Income potencial of a website from ad platforms in terms of the daily traffic?

Hello all,

I would like to have an idea of the potential monthly income for traffic generation (I mean just for visits to the website and not considering the sales of any given product or service) in a website, in the case I am using ads&marketing platforms for ads diplays.

I know it can be very variable, depending on sales achieved, leads generated,etc...but just focusing on traffic on the website, what would be a reasonable figure?

1000 visits per day?= $1 dollar?

100,000 visits per day?=$???

170k visitors in a month = $140 with only 1 banner ad on the whole site you might get better results with more banners

Google is mixing a product name with a technical term (both have same name)

Google is mixing a programming term name with a home product and ranking that programming website on top. And there is another 2 search results from the same website (DA - 56, PA - 55, Links - 71K, RD - 4500). Their positions are 1, 2 and 3. But the question/ answer section is showing question/ answer for both of the products, and there is local section, top stories, images, videos, Wikipedia, amazon, ad and an e-commerce site which is showing the home product. There are in total 7 results, and 1 ad. Google also showing description of both of the products on the right. 1,2,3 - Programming website, 4. Amazon, 5. Wikipedia, 6. Wikipedia, 7. E-commerce How difficult it could be to outrank the top result?

Any advice for a bootstrap retail website trying to grow our backlinks?

Hi there, Our online business https://www.irishcelticjewellery.com is based in Ireland but targets USA and European markets. We have been heavily focused on Adwords as the primary traffic source, and a few months ago attempted to revamp and fine-tune this, which negative results. I believe we moved too fast and changed too many configurations too quickly. Organic traffic has been neglected, and so has stayed flat at approx 10% of traffic, however analytics suggests that the majority of these visitors have less than 30% bounce rate, view more than 6 pages/visit, and have been the source of more than 50% of our sales over a 2 year period. Based on this, I see a huge need to focus on organic now, and I'm wondering if you have any advice on building back-links. I have begun listing the website in as many relevant business directories as I can find, and we recently began pushing the website on social media as much as our budget allows. I'm mainly considering targeting complimentary websites, asking them to link to us in exchange for a 4-5% of each sale originating from their backlinks to us. Is that a realistic approach to building backlinks? and do you think this kind of arrangement will be well-received generally? We're a small operation, with a tight budget. Im running a campaign for a coupon site, coupons are added and expire weekly. What are the most important factors you think I should focus on

Banner Ads Without Getting Penalised?

Hi All, Basically I have 3-4 Biggish video autoblogs that I keep tabs on and they pull videos on my niche and are actually decent quality websites they are just autoblogs as they automatically get the youtube videos. The issue is that I want to advertise my brandnew site on them as I'm selling a service in the same niche. I know that nofollow will not pass rank and should be safe but what is the absolute safest way to put banner advertisements on these sites without being penalised? I'm wanting the advertisements for advertisement purposes not link building. I'm worried about getting 10k+ links from the same domain x4 and google not only noticing that but linking the fact I own all 5 sites.. Any help would be great. Thanks

Why Does This Website Rank?

Hi, I was looking over some mobile phone deals today and after search for Blackberry Torch Deals in Google UK I came across this site - http://www.phoneslimited.co.uk/Blackberry/9800+Torch.html When I hit the page I was amazed it was ranking #1 because it literally just lists affiliate link after affiliate link. The page has next to no unique content and keyword density is non existent. In fact, the whole on page seo is just whack. So why does it rank so well? The site seems to rank well for a variety of similar keywords? I think we could learn a lot breaking it down
