When/where is it better to NOFOLLOW
-
Hello,
I have been away from SEO for a while and boy, how things changed... I have a question/concern about implementing nofollows...
Should I nofollow repeated internal links?
Should I nofollow internal links at all?
What if a page has too many internal links between top navigation with drop down menus, left column and footer links?OR
Should I only use nofollows for outbound links?
I am pretty confused and would love some clarification...
Thank you very much,
Koki

Koki,
As says Andy, there's noneed to nofollow internal links. Use nofollow on an external link when you can't vouch for the quality of a site, and when it's a paid link.

Hi
I would hate to leave SEO and then have to come back. I struggle keeping up to date and I spend all day looking after SEO.
You should probably read: http://moz.com/learn/seo/internal-link its a great article on internal linking.
Whether you should have them as "nofollow" this is upto you, but I would suggest leaving them as follow, but if you have all internal links as nofollow, then any DA your home page gets, the "link juice" (and I do hate that word) wouldn't be passed to the rest of your site, so the other pages would struggle to rank, as they don't have any PA.
Outbound links is different: if someone has paid for a link, then defiantly yes. If you are linking naturally and actually would recommend the article then yes leave it as follow.
I hope this is helpful and good look in getting back into the world of SEO.
Thanks
Andy

Moz/Google does not recognize text on Wix website
My client's website was built on Wix and despite having substantial content on web pages, Moz is claiming that there is very little-to-no content: Sufficient Characters/Words in Content. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've run a word count tool and it gives the same results. Website: pesclinical.com

Which is better Ajax, iframe in terms of seo for my category page review section?
Hello, Whatever reviews I receive from customer on my Product page same reviews I show on relevant Category and Subcategory Pages. Now due to this I feel somewhat my page google consider as duplicate. Not sure. So I am planning to use either ajax or iframe on my categories pages so that google can't read my reviews of category pages. Is it a good practice to use ajax or iframe or anything else you can suggest? Thanks!

Should event write-ups be nofollow?
Hi guys, tl:dr - Should articles discussing a company's event (offline content) be nofollow? My company hosts a number of events across the year, during which we invite a selection of bloggers, journalists and interested parties from across the UK. During these events we show them the "behind the scenes" of our company as well as the manufacturing process and give them an amazing experience surrounded by our products. We never (ever) ask for write-ups or links, and leave the day entirely open every time. If people ask about articles or links, we always say it's entirely up to them if they wish to talk about their experiences. So, my question is: should any follow-up articles (for example reviews of the day, which bloggers will want to talk about) be nofollow? They're not reviewing any products, nor have they been paid or incentivised to talk about their experience. One could argue the event itself is incentive, however if this is the case then surely providing content is equally incentivising... The only difference is that the content we're providing is offline? Would be good to get people's thoughts on this!

How bad is it to have duplicate content across http:// and https:// versions of the site?
A lot of pages on our website are currently indexed on both their http:// and https:// URLs. I realise that this is a duplicate content problem, but how major an issue is this in practice? Also, am I right in saying that the best solution would be to use rel canonical tags to highlight the https pages as the canonical versions?

Doubleclick and NoFollow
Hi, I'm trying to work out whether a group of links to my site are Follow or NoFollow. There is no rel=noFollow on the link but they do appear to go through Doubleclick (the link begins with this http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/), will this automatically cut-off any link juice? Thanks.

"/blogroll" causing 404 error
I'm running a campaign, and the crawling report for my site returned a lot of 4xx errors. When I look at the URLs, they all have a "/blogroll" in the end, like: mysite.com/post-number-1/blogroll mysite.com/post-number-2/blogroll And so on, for pretty much all the pages. The thing is, I removed the blogroll widget completely, so I really wouldn't know what can possibly point to links like that. Is there anything to fix on the site? Thanks
