Bulk Page Authority Tracking
-
Hi
Is there a way in Moz to identify your page authority by landing page, possibly crawling the site and providing this in bulk so you don't have to go through and check each page?
I want to track how my page authority for certain pages moves over time.
Thank you

Hi David
Thank you for this. How often is the index updated?
-
Hi Becky
Just want to clarify when you are providing us your URL in a Moz campaign, this is not scheduling us to crawl your site but querying an existing database (our index) to retrieve any information we may have already collected for your site.
Our Mozscape index crawls constantly for links and you don't have to have a Moz subscription to view your domain/page authority. A Moz subscription gives you more access to existing data and reporting tools and does not influence how we discover and index links.
Hope this helps!

Great thank you!

Cool I'll give it a go thanks for the help!

10 at a time, yes. But beyond the 50 you can get in Moz Analytics, it's the easiest way to check beyond those 50 as well. Doing 10 takes about 10 seconds - Putting in 100 would take 2 minutes and the file collation would take another minute or two. Five minutes maybe for your top 100 pages is the best simple way I know.
-
Not necessarily. I usually go via the campaign dashboard for clients, but you can use it to check out the top 50 pages of your competitors' websites too via that link.
-
Great thanks I'll give this a go! Do you need to set up a campaign for Moz to crawl your site first?
Thanks!
-
Great thanks, the only problem I found was you can only check 10 links at a link with that review tool - I need to do a lot more

In your Moz Analytics, if you click on Link Analysis from the Links section in the sidebar, you will see the Top Pages by PA tab.
Clicking this will show you a table of your Top 50 Pages by Page Authority, sorted into Page Title, PA, LRDs, Total External Links and HTTP Status. You can also export this to CSV for your own records or just to suit your own preference of data browsing in an application of your choice (Excel, Google Sheets, whatever).
Hope that helps!
EDIT: This might be easier...

You are looking (at least in part) for the http://www.seoreviewtools.com/bulk-seomoz-authority-checker/
(It's linked from the Moz API page so i assume it's an authorized use?)
Then just keep a record of each month and build your own tables. You can easily get the list of your pages to start with from Screaming Frog or a sitemap generator and then enter them into the tool. Export the results and voila, all the data you need.

Can links tracking lists help to crawl high authority backlinks by Moz?
My backlinks are not crawling by Moz yet after creating them four months ago. I have just added them in the links tracking lists now. May these links tracking lists help to crawl these backlinks by Moz? I have created same backlinks for my another site. But it has crawled by Moz within 10 days. This site is EditorialGE. But the same backlinks of my another sites are not crawled my Moz yet. Even my guest posts' links are not crawled by Moz yet which are created about two months ago. So, I have submitted them to links tracking list. Can links tracking lists help to crawl those high authority relevant backlinks ba Moz? Please let me know.

Frequency of Moz page authority updates?
I have some new pages on my site, and Moz gives them a very low PA ranking. I am wondering if these scores are updated monthly or quarterly? I'm not sure how frequently to check back for updated scoring.

API - Internal Links to page and related metrics
Hi dear moz Team! Currently I´m building a Java application accessing your API. But there are some metrics I urgently need which I can´t get out of the API until now: The total number of internal links to a page The total number of internal links to a page with partial anchor text match MozRank passed by all internal links w. part. match anchor text (would be nice) For example, if I try this by your links endpoint, my idea was: http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/links/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jetztspielen.de%2F?AccessID=..

&Scope=domain_to_page
&Filter=internal
&Sort=domain_authority
&SourceCols=4 (or any other value)
&SourceDomain=www.jetztspielen.de
&Offset=0
&Limit=50 If I try this, the API says: {"status": "400", "error_message": "Cannot set a source domain when filtering for internal links."} Is there any way to get the data I need by your API endpoints? I´m currently writing my master thesis and it is very important to me to solve this somehow. Thank you very much in advance! Best, Andreas Pollierer1 -
On-Page Reports showing old urls
While taking a look at our sites on-page reports I noticed some of our keywords with very old urls that haven't existed for close to a year. How do I make sure moz's keyword ranking is finding the correct page and make sure I'm not getting graded on that keywords/urls that don't exist any more or have been 301'd to new urls? Is there a way to clean these out? My on-page reports say I have 62 reports for only a total of 34 keywords in rankings. As you can see from the image most of the urls for "tax folder" have now been 301'd to not include /product or /category but moz is still showing them with the old url structure. BTW our site is minespress.com 2KdGcPL.png

Top Pages metrics in OSE
Not sure if this is an API question or a feature request, but wondering if other folks had a way to do this: In OSE there is the dashboard for a specific URL that is entered into the search bar, giving you metrics at a glance on it. But I often find myself going to the Top Pages tab to get a sense of the domain as a whole. First off, wouldn't it be nice/is there a way to build my own "dashboard" based on info from that section? Specifically, I'd love to see at a glance the number of "top pages" that exist (many websites are well under the 10,000 page limit for this section, but there's no quick glance metric showing that) One thing that would be very handy for me would be a breakdown of HTTP Status info across the whole domain, as being able to see the raw total of different statuses (and the percentages of each based on the total number of pages) would be really helpful, giving me a sense if I should dig into any issues before exporting the list to CSV. I've found myself needing this type of info for multiple domains at once, so what would be REALLY cool would be a Google Doc where I could paste in different domains in one column, and this info being returned in other columns. I've searched through the Q&A and didn't find anything like this, and I didn't know how easy/hard any of this would be to do, but I was wondering if anyone else had a sense of how to solve this problem and how feasible it would be to tackle it. Thanks!
