Issues with getting a web page indexed
-
Hello friends,
I am finding it difficult to get the following page indexed on search: http://www.niyati.sg/mobile-app-cost.htm
It was uploaded over two weeks back. For indexing and trouble shooting, we have already done the following activities:
- The page is hyperlinked from the site's inner pages and few external websites and Google+
- Submitted to Google (through the Submit URL option)
- Used the 'Fetch and Render' and 'Submit to index' options on Search Console (WMT)
- Added the URL on both HTML and XML Sitemaps
- Checked for any crawl errors or Google penalty (page and site level) on Search Console
- Checked Meta tags, Robots.txt and .htaccess files for any blocking
Any idea what may have gone wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Umar!
I guess the issue was with the canonical tag on the page, which was wrongly linked to the cached page you mentioned about. I have corrected it now. Let me wait for a day to check if the page is getting indexed.
Thanks again for taking time to look at the issue!
Regards

Hi,
I suspect it's a redirection problem here. When I'm trying to get the cached copy of this page http://www.niyati.sg/mobile-app-cost.htm, it's showing this to me http://www.niyati.sg/web-design-cost.htm
Check yourself here.
Just fix this redirection and your pages will start indexing.
Thanks,

Over 500 thin URLs indexed from dynamically created pages (for lightboxes)
I have a client who has a resources section. This section is primarily devoted to definitions of terms in the industry. These definitions appear in colored boxes that, when you click on them, turn into a lightbox with their own unique URL. Example URL: /resources/?resource=dlna The information for these lightboxes is pulled from a standard page: /resources/dlna. Both are indexed, resulting in over 500 indexed pages that are either a simple lightbox or a full page with very minimal content. My question is this: Should they be de-indexed? Another option I'm knocking around is working with the client to create Skyscraper pages, but this is obviously a massive undertaking given how many they have. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

Duplicate Page Titles Issue in Campaign Crawl Error Report
Hello All! Looking at my campaign I noticed that I have a large number of 'duplicate page titles' showing up but all they are the various pages at the end of the URL. Such as, http://thelemonbowl.com/tag/chocolate/page/2 as a duplicate of http://thelemonbowl.com/tag/chocolate. Any suggestions on how to address this? Thanks!

Does Google index internal anchors as separate pages?
Hi, Back in September, I added a function that sets an anchor on each subheading (h[2-6]) and creates a Table of content that links to each of those anchors. These anchors did show up in the SERPs as JumpTo Links. Fine. Back then I also changed the canonicals to a slightly different structur and meanwhile there was some massive increase in the number of indexed pages - WAY over the top - which has since been fixed by removing (410) a complete section of the site. However ... there are still ~34.000 pages indexed to what really are more like 4.000 plus (all properly canonicalised). Naturally I am wondering, what google thinks it is indexing. The number is just way of and quite inexplainable. So I was wondering: Does Google save JumpTo links as unique pages? Also, does anybody know any method of actually getting all the pages in the google index? (Not actually existing sites via Screaming Frog etc, but actual pages in the index - all methods I found sadly do not work.) Finally: Does somebody have any other explanation for the incongruency in indexed vs. actual pages? Thanks for your replies! Nico

Establishing our web pages as the original source
I'm currently working on a recrutiment website. One of the things we do to drive traffic to the site is post our job listings out to a number of job boards eg. Indeed. These sites replicate our own job listings which means that for every job there are at least 5-10 exact duplicates on the web. By nature the job boards have good domain authority so they always rank above us but I would still expect to see more in the way of long-tail traffic. Is it necessary for me to claim our own job listings as the original source and if so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks

Unnecessary pages getting indexed in Google for my blog
I have a blog dapazze.com and I am suffering from a problem for a long time. I found out that Google have indexed hundreds of replytocom links and images attachment pages for my blog. I had to remove these pages manually using the URL removal tool. I had used "Disallow: ?replytocom" in my robots.txt, but Google disobeyed it. After that, I removed the parameter from my blog completely using the SEO by Yoast plugin. But now I see that Google has again started indexing these links even after they are not present in my blog (I use #comment). Google have also indexed many of my admin and plugin pages, whereas they are disallowed in my robots.txt file. Have a look at my robots.txt file here: http://dapazze.com/robots.txt Please help me out to solve this problem permanently?

How to get Google to index another page
Hi, I will try to make my question clear, although it is a bit complex. For my site the most important keyword is "Insurance" or at least the danish variation of this. My problem is that Google are'nt indexing my frontpage on this, but are indexing a subpage - www.mydomain.dk/insurance instead of www.mydomain.dk. My link bulding will be to subpages and to my main domain, but i wont be able to get that many links to www.mydomain.dk/insurance. So im interested in making my frontpage the page that is my main page for the keyword insurance, but without just blowing the traffic im getting from the subpage at the moment. Is there any solutions to do this? Thanks in advance.

Database Driven Websites: Crawling and Indexing Issues
Hi all - I'm working on an SEO project, dealing with my first database-driven website that is built on a custom CMS. Almost all of the pages are created by the admin user in the CMS, pulling info from a database. What are the best practices here regarding SEO? I know that overall static is good, and as much static as possible is best, but how does Google treat a site like this? For instance, lets say the user creates a new page in the CMS, and then posts it live. The page is rendered and navigable, after putting together the user-inputed info (the content on the page) and the info pulled from the database (like info pulled out to create the Title tag and H1 tags, etc). Is this page now going to be crawled successfully and indexed as a static page in Google's eyes, and thus ok to start working on rank for, etc? Any help is appreciated - thanks!

Getting a citation page indexed
Howdy mozzers, I have a citation on a .govt domain with 2 links pointing to my site. The page is not indexed by Google, bing or yahoo. URL; http://www.familyservices.govt.nz/directory/viewprovider.htm?id=17077 I have tried getting the paged indexed by building bookmark links to it. I have tweeted the url and gotten a few re-tweets for it. But no luck. The page has got no nofollow meta tag. Other listings have been indexed by google. Could someone please advise on means to help me get the page indexed? A strategy that I have not yet tried is submitting a sitemap that includes the external url as I am not sure if it is possible to include url's not part of my domain. Any advice, help would be greatly appreciated. viva le SEOmoz Thanks
