Disavow straightaway? - Urgent
-
Is there any implication with disavowing straightaway from Google's perspective?
I know good practice is to request removal from the web host, however I don't have the time to contact and process the requests.
Any thoughts?

All of them except Ahrefs comes with "free" versions and you can export almost everything.
-
Do you need subscriptions from all of those tools to export backlinks? I thought the free accounts limited the view unless you paid. Do you have a way around it?
-
I used more sophisticated but it's look similar.
You need to get all links from SearchConsole, OSE, Ahrefs, Majestic and Webmeup. From this list only Ahrefs require payment but you can find someone with subscription to get backlinks. Then dump everything in mega spreadsheet with URL only and remove duplicates. Later you need to use Marie Haynes formulas:
https://moz.com/blog/5-spreadsheet-tips-for-manual-link-audits
and create list of domains with backlinks.Domains with TF <1 and ref. domains <5 can be disavowed w/o even looking on them. They're trash.
And later you need to do manual inspection link-by-link and domain-by-domain to see is it legit or doesn't. You also can look whois data and how Google sees this site using cache. I also don't like the private whois registrations. And if there is difference between crawler see vs. user - "this isn't domain i'm looking for".
Of course this is time intensive method. But you can split to few persons (using different IPs!) to speedup checking. One sheet is filled then you can see who to disavow or keep. And next recheck you only need to add new backlinks and do check only on them.

Thank you
Most of them are at best very low quality, with one or two that are worse.
I may have made the odd mistake but I'm fairly certain I'm at least 80% accurate.
I used, trust flow, circulation flow, domain authority, spam score, checked if the site was indexed by Google and did a visual relevance check. What you think to my method?
-
Yes - just sent disavow file but also try to clean some of them later. I found that i can clean around 5-10% of spam links after communication.
Only implication can be messing your link profile after disavowing and sudden drop of links. They can drop your ranking too and you can't recover so quick as you wish.

I've removed many manual penalties by submitting only a disavow file. Google can't really track which links were removed by you or naturally so they can't consider that when deciding on your reconsideration request.

Disavow backlinks
Is there any benefit in requesting manual removal over using the Google disavow file? Or is it just extra work for little result. I.e. is it better to just disavow straightaway and not mess around? Thanks

How To Implement Pagination Properly? Important and Urgent!
I have seen many instructions but I am still uncertain. Here is the situation We will be implementing rel prev rel next on our paginted pages. The question is: Do we implement self referencing canonical URL on the main page and each paginated page? Do we implement noindex/follow meta robots tag on each paginated page? Do we include the canonical URL for each paginated page in the sitemap if we do not add the meta robots tag? We have a view all but will not be using it due to page load capabilities...what do we do with the viewl all URL? Do we add meta robots to it? For website search results pages containing pagination should we just put a noindex/follow meta robots tag on them? We have seperate mobile URL's that also contain pagination. Do we need to consider these pages as a seperate pagination project? We already canonical all the mobile URL's to the main page of the desktop URL. Thanks!

Site recovery after manual penalty, disavow, SSL, Mobile update = but dropped again in May
I have a site that has had a few problems over the last year. We had a manual penalty in late 2013 for bad links, some from guest blogs and some from spammy sites. Reconsideration requests had me disavow almost all of the incoming links. Later in 2014, the site was hit with link injection malware and had another manual penalty. That was cleared up and manual penalty removed in Jan 2015. During this time the site was moved to SSL, but there were some redirect problems. By Feb 2015 everything was cleared up and a an updated disavow list was added. The site recovered in March and did great. A mobile version was added in April. About May 1st rankings dropped again. Traffic is about 40% off it's March levels. Recently I read that a new disavow file will supersede an old one, and if all of the original domains and URLs aren't included in the new disavow file they will no longer be disavowed. Is this true? If so, is it possible that a smaller disavow file uploaded in Feb would cause rankings to drop after the May 3 Quality update? Can I correct this by disavowing all the previously disavowed domains and URLs? Any advice for determining why the site is performing poorly again? We have well written content, regular blogs, nothing that seems like it should violate the Google guidelines.

What Links to Disavow?
I am looking through my website's link profile that I pulled directly from Google Webmaster Tools. What is the best way to determine the links to disavow? Maybe the Webmaster Tools list is not the best list for this process but I really need to clean up the links that are hurting the site's SEO. Does anyone have any insight?

Do allow or disavow, that is the question!
We're in the middle of a disavow process and we're having some difficulty deciding whether or not to disavow links from Justia.com and prweb.com - justia.com alone is giving us 23,000 links with just 76 linked pages. So, to allow, or disavow? That's the question! What do you think guys? Thank you. John.

Disavow Tool - WWW or Not?
Hi All, Just a quick question ... A shady domain linking to my website is indexed in Google for both example.com and www.example.com. If I wan't to disavow the entire domain, do I need to submit both: domain:www.example.com domain:example.com or just: domain:example.com Cheers!
