New WAF/CDN's
Only one offers a free plan also
I must be upfront and TAGFEE I am a partner of Imperva the company that owns Incapula.
Incapula now has a free offer on their content delivery network, of course, there are two catches.
- If your site Is encrypted a.k.a. Using SSL or https:// you must choose a paid plan.
- You do not get access to their phenomenal rewrite rules which can speed up your site quite a bit. Still, if you have no or no intention to use https this is better than CloudFlare when it comes to speed plus much better when it comes to security, but you must pay for the safety on both networks
The second content delivery network is not free. But worth mentioning.
StackPath is a new CDN/WAF built on MaxCDN's network. However, it offers you so much more for the base price of $20 month compared to what that would cost on MaxCDN hundreds of dollars a month.
This CDN is unique because you get so much for the money. I bring it up only because people browsing this will hopefully find this useful.
Hopefully, this is of use people checking out this question.
All the best,
Tom

I use MaxCDN at my place of work, it has proved itself to be very good, easy to set up and relatively inexpensive depending on the plan. As per Thomas and Thomas - CloudFlare is great as a free version.
-
- amazon Cloudfront is the best...
-
As mentioned by Thomas, I would really have a look at cloudflare, their free plan for me personally performs much better than other paid content delivery networks.
-
A free content delivery network the best one would be https://www.cloudflare.com/ is completely free and very high-quality & very simple to set up and will accelerate your site quite a bit. with a network that keeps growing, I would say if you're looking for completely free this is the only way to go. Here's a larger photo of the one below.

**The same goes for Incapsula.com free plan, but if you do not log in often enough, they will turn it off on a free program. If you get their base paid offering, it is an incredible CDN as well. **
If you're looking to spend tiny bit more money but want a pure CDN to check out keyCDN CDNFi, CDN 77 Max CDN Rackspace CDN uses Akamai, and it's a bargain.
If Looking for great content delivery networks fastly, CacheFly.com, edge cast, Turbobytes

If you are looking for a higher quality CDN unique just content delivery CDN or information on CDN's, this is a list of reviews capabilities of each CDN and the cost and comparison
I hope this helps,
Tom

Page is an A but does not rank extremely good… Any ideas?
Hi! My page werkzeug-kasten.com is not ranking the way it should for "Webdesign Freiburg" on google Germany. Although it receives an A it is only seen on page 2 although the competition is not that hard. Do you have any ideas why that is and what I could improve? Best regards Marc

Geo-Redirect: good idea or not?
Hi Mozzers, The background: I have this very corporate .com domain which is used worldwide. Next to that, we have another .com domain which is specifically created for the US visitors. Within the organic rankings, we notice that our corporate domain is ranking much better in the US. Many visitors are arriving on this domain. As it is a corporate domain being used worldwide, they get lost. My questions: I know there are ways to redirect by location. Would it be smart to automatically redirect US visitors for the corporate domain to the commercial US-specific domain? Is it possible to only redirect US visitors and leave the website as it is for visitors from other countries. Won't this harm the corporate website (organically) worldwide? If this would be a good idea, any recommended plugins or concrete procedures? Thank you so much for helping me out!

Is Q&A on a website good or bad for SEO?
I am considering adding a Q&A section to my website and I have a few questions for you PROs!: is it a good thing for SEO? Or a potential pitfall for SEO? If it is used often and users post relevant topics related to the website content, will it help the overall DA and websites SERP performance? Are there inherent risks for website security when using a Q&A? Are there any other questions I should be asking? I am using Joomla! 3.0 with Stackideas Easy discuss/easy social. Thanks for any advice! BB

Same-server, Same-Market, Micro-Sites backlinks.. good or bad?
Hi there, We are a real estate listings portal and we also create micro sites for real estate agents. These micro-sites are hosted on our same server, similar in structure, different in design... different in content. They all link to us but not within each other. They all link to us because they have to access our login system in order to manage their property listings on their own micro sites (which updates on our own website too). (Also as marketing for others to see that we have built their sites with our engine). Would all these backlinks be considered to be coming from the same c-block? Thus, being sub-optimal for our SEO efforts? Should we worry about grouping them and giving them separate IP addresses? Should we add nofollow tags to these links or are there any other things you would worry about? Many thanks.

How Many Words in Content for Good SEO?
I have heard it's best to have 400+ words of content for strong SEO per page. I believe this is true for the most. I have a project in mind, however, that I am considering doing 100-200 words of content per page. This is for a glossary of terms for my industry, where I have a unique page for each term that describes what that term means w/ 1 image and a few links to related products. Is having just 100-200 words going to be enough? Each page will still be unique, original content. Or is it best to really try for longer articles? In other words, is there a general rule for # of words per page for search engines to see the page as valuable and unique and to give it good ranking? Give me a BIG THUMBS UP if you found this question useful. It won't cost you anything! Thanks!

Would switching domain names be a good move?
Hi All, I'm trying to decide whether to switch to a more relevant domain name for an SEO project. For a while now I've already been doing the standard SEO work on an existing website, content optimization, link building etc but I can't help feeling I won't ever get the full benefits of SEO until I also change the domain name. The current website is for a law firm in new jersey called sandz.net which obviously has no immediate impression it is for a law firm so I'm looking at setting up a new domain and doing 301s to a new site. My concerns are that as its a highly competitive market, I've initiated the campaign to target local searches so I'm wondering just how beneficial buying a domain name with the term lawyer or attorney which actually be. And of course the ideal domain names such as njlawyer, NJattorney .COMs are all taken so I would be looking at perhaps a .ORG with the intention that all printed material the firm has still contains their original name, sandz.net and by word of mouth they should tell people their site is sandz.net as its easy to remember but for the sake of SEO and links then these should all be focused on a new domain.. Any thoughts appreciated.. Thanks
