Learn how to reclaim links using Open Site Explorer: Get your Daily SEO Fix!
-
Hi there!
We're excited to announce a new collection of video tutorials focused on tips and tricks with Moz tools--each in two minutes or less. We're calling this how-to series The Moz Daily SEO Fix, and over the next 30 days we will publish a new video every weekday. Our goal is to help you get the absolute most out of your Moz Pro subscription and learn new ways to accomplish your SEO objectives.
In today's Daily SEO Fix, David explains how to use Open Site Explorer's top pages tab, as well as the filter for 4xx and 5xx errors to find the pages on your site with the most potential link equity that are broken and can be redirected. 301'ing these URLs to relevant pages on your site can give your rankings a serious boost. Watch The Moz Daily SEO Fix: How to Reclaim Links Using Open Site Explorer to learn how.

Short and simple. I look forward to see the series!

Thank you MOZ for this, I will be sure to turn in each weekday. I often find a "How to" video much more beneficial than reading an article. VERY helpful.

Open site Explorer Facebook Shares
In open site explorer I have been trying to increase my Facebook Shares and likes. I recently posted my URL and got over 150 likes but none of that has been showing up in open site explorer. I noticed my profile was set to private so I went back and made sure it was public and the shared link was public but nothing. Can anybody explain to me what exactly the Facebook share is measuring? Because the explanation it gives me isn't working for some reason. Perhaps it takes a bit longer for Facebook measure than Twitter or Google Plus, but it has been a few days and I would expect it to have registered by now. Any help would be great. If it helps you can help check it out. My URL is http://www.baselinedental.com Thanks!

Why does Open site explorer only show a fraction of the linked Domains that Google does?
One of my sites ( http://www.georgerossphotography.com ) shows 19 root domains and 155 links on Open Site Explorer. This doesn't pass the sniff test with me and when I look at Google Webmasters they show 120 domains with 1,870 links. I am assuming that Google use it's own data for ranking purposes which makes me question the validity of Open Site Explorer? Am I missing something ? I have been using OSE as my primary tool and now I feel that it has little value. I would appreciate any feedback. George.

Why doesn't my site show up in Moz Site Explorer
I started this website about 2 months ago, www.guyetteroofing.com. I know it still needs a lot of work, but I can't find any information on it on the site explorer tool.
