My landing pages don't show up in the SERPs, only my frontpage does.

I am having some trouble with getting the landing pages for a clients website to show up in the SERPs.
As far as I can see, the pages are optimized well, and they also get indexed by Google.The website is a danish webshop that sells wine, www.vindanmark.com
Take for an instance this landing page, http://www.vindanmark.com/vinhandel/
It is optimzied for the keywords "Vinhandel Århus". Vinhandel means "Winestore" and "Århus" is a danish city.As you can see, I manage to get them at page 1 (#10), but it's the frontpage that ranks for the keyword. And this goes for alle the other landing pages as well.
But I can't figure out, why the frontpage keep outranking the landingpages on every keyword.
What am I doing wrong here? -
I will check all the landing pages for this, and see if it helps.

No, so far there is very little backlinks to my deep-content pages, so I will definitely have to work a little more on this. Thanks for your feedback

Its a common problem, just check this items:
- You are linking to the landing page from homepage with anchor text?
- you have exact landing page keywords in your homepage title and metas?
- your homepage shouldn't optimize for the landing page keywords
- start building links to landing page to show to Google the right page to rank

This seems to be very common... home pages should outrank deeper pages, yes?. Are there any external backlinks (from relevant, authoritative sites) to your deep-content landing pages? Perhaps all your credibility resides on your home page. Have you done any off-page SEO for the landing pages?

Crawler doesn't discover the links in the main nav
Hi Moz Community, We have a headless ecom (Magento) client that I'm trying to crawl the site. During the crawl, the tool (Screaming Frog) cannot discover the sub-category URLs in the main navigation when I start crawling via homepage. Similarly, when I start crawling with one of the sub-category page, it doesn't crawl any of the product URLs on the sub-category page itself. When I inspect product and sub-cat URLs through Search Console, they seem as indexed and if I view how Googlebot rendered the sub-category page, I can see the product URLs on the sub-cat page too. If you have any idea what's the issue with Screaming Frog and would like to help me out, I'd be so grateful! Thanks in advance

Strange: page no longer present in SERPS and I'm not sure why
I indexed a new page last week and it ranked 1st The page is still live, still registering sessions in analytics, registering activity in search console Why is it no longer present for the keyword in ranked first for on Friday?

Why isn't Google caching our pages?
Hi everyone, We have a new content marketing site that allows anyone to publish checklists. Each checklist is being indexed by Google, but Google is not storing a cached version of any of our checklists. Here's an example:

Is it possible to rank in google mexico when you don't have a local site?
Hello, someone is asking me why we don't rank in google mexico search engine. I mentioned we don't have a google mexico site, but have a USA site, so we may rank, but not as well as if we had the mexico site. IS there anyway to improve rankings or tips? THanks! Laura Robinson

Shouldn't Lower Bounce Rate Correlate into Greater Click Thru Rate for a Web Site?
Greetings: I run a real estate web site in New York City with about 650 pages out of which 330 are property listing pages. About 250 of those listing pages contain less than 150 words of content. In late August I set about 250 of the listing pages that generated the least traffic (generally corresponding to those with the least content) to "no-index, follow". Now Google has removed those pages from their index. The overall bounce rate for the site has been reduced from about 69% to about 64% since the removal of these low quality listing pages. However the click thru rate has not improved and is stuck at about 2.2 pages per visitor. Shouldn't the click thru rate improve if the bounce rate goes own? Am I missing something? Also, is a lower bounce rate something that Google will take into account when calculating rank? Thanks, Alan

Company name doesn't have keyword: use domains instead?
Good Morning! Now, I'll admit, I may be obsessing a little too much on this, and it may not make that big of an impact in the long run, but with Google being introduced to the world if I were to start a business today I would try and include my keyword into the title of my business. For example Dollar Shave Club, at least they got the word shave in there. My business doesn't have a keyword in our name, is it beneficial to structure our URLs to include a keyword so that all of our URLs include that word? So if I sell organic bananas, but my company is called Evananas, is it worth it to have all domains become a child of Evananas.com/organic_bananas? That way at least we have the keyword "Organic Bananas" in our title? So I could then have things like: evananas.com/organic_bananas/recipes evananas.com/organic_bananas/benefits evananas.com/organic_bananas/taste_really_freeking_good Vs. evananas.com/recipes evananas.com/benefits evananas.com/taste_really_freeking_good I'm not sure it makes a difference. The other problem is I want to keep our URL's as short as possible. I feel like less is always more, but I was always under the impression domain/URL based keywords were rather powerful. Do I need to use canonical tags if I'm 301 redirecting pages?
I just took a job about three months and one of the first things I wanted to do was restructure the site. The current structure is solution based but I am moving it toward a product focus. The problem I'm having is the CMS I'm using isn't the greatest (and yes I've brought this up to my CMS provider). It creates multiple URL's for the same page. For example, these two urls are the same page: (note: these aren't the actual urls, I just made them up for demonstration purposes) http://www.website.com/home/meet-us/team-leaders/boss-man/

http://www.website.com/home/meet-us/team-leaders/boss-man/bossman.cmsx (I know this is terrible, and once our contract is up we'll be looking at a different provider) So clearly I need to set up canonical tags for the last two pages that look like this: With the new site restructure, do I need to put a canonical tag on the second page to tell the search engine that it's the same as the first, since I'll be changing the category it's in? For Example: http://www.website.com/home/meet-us/team-leaders/boss-man/ will become http://www.website.com/home/MEET-OUR-TEAM/team-leaders/boss-man My overall question is, do I need to spend the time to run through our entire site and do canonical tags AND 301 redirects to the new page, or can I just simply redirect both of them to the new page? Google isn't displaying the www. for my site in the SERPS
I noticed that every other site url in the serps for my main keywords has a www. on their display url except mine. I have the site set to display the www. Can this potentially hurt my SEO and what can I do to fix this? Thanks Aaron. www.png
