-
Hi, i am after a report where i can type in a URL nd get SPECIFIC details on how to exactly optimise a SPECIFIC page (not just the home page) for better organic results. A complete overview to everything in relation to tags, images tags, headers etc etc. I am yet to find the ability to get such a report with your service. COudl you please advise how i can do so.

Hi Andrew
Use Nibbler! This will do what you want and it doesn't confuse you with too many graphs, it just gives you a 0 - 10 rating and a colour to go off. It will check 5 pages of your site so get everything scoring as close to 10 as possible and then you can just replicate the changes you made across the entire site when your more comfortable with what your doing.
Also scan through your site using www.quicksprout.com
That ones pretty good as well but Nibbler provides better explanations and instructions.

Moz has the On Page Grader. You can also use the "analyze page issues" function inside your campaign. Go to Search in the left nav menu, click on crawl diagnostics, and then a drop down will appear that says "analyze page issues". You can type in a URL there and get some more information. I use both of these tools and find them to be extremely helpful in catching anything I might miss.

Hi Andrew,
You're best bet is to perform a crawl and go through the results
as some of the things you listed are there and others not.
Best,

Page Authority higher on my old (redirected) domain than new domain?
Hi everyone. I moved the domain my blog was on about 18 months ago, and it's ranking in Google never recovered. I've noticed in the 'Inbound Links' tool that my old domain (jamescrowley.co.uk) shows a page authority of 26, while my new domain (jamescrowley.net) shows a page authority of 15. Any idea why that would be? 301 redirects have been in place for the whole 18 months, so I'd have thought the authority would have been 'passed on' by now? Many thanks James

None of the pages crawled contain an email address or links to a social profile...
I'm trying to reduce the amount of spam flags our website has using the Open Site Explorer tool. Currently, we have 2/17 flags based on: Large Site with Few Links - We found very few sites linking to this site, considering its size No Contact Info - None of the pages crawled contain an email address or links to a social profile The "few links" can be ignored, we're working on this. We don't have a visible email address on the website and we don't particularly want one. We prefer customers to fill out our online form or to call us. Moz say "none of the pages crawled contain an email address OR links to a social profile" - we do have social buttons on every page of the website, but these are official Facebook and Twitter buttons that are rendered with Javascript, so don't actually appear in the page source on load. If we replace these with actual links to our pages using Facebook and Twitter icons, will this flag be removed since Moz are saying "or links to a social profile" - making it sound optional. Thanks!

Page Authority = 1 of linking page?
I am trying to determine if any of our PR services or inbound links are hurting our SEO. To do this I am using the Open Site Explorer tool and checking some of the URL's that link to us. While doing this I found a page that has a Page authority of 1/100 most other links have a decent authority...does this score mean this page has been penalized by Google? If not what else could a 1/100 mean?
