Need advice on the better URL structure to go with

I am rebuilding our existing website on a new platform and need advice on which URL structure would be the most ideal. The following examples are of a product that we have with a very long page title. Not all of our products have titles this long, but enough of them do to cause some concern. I was also wondering if I should end the url with file type .html or if leaving it out is better. Thanks in advance!
OPTION 1. this example just uses the root domain and the entire product title separated by dashes
OPTION 2. this example uses the crawl path as well as the entire product title
OPTION 3. this example uses the crawl path and just the part number at the end since the folders already contain all the keywords necessary

I have to agree with Chris. Option 3 is the only one that my eyes didn't jumble all the characters together when glancing at it. While you definitely want some of the keywords in your URL for SEO purposes, short and sweet is definitely the optimal choice. I would definitely go with option 3 over the others.
As for the .html, leave that off. More modern websites are not utilizing the .html on their website URL so this will help make your website seem more up to date to users who might not know that much about URLs, etc. Good luck!

Option 3 seems to be the most aesthetically pleasing to the eye and shortest option. For SEO purposes the shorter URL is often the best option because the keywords would potentially be displayed in the URL preview and be highlighted in bold. It's also not advisable to repeat keywords as in your other options. Leaving out the .html extension is the most common practice today and makes your website look more modern. Hope this helps you make a decision.

Canonical URL Tag Usage
I have a large website, almost 1500 pages that each market different keywords for the trucking logistics industry. I don't really understand the new Canonical URL Tag USAGE. They say to use it so the page is not a duplicate but the page that MOZ is call for to have the tag isn't a duplicate. It promotes 1 keyword that no other page directly promotes. Here is the page address, now what tag would I put up in the HEAD so google don't treat it as a duplicate page. http://www.freightetc.com/c/heavyhaul/heavyhaul.php 1. Number 1 the actual page address because I want it treated like its own page or do I have to use #2 below? 2. I don't know why I would use #2 as I want it to be its own page, and get credit and listed and ranked as its own page. Short URL's vs Optimised URL's
Howdy Mozzers! What are your thoughts on short URL's vs Optimised URL's. For example if a website currently sells wood furniture and wants to target the keyword "Wood Furniture For Sale", which URL would be preferable: Short URL: www.domain.com/wood-furniture Optimised URL: www.domain.com/wood-furniture-for-sale The website also uses facet navigation and selected attributes are added in a fixed order sequence after the category. For example if Cane is selected as wood type: Short URL: www.domain.com/wood-furniture/Cane Optimised URL: www.domain.com/wood-furniture-for-sale/Cane Which one do you prefer (between the short URL and optimised URL) and why? URL contain special character
Hello, I am using URLs which contain special character such as ', ". I found in the Google Webmaster Tool report errors related URL contain ' character. Google have indexed partial URL from beginning to ' character and cut off the rest of URL. For example: I submitted URL www.example.com/vietnam-visa-corp'-test-page.html, then google report error NOT FOUND for URL www.example.com/vietnam-visa-corp I don't know why and how to fix it? Need help regarding On page issue for dating site?

Which Canonical URL Tag tag should we remove?
Hi guys, We are in the process of optimizing the pages of our new site. We have used the 'on page' report card feature in the Seomoz Pro Campaign analyser. Does anyone have any advise on which one I should ask the developer to remove? I am not sure how to determine the relative importance of either link.
