Canonicalisation/ Moz/ WP.

Hi, I've recently put a new site live using Wordpress, and have hooked it up to Moz Analytics.
Moz is reporting >1000 pages with 'missing meta description page', and >250 with 'duplicate page content'. The issues seem to be being flagged by pages with '?sort=asc&view=main', ?show=paged&view=main, '?sort=ratedup&show=all&view=list', etc.
I have a number of category pages, which users can filter by etc to give them the information in the way they want to see it.
I have this '
I haven't got many pages indexed by Google yet, so can't see if they're hitting the same issues as Moz.
Any help/ advice appreciated.

Hi Kate - really appreciate you putting my mind at ease!
107 sounds about right, although I wonder if it's picking up some of the 'thin' category pages for example that WP creates. I really need to learn WP!

You have no duplicate problems. The canonicals seem to be in place. I see no URLs like that without a canonical or redirect in my crawl.
Just as a heads up though, when I crawled, I got 107 total pages that would be indexed, does that sound right?

Could you give me your domain? I am not sure if Moz has fixed the canonical issue, but I know it didn't recognize those in the past. I am happy to check your code myself if you can give me the site.

Do we get "Removal of "nofollow" from first custom URL on profile" when we cross 200 Moz Points? I have not received it yet, anything I can do?
Though I have only recently subscribed to Moz Pro, I have been using Moz Blog for quite some time. I recently crossed 200 Moz Points. As per Moz Points, it says "Removal of "nofollow" from first custom URL on profile" for crossing 200 points. I still dont see any links from Moz when I am using OSE. Can anyone suggest what i need to do?

I have a duplicate content on my Moz crawler, but google hasn't indexed those pages: do I still need to get rid of the tags?
I received an urgent error from the Moz crawler that I have duplicate content on my site due to the tags I have. For example: http://www.1forjustice.com/graves-amendment/ The real article found here: http://www.1forjustice.com/car-accident-rental-car/ I didn't think this was a big deal, because when I looked at my GWT these pages weren't indexed (picture attached). Question: should I bother fixing this from an SEO perspective? If Google isn't indexing the pages, then am I losing link juice? 6c2kxiZ

Our main competitor is/was doing some Black Hat tactics....
Our main competitor Royal Cases, a custom case manufacturer and designer, has some really shady links and some dummy domains with duplicate content, yet they are ranking #1 organically for some of the industry's top search terms. Let me give you some examples. First off, they have multiple dummy domains with the same exact same content as their main website. One of these is casescasescases.net. They have a couple more that are just as bad. Secondly, their link profile is so shockingly black hat, I can't figure out why/how they haven't been deindexed or hit with a filter. I'll give you some examples. I ran a link analysis through Moz, and found multiple links from many websites that have absolutely NOTHING to do with custom cases. Here are a few of the linking domains: http://moneysourceonline.com/ ; www.lemons2lemonade.com/ ; http://jenaesboutique.com/ ; These are just a few. Now here is what I don't understand, when I go to explore the individual inbound links, I can't find the links to Royal anywhere on the pages. They have dozens from different pages on these obviously completely unrelated websites, but when you go to those pages, the links themselves are nowhere to be found. Yet, they are showing up as inbound links....I am lost. Does anyone have any idea what in the world is going on here? Is there a way to report this to Google? Normally I wouldn't resort to this sort of "tattle-tailing" but this company has a history of scheming and just horrendous business practices, and they recently had to pay a large settlement for pirating software for their company.

Used a free WP theme and now Webmaster Tools has shown hundreds of broken links
Hello everyone, We've recently launched two new music instrument listing websites. One in the US http://www.yourinstrument.com One in AU http://www.yourinstrument.com.au While we're waiting for our custom, branded WP to be built, I went and put up one of the free themes with closely matching colors. Clearly, this was a mistake because now my WMT account has spit out around 200 'not found' errors and my Moz account is calling them around 282 'dupe page titles' and 'content'??? 1. Aren't WP outbound links supposed to be 'nofollow' ? / Why is my theme creating strange links? 2. Can I clean all these up with assigning rel=canonical to the original blog post? Do I need to wait for the new theme to be installed and then 301 the random URLs found by Moz and WMT ? weird link examples: http://imgur.com/Cm6pO5H Please help 😕

Can I see when SEO Moz has crawled my website?
I would like to know if it's possible to see (maybe in my Google Analytics) if SEO Moz has crawled my website. I'm also curious if and where I can see when the robot of Google visited my website. Thanks!
