How can I be sure Moz Campaign for blog is working?
-
I set up a Moz Campaign to track my blog domain (made a separate one for our website) and added in keywords I've optimized our blog posts for. I've spent about 2 months optimizing pages and there's been no change in the numbers I see in the dashboard (specifically Search Visibility and Top National Keywords) and Rankings module. It all basically says either 0 or '--'. I think I've set this campaign up right because the website campaign has been changing and showing different results in the same amount of time.
I'm going to ask the stupid question -- is this because I've set up the blog campaign wrong, my site is blocking Moz from accessing blog data or my SEO efforts simply aren't working?
Please help. I need a sanity check here. Thank so much in advance!

Not really my place to say this... But why not book one of Moz's free onboarding sessions? They'll give you a walk through of all the toolset's features and help you understand the metrics a bit more.
Best of all... it's free!

Hey there - Sam from Moz's Help Team here!
This can be a little hard to pinpoint without looking at your specific campaign, but here goes! We currently only track rankings within the top 50 results, so any URL that is not within the top 50 ranking results for the keyword you are looking at will show the ranking as "--" which means no data.
Our Search Visibility score represents your overall ranking performance for your tracked keywords. It’s calculated by:
- Taking all of your keywords and the associated URL’s position and applying a CTR for each position.
- The CTRs are then summed
- This number is then divided by the total number of keywords.
If your Search Visibility score is 0%, that means you have no pages ranking in the top 50 spots in the SERPs.
I hope this helps to clarify! If you'd like us to take a look at your campaign specifically, please shoot over an email to help@moz.com so we can dive in:)

Moz Bar doesn't show any data and keeps asking me to log in when actually I'm logged in.
Hi all, I've been using Moz Bar for years. It ran well until about three weeks ago. It suddenly failed to show the DA and PA of sites that I open after I log in. And it keeps asking me to log in when I did. I tried to uninstall the Mozbar extension and reinstalled it several times. Nothing worked. I also tried to uninstall Chrome and clear the cookies, still, nothing changed. Did anyone experience this? How do you solve it and make it run on the track? Any information will be appreciated. Hello, 2 days ago I found there are about 1200 of 403 errors by Google WMT when I tried to fetch my domain - Please see attached HTTP/1.1 403 Access Forbidden Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html ETag: "" Server: Set-Cookie: ASPSESSIONIDSSBARTSD=BEHMJHJBKJOEJEALECNNIPFH; path=/; HttpOnly X-Powered-By: Date: Tue, 18 Feb 2014 13:54:10 GMT Content-Length: 1233 <title>403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.</title> Server Error <fieldset> 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. </fieldset> I ran a complete report using MOZ but I was shocked not see any 4xx , 5xx errors. Google: 246 of 404 errors No Google, Yahoo or Bing blocking HTTP status code: ALL 200 301 redirect: none? I have done about 2500 over 4 years. The website is losing indexed pages. I'm not sure what's going and which numbers to trust. Please help. Thank you. Adam

How to make sense of data for this keyword (Moz Keyword vs. Google KW Planner)
The keyword "auto immune disorder" has an avg monthly (local/US) search of 880 in Google KW Planner with "low" competition In Moz, the same keyword has an avg monthly (local/US) search of 5 with a KW difficulty of 71%. I realize that the competition in Google KWP is based on ads, but is there a discrepancy when the search volume is so different in Google vs. Moz/Bing? Based on the above data, it seems like it would make sense to do a Google Adword (high search volume, low competition) instead of trying to rank organically...am I on the right track here? Thanks!

Moz Report-Canonical
Moz crawl reported in issues: Rel Canonical: using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which url should be seen as canonical. But we have sorted out this a long time ago. Is there a way where can I verify if the moz crawl is wrong or if we really do not specify the canonical?
