How do I work out which term is more commonly searched, workforce productivity vs workforce efficiency
-
Trying to discover which one people are more likely to plug into a search engine.
-
Yes those tools are good and the comment about intent is right on the money too. [Apple might have a high search volume, but that's not necessarily as helpful as you might think, if you are a fruit seller.]
One thing I like to do when looking at various keywords is to put them in Moz's keyword tool and see which sites are ranking.
This tells you something about intent (the sites that rank highest for a search term are likely to be the most closely aligned with user intent) and about competition (the tools shows you some metrics about the ranking domains). It doesn't help to pick a term with a high search volume if the competition is way out of your league.

John's right, but you need to work out what the search intent for each term is - and presumably pick the one that more closely matches your goals - this video is worth a watch: https://moz.com/blog/google-may-use-your-behavior-to-impact-search-rankings-whiteboard-friday

There are several methods - adwords keyword planner - or I use semrush.com. If you use semrush, it allows you some free searches. You need to choose your country that you are focusing on. A site for useful tools is website-tools.net - that provides a few more.
Let me know if need any more assistance.

Unsolved Site Crawler not working but on-demand crawler working
Hi, In Moz pro, when using Site crawler (or recrawl), we are seeing message site is banned. But when using on-demand crawler, it could generate report successfully. I just like to know if in both these cases, it is roberbot that is used! And kindly note, site crawler was perfectly working before. So the required setup is already in place from long time. Site crawler ban issue started appearing from nov/dec 2023. . Could you please us understand how could we possibly make site-crawler work?

Is BigCommerce a good CMS for Improving Search Visibility for our E-Commerce Business?
We have recently moved from Wordpress to BigCommerce and have noticed a decline in our Search Visibility score on MOZ. Following the recommendations of IT consultants, we were under the impression that moving to BigCommerce would significantly improve our Search Visibility. We were wondering if there is anyone out there who is currently using or have used BigCommerce and had similar issues? Any personal reviews/recommendations would be much appreciated! 🙂 Thanks!

Ahrefs vs Moz
Hi! I noticed the Moz DA en the Ahrefs DA are very different. Where https://www.123opzeggen.nl/ has a DA of 10 at MOZ, the DA at Ahrefs is 26. Where does this big difference come from? Do you measure in different ways? I hope you can answer this question for me. Thank you in advance!

What are followed vs non-followed links in Domain Analyis report?
I'm new to SEOMoz and wondering if some nice person can put this into plain English for me? 🙂 On the Competitive Domain Analysis report there are green follow / no-follow links and blue followed / non-followed linking root domains? what is the context of the green & blue circles? is there a better or worse visual representation that I should aim for - more dark green, more light green or about half & half. thanks in advance

How Does On Page Analysis work
Hi guys, I just need to run something past you. when I look at my on page analysis I have 5 key terms I am focusing on. For instance one of them is "computer backup". According to the report the current grade is 'F' when looking at site page "/" which I assume is the home page.
Moz Pro | | cubetech
When I do a lookup on other pages of the site it gets a ranking of A. Which is good. But since the hompage ranking went from A to F my rankings have definitely been affect. So i guess my questions are: does "/" mean the hompage, or all pages overall. What should I really be looking at here. I am assuming that you select certain pages to target certain key words. Should i be focusing like this, or more to the "/". Thanks Guys hoping to clear this one up.0 -
How do data feeds work in product selection
Hi – I don't know if this is an SEO matter or not, but I have data feeds to Google, Bing and thefind.com for all of my products. I have no idea if these feeds help. My guess is that they do not generate much business. For example if I type in "Brass Bookends" our products usually don't show up until the late pages. Using this as an example does anyone know how these sites select the order in which they display products? Another way to phrase this is what makes thefind.com show a competitor's brass bookends several pages before ours? FYI we have been doing these data feeds for a year on a consistent basis so being new shouldn't be a factor. Any insights will be most appreciated. Thanks. Don. www.uniquegiftsanddecor.com
