Non-www or www from outside links to my site?

I'm new on SEO and recently redid this my website.
This website is a local business that just sell around my city, so I started linking the website on listing sites. I found one directory that didn't allow me to add a non-www, so I change on every listing site or directory to www, It seems you can get your google ranking harmed if there is variations to access your website.I know that everything will arrive on the same page no matter I have a non-www or www, but the Website is Hosted on Godaddy and it seems that they don't use the www version even if you want. So my domain is non-www.
On the other hand I just have been notified that google webmaster tools couldn't verify my account and I did it again and is verified now. Cheking again on WMT, it doesn't show the previous links that were under "Links to Your Site" it just show "no data available". Here in MOZ it show different results between non-www and www
Why is this happening? What should I do? And in which way my google ranking can be affected by this?

One more question.
Exploring GWT, I got an automatic message from them explaining a few key points to improve the search presence.
At the point one of the list, is mention to add all the versions of my website (www, non-www and https). See file attach.
So I guess I should add all the version ...

Sorry for confusion
"End version" as end result people see in browser's address bar after all redirects.
If people type in "www.mysite.com" and it's being redirected to "mysite.com" - then "mysite.com" is end version.
If people type in "http://mysite.com" it redirects to "http://www.mysite.com" then to "https://www.mysite.com" - then "https://www.mysite.com" is end version.
If people type in "https://www.mysite.com" and you redirect them to "mysite.com" - "mysite.com" is end version.

I'm sorry for coming back again, but I'm fairly new on this and a few things can be misinterpreted.
When you say "end" version, you mean the version people use more or the one that I have on my server.
Example, people usually seems to always put the www (www.mysite.com) when they type my domain but on the end is always converted to non-www (mysite.com) because is the version I have on my hosting server. So the end version is the one on my server?

For listings and GMT use the version, which is the "end" version for user.
Example:
For my website I use https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com. That's my "end" version,Https and www version, I want this version to be displayed in SERPs, listings etc. So, no matter what version you type in address bar (hyperlinksmedia.com, http://hyperlinksmedia.com, www.hyperlinksmedia.com, http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com,https://hyperlinksmedia.com) they all gonna be 301-redirected to https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com.
So, I use it in listings, if listings don't allow to use https://, I use next best thing, which is http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com.
And I use https www version in GMT. Because that's the version I want to track, since it's the "end product", I'm not interested in transitional steps.

- based on the point number one I don't need to change again the links on the listing sites even though, there, I added the link with www and the site is non-www.
If I add new listings should do the same or add the correct link (non-www)
And what version should I choose on Google webmaster tools? the non-www or the www? I think now is the www, because it shows www.mysite.com

With GoDaddy you should have access to the DNS template for the website, just add a cname record for www or A record if that's what you want to use.
What do you set for rel=canonical? Everything should be consistent.

There is probably an automatic 301 redirect setup. When necessary use the www. version of your url. When link building, use the non www. version of your url. Not all "Juice" is transferred through a 301 redirect.

Well, let's go step by step:
- www vs non-www.
From SEO perspective It doesn't matter what version you link to, as long as you have proper 301 redirect from one version to another.
RewriteCond %{http_host} ^your-domain.com [nc]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.your-domain.com/$1 [r=301,nc]This will assure that you wouldn't have duplicate content and will give Crawler Bots understanding what version of your website is "canonical". Just remember that "www" is technically subdomain. At the same time you can set preffered version of your website in Google Webmaster Tools. This will "tell" google how to display your website in Search Results.

If you have added new version (http://, www, non-www, https://) of your website to GMT it will require some time to gather all information.

- MOZ different results
Make sure that you do have proper 301 redirect from www to non-www (or the opposite), if you just did it, it will take time for MOZ tools to recrawl and understand that. If redirect is proper you should see in Open Site Explorer a message like this (when you enter the version, which is supposed to be redirected):
You entered the URL http://your-domain.com which redirects to http://www.your-domain.com/.
Because it's likely to have more accurate metrics, we're showing data for the redirected URL instead.
Click here to analyze http://your-domain.com instead?
So, first, make sure you have redirect, then wait until it's recrawled. (You can request recrawl in GMT).

New site links?
Hi all, Don't know whether this is new, or whether I'm very unobservant and just noticed, but certain results in the SERPs have started listing site links, more akin to Ads. So, if you google 'Department Stores London', you'll see the top listing 'Visit London' has four sitelinks underneath for Selfridges, Debenhams, Harrods and Fenwick. Is this markup? My website has sitelinks if you search for us, but if we appear in a generic list (like this search), then they disappear. Any ideas? Cheers, Rhys

Citations or Links
My I just verified 2 new locations via "Google My Business" (G+) for a client. - the purpose is to get visibility and rank in the google maps for those 2 new areas. These locations are not storefronts but are verified in G+ as branches of the business. The G+ listings are set to display zip codes and not show the address to the public - this is akin to showing a service area radius. Normally I'd just do citation building. But I dont want the address to show up to the public. Most listing websites need the address and don't really allow for service area radiuses. Since they are not storefronts, I do not want to display their addresses online. My question is can I see traction to just get links other than business listing citations pointed to the G+ pages? I think that since Google trusts it's own web pages above all else so pointing links to those G+ pages should work. Who's got an expert opinion?

Do Citations help will all local rankings/Pages on my website or just the page it's linked to
Hi All, My ecommerce site has different category/landing pages for each of my branches . I'm currently getting some more citations done as wondered the following Is it a general rule to say, that the more citations you have the better as long as they are consistent and free? Given that I have different categories /landing pages showing the NAP of my individual branches along with unique content, should all these extra citations help with local rankings across my whole site or is it usually just helping the specific localized webpage it's pointing to ? I can get a company to help me do my citations but to do all the branches, it is going to be quite expensive. Is citations quite a big individual SEO factor in local search as opposed to on page seo factors etc etc. Any advice greatly appreciated. thanks Peter

Is getting a top position in a local results block acheiveable if you are outside of the central zone ?
Most of the keywords / phrases we are targeting have the city (London) appended to it ie. service name London, service name in London etc. The business of the site we are working on is located in London, but not in central London. Because of this i think the site is not being ranking as well as it could be (compared to other sites that in the centre or nearer to the centre with seemingly lower profiles, including have no reviews on their Google + Pages). The site itself is relatively strong fluctuating between 3rd and 5th spot for the target phrases in the organic listings, but because of the local block which sits under position 2 our site always towards the bottom of the first page. We've submitted the site to all the relevant local directories and listings sites, got 3 google reviews on the Plus profile and added the correct local html schema markup to any of our sites pages where our address is mentioned, but still we are sitting at around #12 on the local listings block (when you click Map results for...) at the bottom of the 7 local listings. So the site dosnt seem far off being on the front page, but I feel ive exhausted the optimisation i can do, any ideas how i can make any gains in these local listings ?

Questions about On-site Location Content for Service Area Businesses
Hello all, I've got a couple tough questions about how to go about creating locations pages for my business, and I'm wondering if you can give me some much needed direction. I'm about to launch a professional house cleaning business which will serve Philadelphia and a couple surrounding counties. I plan on aggressively expanding to other large cities, and while I plan on building a Philly locations page, I'm unsure of how to rank organically for all the individual towns/municipalities in the surrounding counties in the middle without having a physical business location there. Should I even hope to rank for these smaller towns? Would a page where the county is in the h1 tag, and say the top 10 largest towns in that county listed underneath in h2 tags help me reach searchers in those top 10 largest towns? How about paying ~$100 for a physical street address in each county and submitting that NAP to local directories of the larger towns, as well as getting a Google My Business page and using the service radius option? Is there some other strategy that I'm missing? I'm just at a loss for how to compete without AdWords for the people searching in the smaller towns when my competition is businesses with NAP/citations and their main page dedicated solely to that smaller town. Google seems to have made it even harder with Pigeon coming out recently. I serve those areas just as readily as my competition, yet the customer will predominantly see them SOLELY due to the fact that most of my competition are incapable of serving or choose not to serve wide areas. I understand that these businesses are dedicating a lot of resources to those small towns, but it does seem a sad fact that it doesn't mean they're any higher quality of a company than mine, yet they get a leg up. ANY advice or direction would be greatly appreciated, and would come with a huge internet bear hug.

Google Places: Can't link to website
Hi, how are you? I'm Having some problems with my clients Google Places/Plus listings. Everything is OK, but I can't get my website linked. I'm talking about what I point out in the image. Site links mutually exclusive with Google+ Business?
Hey all! I've been looking at the search results for our company name (Angelsmith). Looking at our listing, our search result has title, authorship, ties in with Google+, reviews, link to map, plus the big sidebar Google+ Business result with map, logo, directions, hours, etc. Our site is well-indexed, we're using a sitemap, etc. but I notice we do not have any sitelinks under our result. And come to think of it, I can't remember seeing any search results that have authorship and Google+ listings on it AS WELL AS a nice set of sitelinks underneath. So I'm wondering: are Google+ Business and sitelinks mutually exclusive? How about authorship and sitelinks? Do we have any control over which get displayed on search results?
