Backlink Profile Cleanup

I have downloaded the domains that link to my website (550 domains) and I am going through the low quality (low DA) sites to ask them to remove their links to my website or I will disavow them. I have noticed alot of blogspot.in and blogspot.nl (SEE ATTACHED)
Should I ask them for removal or disavow these?

Agreed with Chris that some context would help. This is a big, complex decision, and it's tough to judge link quality without seeing the links. My gut feeling is that a bunch of foreign Blogspot dofollow links probably are spammy, but there's a big difference between fixing a link-based penalty, preventing one, and just taking a hatchet to your links.

Agreed about treading carefully, but you can disavow subdomains. This is from Google's post when they launched disavow:
Q: Can I disavow something.example.com to ignore only links from that subdomain?
A: For the most part, yes. For most well-known freehosts (e.g. wordpress.com, blogspot.com, tumblr.com, and many others), disavowing "domain:something.example.com" will disavow links only from that subdomain. If a freehost is very new or rare, we may interpret this as a request to disavow all links from the entire domain. But if you list a subdomain, most of the time we will be able to ignore links only from that subdomain.
Since they call out Blogspot, I think it's pretty safe.

It would help to understand why have you decided to disavow links. Have you received a manual action or think you may be subject to algorithmic penalties? Has traffic to your site dropped? Just because a link comes from a site with low DA, it is not necessarily bad. Google is looking for manipulation.

I would disavow them, but be careful when disavow a Blogspot.
The tool work on domains and sub-domains so if you disavow domain:blogspot.com be prepared to lose a lot of links.
When you are reviewing links you need to pay a lot of attention to duplicate content – for example if you disavow a link from a site that is available at a .com and a .co.uk domain you will need to disavow them both.

Should I worry about backlinks like this?
So I am going through my backlink profile and of course those random backlinks popup from spammy type sites like this which are useless. Should I worry about links that come from sites like these? http://ppfinder.com/camy/shelvy

Does posting on blogs with anchored backlinks do you any good?
My current strategy: I am ranking for keyword and site: Immigration Consultant I access the Fresh Web Explorer and search my keyword, then find the blogposts with High Authority where I can post using HTML and include my link in my signature, or sometimes the post has a link associated with the username. Now my question is this, does this count? will google even crawl the comments? can I aid the crawling process somehow? Any advice on creating relavent back-links is much appreciated. Thank you

Customer testimonials and customer profile article guidelines?
I want to help people who give testimonials by writing an article about their business including a good quality link. This will be on the site that received the testimonial, possibly linked from an our customers page. I want to make each customer profile testimonial into a separate page. I don’t want to compete with the customer who gives the testimonial for their keyword phrase but I do want to boost their page rank if possible. What would be the best formula for title tag, headline and linking keywords etc?

Backlinks: What are they really and how can I create them.
I am relatively new to the SEO world, and I want to build backlinks linking to our main site. My preferred way to create backlinks is by adding them in my blog comments or forum responses. I am an active participant in a large number of blogs/forums related to our field and I would like to add relevant backlinks in the comments/answers I post. I originally thought that a backlink was just a link, but none of the links that I have added to blogs like that have been recognized as backlinks. https://www.dynaread.com/ Why is this so? I know now that good backlink would be something like: Dynaread is a science based dyslexia remediation program for older struggling readers. However I have no idea how to add this types of links to blog comments or forum pages where there is no link tool. Do I have to do something with HTML? Please explain briefly what a backlink really is and most importantly how I can create them. Thank you in advance for your help! Joy P.S if you have suggestions about some resources where I can learn more about the subject please let me know. I love to learn more.

Backlinks not showing up
I've been noticing that not all links that a website obtains are showing up as a backlink. For example, the following page has a link to a website (**www.pwgglaw.com)**at the bottom of the page. http://www.ocbar.org/AllNews/NewsView/tabid/66/smid/384/ArticleID/564/Default.aspx I went to opensiteexplorer and typed in pwgglaw.com and it didn't list the ocbar.org as a backlink. Is this right? If not, then how do you force the link from ocbar.org to show up as a backlink?
