I have a new website and would like to use the keywords my competitors are using and was wondering the best way to take a look using Moz Pro?
-
The website is www.fapwrap.com - it's a new adult wall decals website. [editor's note: may not be safe for some workplaces]
The wall decals we have are obviously a bit more niche than the bigger competitors, but I want to get into the first page to see how it helps us.
I'm slowly taking over some kws like "xbox wraps" and "ps4 wraps" but those have low search volume and I feel like "wall decals" will help - though it's highly competitive.
Suggestions?
I just kinda want to plug in my competition and pick from their list of existing kws..... Ha.

Cool JohnnyRoc,
Don't trim unnecessarily. Consider canonical tagging content groupings rather than deleting pages. It's a practice used, for example, when you're trying to rank for "patriotic tshirts" that come in multiple sizes.

Awesome! I appreciate it.
I'm brand new to MOZ Q&A, so apologies on late response.
I have the entire SEO Powersuite from Link-Assistant and I'm trying to harness it all.
I really want to know what my competitors keyword for so that it simply gives me suggestions.
Right now, I'm actually moving up the charts super fast for a good chunk of our keywords, but I need to find variations and.... well, reverse engineer their success.
For instance, I don't know that I'll ever hit page 1 for "wall decal" or "wall decals" but I sure hope I can build relevance.
I'm also about to trim my site a bit because its a store and I don't want repeat content due to similar product.

Johnnyroc,
Take a look at the answer to the question asked immediately after yours - "is there a tool that I can use to scrape and see [competitor's] meta tags". The answers provided will also help you learn more about what your competitors are doing.
-
You can also run each of your competitors in Screaming Frog and get ideas of their keyword focus based on their meta data.
-
I'm not aware of a way to do that using the Moz toolset. Try SEMRush. You can plug in the URL of your competitors and see their top keywords.

Spam score very high but it's not clear in MOZ, it looks like a bucle
Hey there, I've a problem with this domain www.cornerjob.com In OSE just saw a spam score very high and so, I tried to see backlinks' profile in order to find suspicious backlinks. But in OSE there's a bucle, I mean: I know my domain has a high spam score but I cannot see any bad backlinks, actually the only one I see it's the same www.cornerjob.com...for that, It's a bucle. I tried to use other tools but I wasn't able to see backlinks, actually we don't have many. What Should I do in order to fix it? What does spam score mean? Thanks in advance Francesca

Moz Trust
I saw a severe drop in MozTrust for multiple sites I am working on. We have added some links this month, but would be considered 'spammy' or to be low quality. No other links appear to have been lost / removed. If we had some very high quality links before and have added some mid-level links can this be what is causing the drop? From the description on SEOmoz, it seemed to me that trust could only go up as links were added. It appears that I am missing something.

Strange Website Activity
Hello, I have been building websites for about 4 months now and finally had my first real success with a website. I found a niche that I was able to get on the first page with. This site was fine and then boom it dropped to #17 around the time of the recent Google changes. So I just thought it was that, I decided to add it as a campaign on here. This is when I noticed that the pages were not being crawled. So being new at all of this, I researched that. Of course, the main things were is the privacy and robots.txt. It is running on wordpress and I know not to set the blog to private, but I wasn't familiar with how to edit the robots.txt. I found a good plugin that easily allowed me to set the text to allow all bots. It seemed to be set to the normal wordpress settings before, and I never had a problem with any of my websites not being crawled. Anyway, once I just set it to allow all bots on ALL of my website, the pages started being crawled again. My traffic went back up and I was on the first page all day yesterday. Today, so far big drop off. So, I deleted the campaign and set up a new one. Sure enough no pages crawled yet. I made some security changes using Bulletproof Security and another plugin to see if that effects it. Nothing yet. I am just really confused as to what is going on, so if any of you have any ideas that would be great. It is a simple site, and I made some changes like theme when I was trying to figure out why the pages weren't being crawled. So it is not the most beautiful design right now. Also, I try my best to put up well-written useful content, so I don't think that is the issue for the rankings drops. I don't have many if any actual backlinks yet because of the newness of my site, could be the reason for it acting strange BUT none of that explains the pages not being crawled at the same time my site drops????? Sorry so long but had to explain it all! Thanks in advance to anyone who has anything to say about this situation! Edit: I should clarify, I put the the security plugins on yesterday while I was on the first page and have deleted them to see if that allows the pages to be crawled. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Moz Toolbar Analyzer - Links
On the moz toolbar there is an Analyze tool. The third tab is for viewing Page Attributes. That page contains a section called On Page Links. I can see the External Link count, but I need to drill down further to look at these external links. I have viewed a page and don't see the external links this tool is seeing. I have searched the page, the source code, and used other tools on the page. The numbers don't match up. Is there a tool which lists all the external links on a given page?
