Long list or paginated pages

Hi peeps,

I am just interested in this from a usability POV and to see what you would prefer to see when you are met with a page that has multiple options. Lets say that the page looks like a list of services, each clearly marked out in its own segment, but there are 50-60 options that match your requirements.

Do you like to keep scrolling, or would you prefer to take what is there and then move on if you feel you want to dig deeper? Would you like to see a long list, of have the options loaded in as you get to them?

If I had to choose between these two - yes, scrolling. But it's just my opinion.

Do A/B testing experiment for that page with Google analytics - it will help you more than just one answer from random guy

Just fyi, it's a client page that already exists and there are only two options that are not open for discussion: scolling or clicking next to see more.

So that's one for scrolling?

Neither. I would try to group/categorize them. If this is not possible at all, then probably scrolling.

Hi there.

Well, my friend, nobody in the world likes scrolling, that's why there are lots of statistical case studies about above-the-fold view and how important it is. I believe that the number is around 80% of users don't scroll. However, it's not true for mobile users - they are "trained" to scroll.

So, my answer would be no, don't use a lot of scrolling, if possible, leave everything above the fold or use something like typeform.com style.
