moz, one tracking the sudomain www.mysite.com and another tracking just the root domain mysite.com. When I look at the keyword rankings I get different results from Google, Bing and Yahoo. For instance, the root domain shows rankings in Bing and Yahoo, but "Not in top 50" for Google. For my subdomain, it is reversed. I see rankings for Google, but "not in top 50' for Bing and Yahoo. What can I do to solve this issue? I am using canonical tags, but it is a domain redirect issue? Keyword usage in eCommerce Sites - Danger of keyword stuffing?

Hi all, I'm having a little difficulty deciding the best approach for selecting my product titles as I've encountered a few issues. I understand how important it is to try and use the keyword in your product titles, but about the category page that lists all of these products? One of category pages, for example, has 16 products on it. Each has the product title followed by the keyword. I have also used the keyword in the category title, URL, breadcrumbs and two or 3 times (because it was natural) in a paragraph that describes the category etc. Due to the little amount of text on the page, and the sheer amount of times that the keyword is being used, it looks like I am keyword stuffing (By Moz On Page Report Card). I think it came to 23 uses of the same keyword altogether. This is the pretty much teh same throughout every category page on my site, and think I was penalised by Google for this reason. I'm a relatively new site and have done everything by the book as far as I know, so everything is pointing at this to be the cause of the drop/disappearance in ranking. How do I rectify this problem? It's important for the products to have the keyword in, right? As this is one of the SEO practices that is given more weight when considering rankings. I have thought a potential way around this, which is to split the keyword between an exact match, and a variant of the keyword in the titles - only very slightly though. So my product titles would look like 'Product A Exact Match Keyword', 'Product B Variant on Keyword' etc. Could this work? Can anybody advise on the best thing I could try? How do I get other pages to show in SERPs

Why is it that when you google a domain like yahoo.com you sometimes get a main SERP and 6 sub SERPs below it. This concerns the 1st position.

Optimizing for another keyword than the menu name

Hi I would like to hear if someone could help me decide whether or not it is important regarding SEO that the menu name is the same as the keyword we want to rank for. The site is a static site and one of our most important keywords. To give an example. Our menu name is "cars" and we want to rank for "cheap rental cars".
