Hi team! I was just wondering if there’s any plans for the forums to move to a more mobile friendly format? I love reading the latest questions and advice however I’m typically on the go. Cheers, Casey

Moz is flagging my callto: links as 404s. I "fixed" with tel: & nofollow and lost 2 DA. Help?
I changed the callto: links to tel: links in the footer and nofollowed them and my domain authority dropped 2. I'm assuming this is because we lost 2.8K "external links" Advice on how to remove 404s for Phone#'s without affecting DA? Will just using the tel: format stop Moz from crawling them as 404's? It was adding links to the 404 list that look like this: www.ocp.org/missals/callto:########### I assumed it was because to the crawlers the links looked like relative links this is what our links look like now: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>tel:###########" rel="nofollow" title="Call us">########### Old footer links: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>callto:###########" title="Call us">###########

External Link Detection Very Slow... why?
Hello. I'm new to MOZ and I'm now comparing it with ahrefs. I can't afford to have an account with all SEO tools that are out there, but I have to start somewhere. I really like MOZ a lot. However, there is one major issue - it updates backlinks every 3 weeks, or what? I registered to ahrefs trial today just to make sure I don't regret in the future that I bought the first service that I tried (MOZ), and I was amazed that ahrefs showed all my website's backlinks straight away. MOZ is saying that next scheduled update for Externals Links is going to be on Sept 14.... emm sorry? My trial will run out by then. It now shows exactly 0. Pricing is nearly the same and in Today's fast paced world ahrefs seems to tick the ever so important backlinks quality box. So here is my question. Dear MOZ, are you going to speed up the backlink data delivery? Are you working on it, or you think it's just ahrefs's gimmick? If you can promise faster speeds, I'll be happy to stay subscribed with MOZ and wait because I like the UX a lot. However, at the end of the day speed is important and if my client requests the latest report, I don't want to tell him that he needs to wait a month for it. Many thanks for reading and I hope to hear back from someone.

Suggestion to Improve Moz's Link Data
Hello All. The recent Index update (29th January) seems to have produced quite a few shocks to Moz Pro users. Index updates always cause panic and joy every time they are released. However, I feel this is a big improvement that could be made. In this last index, the DA for my site has remained the same. I was expecting a rise, simply because I have been doing some link building since October and was expecting the results to start showing around this time. However, the link metrics for my site looked worse this month than ever before. The index clearly didn't crawl sites and pages that it has crawled the last couple of indexes, and I noticed a few links disappeared from the metrics altogether, links that I know still exist. So I have a suggestion... If Moz has collected link data in previous indexes, can it not preserve that data rather than starting afresh with every new index. Regular checks could be conducted on existing link data to identify expired or broken links, but to disregard them and start anew with every index seems a little odd. That way, Moz would have much more accurate and comprehensive link data which would help to avoid the DA inaccuracy, and provide users with a better measure of how their site is performing against the rest of the web. This may be naive because I do not know the technical side to index updates. Any thoughts, advice, suggestions etc would be appreciated.

MOZ should add a toxic link checker tool to their incredible arsenal of SEO tools. Seems like a no brainer.
Checking the health of a back links especially on new accounts is crucial. MOZ wants to be a one stop SEO tool shop and I think this would certainly go a long way in cementing that.
