I need to know about Just Discovered Links
-
Hi
I have 2 websites,
1)www.abc.com DA 20 PA 29 RD 6 Total Links 226
and
2)www.123.com DA35 PA 46 RD 34 Total links 11,075
Every post i published on my 1st website shown in Just discovered links, whereas in 2nd website, it is not appeared.
Now, my question is, what i do to have my all posts shown in just discovered links for my second website.
From every aspect my second website is stronger than first one.
Awaiting answer.

Hi Tawny,
I am having the same issue as Abdul_Majid. The information you provided about feed.ly is outdated. The feed.ly link shortener has been disabled for some time now. In fact, there is no way to tweet our feedly.com links.
Can you please provide a more detailed approach of how to use feedly.com to index our links in JDL? My site TheDigitalBridges.com does not get all of it's pages included. I tweet like crazy and have lots of followers, but not all my pages get included. In fact, when I go to the top pages tab - there are none! This is a high quality site that used to have a DA of 46. Now, it's DA 31. This is not right. It has to do with the indexing of the Moz crawler and there is no way to get proper information on how to get indexed.
Please give me an answer that works besides feed.ly and waiting.

You missed my question! Here is once again

You shouldn't need a Feedly account in order for our tools to find those links. It's more likely just a matter of time until our crawler discovers those links.

Hi Tawny,
Thanks for the response. But for the first website I didn't tweet feedly links, however I tried doing tweets feedly links for my second website, but the result not yet changed.
Is it necessary to have Feedly Pro or Feedly Team account to get results in JDL?
Regards

Yep! Looks like it's now https://feedly.com. Sorry about that! Took me by surprise!
-
Hi Tawny,
I just went to the feed.ly domain, apparently it's for sale? http://feed.ly/
Am I right in guessing it's actually: https://feedly.com
-
Hi there, Tawny from Moz's Help Team here!
Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion!
All of the links that end up in Just Discovered Links come from tweeted feed.ly links. That is the only source we use to power Just Discovered Links. We get our data for that tool from feed.ly directly, and they can provide us with what the associated full link is, which is how we show the full link in the tool (because the feed.ly version of the link wouldn't be very informative). All of the Just Discovered Links come from URLs that were tweeted as a feed.ly.
I hope that helps provide a bit of clarity! If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us a note over at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to answer for you!

Disavow 60% of the external links?
Hi guys, We just discovered that our website got a 16% Spam Score based on MOZ reports, while less than 1 year ago we had a good 1% if I'm not mistaken. Therefore we ran an audit of the external links to our website and discovered that about 60% of them are irrelevant such as: referral page not available anymore (or not found, or domain not accessible) irrelevant web directories for our business Impossible to contact the owner of these pages or remove the links towards our website.

Is the Disavow tool an acceptable option in this case? Could this lower our Spam Score and make a better impression in "Google's eyes"? 60% seems quite a lot of backlinks, but they are also not relevant, and we want to focus on creating better quality referrals in the next months. I would really appreciate an opinion on this, and how would you proceed in this case.0 -

(301 Redirect) Link Spam Score: 10/17
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a specific answer, so I'll give some specifics to help get some information. https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/links?site=http%3A%2F%2Fgpstrackit.com%2F&filter=&source=external&target=page&group=0&page=1&sort=page_authority&anchor_id=&anchor_type=&anchor_text=&from_site= After looking through Open Site Explorer we've noticed one of the links from login.gpstrackit.net has a 10/17 spam score. https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/spam-analysis/flags?subdomain=login.gpstrackit.net This link is a 301 redirect from a previous login URL, so users can be redirected to our current site and login from there. I don't know how to approach this situation or what the correct fix is. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Open Site Explorer -> Just Discovered -> Internal Links: Only shown 1 url link per day
Hi, We have a page that have like 10-15 new content/pages per day.
Link Explorer | | Inspiringinterns
eg. domain.com/post-id-01/, omain.com/post-id-02/, omain.com/post-id-03/ etc
But somehow, under Just-Discovered, internal links only show 1 per day when it suppose to display like 10-15.
The layout for each pages is exact same except for the content changes and the url's ID changes. Our competitor on the other hand, they have like 5 new page per day, but somehow Moz shows their internal links as 25 per days. Each of their new url have 4 more prefix number.
Eg:
new-page-01?track=990
new-page-01?track=991
new-page-01?track=992 etc
The above example url is technically as 1 page if without the "?" affix. Whiles all our new pages/url have unique id, but Moz only show 1 a day. Please advise on how to get Moz to shows all the new pages in Just-Discovered (internal link). Thanks, Cam0 -
Just Discovered Links Are Down for ~2-3 Days
UPDATE 12/01/15: This issue is now resolved and Just Discovered Link data is back. Sadly, I've got bad news. Due to an error we made (literally a typo on a curl command), Just Discovered Links in Open Site Explorer will be unavailable for 2-3 days. The data was actually lost, but we're re-indexing all those links now and they should be back in working order by Monday. NOTE: this only affects link counts and links listed in the "Just Discovered" sections of OSE. No links in the main index nor any metrics (PA/DA/etc) are affected. Our sincere apologies - we're going to build mechanisms to prevent this for the future.

Why does OSE show different link equity for homepage with and without trailing slash?
Hi all, I am working with a developer who believes OSE (Open Site Explorer) is flawed. His reasoning is that OSE shows completely different link equity and domain authority for these two URLs [company name is purposely withheld]: http://www.mydomain.com/us/ and http://www.mydomain.com/us NOTE: http://www.mydomain.com/us has been properly 301-redirecting to http://www.mydomain.com/us/ for years. The developer's argument is that the URL that is being 301-redirected shouldn't have any link equity at all, therefore OSE is flawed. Here is the response I would like to give him. Please feel free to poke holes, provide feedback or flat out correct me if I am wrong: Dear inquisitive developer, Any URL that is being linked to by another site that has link equity will get link equity passed to it. This is true even if the URL is a page that doesn't exist. What it can't do (if it doesn't exist) is then pass that link equity on to another page. Moz's OSE is showing separate link equity for the two versions of this URL because other sites have linked to both versions. The fact that one 301-redirects to the other is good and ensures that link equity from one is passing to the preferred URL. The 301-redirect does not, however, remove link equity from the first URL, but rather passes the existing link equity from one to the other. Consequently, Moz's OSE is not flawed, but rather is displaying the link equity of one URL that is benefiting the other via a 301-redirect. Sincerely, Dana

Discrepancy between OSE internal links and Webmaster Tools
Hi, We have been attempting to increase our rankings for our key term for a number of months now, and we are seeing an unusual discrepancy between OSE and Webmaster Tools that we believe may be causing us harm. OSE shows our homepage, www.unionroom.com, as having only 27 internal links (only three of these aren't 301's too), whereas Webmaster Tools is showing just over 1,500 internal links to the homepage. The three pages that OSE are displaying as linking back to the homepage are the homepage, our blog and our accessibility page. These pages are all ran off the same template and have the same header and footer (with three home links spread across header and footer). You can see our confusion! Is this a case of OSE's stats being incorrect (the website has been live for ~6 months) or is there an issue with our in-linking structure that we are missing? Thanks!
