On Moz Local, localeze says "this listing is already managed by someone else"
-
Hey Mozzers,
For my Moz local listings, there is a yellow exclamation mark on localeze and it says "this listing is already managed by someone else". My company previously had a listing with localeze, but we closed it early this year.
How can I remove localeze's control of our account? How can I make sure Localeze is feeding all the appropriate sites with the correct information?
thanks,
Evan Jerkunica

Hi Abe,
Thanks so much for the response. Do you have a specific contact over there? I have only found their sales phone numbers.
thank you!

Hello Evan, thanks for reaching out to us It looks like Localeze hasn’t removed that data from their API yet. In this case, they should be able to fix this if you reach out to them and request the duplicate removal. We do not have a way at this time to bypass that error if Localeze hasn't physically removed that data yet. Sorry for the trouble, I'm sure they will be willing to help. If you have any trouble once they've done this, feel free to reach out to us at help@moz.com

Moz Local - City being named twice
Hello, So the provided address by Moz is being pulled from Google. It's listing the city twice, even though Google Plus isn't doing this. Meaning there's a few inconsistent listings for the address. Any ideas how to change the address that Moz is using? Thanks 🙂 fDmsIos

Hi, I'm trying to submit the Moz Local service and it keeps saying unable to validate the listing even though our Facebook and Google accounts have been provided and match the listing. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be struggling to find our listing for some reason.

Local Moz - documentation for Acxiom
Hello there, Moz Local shows that I am not listed with Acxiom, so I went directly to the Acxiom website to add my business listing. During that process, Acxiom asks for business documentation to be uploaded (DBA, license, Federal ID, etc.). If I were using Local Moz to send the data out to the data aggregators, how does it handle this portion (uploading business license, etc. as required)? I'm hoping to use Moz Local for my website clients but need to understand this bit first. Thanks for your help!

How does Moz Local work with business that don't have a physical location? (e.g., handyman, locksmith, etc.)
I'm wondering how Moz Local will handle a business that doesn't want to publicly display an address. A handyman, landscaper, or locksmith might want to do something like this. Is it easily handled or do you have to manually try to "work around" to hide the address on sites that let you? Thanks!
