Is there any reason to have /en on your website if your website is only in English? Or is it worth having in case you are preparing to translate into other languages?
And is there any advantage to being:
en.example.com over example.com/en

As per Mark, if you are only planning on using one sole language then I would not bother creating a sub directory for your site to reside in when it would sit best in the root.
If however, eventually you plan to branch out again and become a more global operator I would keep your master site in the root and then branch out for supplementary languages e.g .com/fr or .com/de depending upon what you have planned for the future.
Again as per Mark, sub folders are my preferred option rather than sub domains, but both have their pros and cons.
If you do indeed look to branch out also look into serving alternate language set up and definitely check out this article from Search Engine Land on multilingual sites. a great resource.

Well as Mark rightly said you only use language initials if your site is multi language. Moreover, for English site you never use such initials as it will not make any difference though kind of misleading by giving impression to visitors you may have this site in other languages and they are browsing English version of that. If visitor want to access site in other language then there is no option.
I would urge to you refrain of doing that unless you have multi language site. -

You would only use this for a website with multiple languages. So I can’t think of any reason to use /en/ for an English only site.About the subfolders vs subdomains, there is a lot of info about this topic online. I would use subfolder instead of subdomains so you have more benefit from the root domain. Google sees subdomains like en.domain.com as a totally new domain. Random /feed 404 error from a wordpress site
My Moz Analytics report shows a 404 error on a page which I think should not exist at all. The URL is http://henryplumbingco.com/portfolio-item/butler-elementary/feed/. When I checked webmaster tools, it looks like there are a number of random /feed urls throwing 404 errors. I am using WordPress and the Enfold theme. Anyone know how to get rid of these errors? Should I use an acronym in my URL?
I know that Google understands various acronyms. Example: If I search for CRM System, it knows i'm searching for a customer relationship management system. However, will it recognize less known acronyms? I have a page geared specifically for SAP data archiving for human capital management systems. For those in the industry, they simply call it HCM. Here is how I view my options: Option #1: www.mywebsite.com/sap-data-archiving/human-capital-management Option #2: www.mywebsite.com/sap-data-archiving/hcm Option #3: www.mywebsite.com/sap-data-archiving/hcm-human-capital-management With option #3, i'm capturing the acronym AND the full phrase. This doesn't make my URL overly long either. Of course, in my content i'll reference both. What does everyone else think about the URL? -Alex

Form Only Pages Considered No Content/Duplicate Pages
We have a lot of WordPress sites with pages that contain only a form. The header, sidebar and footer content is the same as what's one other pages throughout the site. Each form page has a unique page title, meta description, form title and questions but the form title, description and questions add up to probably less than 100 words. Are these form pages negatively affecting the rankings of our landing pages or being viewed as duplicate or no content pages?

On my ecommerce site I am adding about 280 characters product category page headers to succinctly describe what the page is such as in the example below; MENS BRIEFS + TANGAS We stock a range of mens briefs from leading designer brands that offer popular cuts and fabrics such as mens cotton briefs. You will also discover styles that are a little more risqué for those looking for something more daring in sexy mens briefs and tangas. I have added the following [title attribute] to this header text (MENS BRIEFS + TANGAS)so it displays the following title attribute text when you hover over it. My intention behind this is so that it enables me to provide visitors with access (via assistive reading software or hovering their cursor over the header text) to a bit more information, which they my find useful [title attribute text] - Mens briefs and tangas. These are possibly the most common and long established style of mens underwear, yet they still come in a variety of cuts and styles. The common feature amongst all men’s briefs is that they have a full rear panel that partly or entirely covers the bottom. I need some help...
I am completely perplexed here guys. I have accomplished all of the the things that the On- Page Analysis tool says that we need to perform as far as( Keyword laden page titles and webpages) yet the report comes back and gives the webpage a C and says that we still need to correct these issues. Using categories in Permalinks
