Help with force redirect HTTP to HTTPS

Hi, I'm unsure of where I should be putting the following code for one of my Wordpress websites so that they redirect all HTTP requests to HTTPS.
RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]This is my current htaccess file:

Hello. You would put it somewhere after # BEGIN WordPress, depending on when you would want the https redirect to happen. The first settings (WP Rocket) basically optimize your website's speed. You would also want to change the settings from the admin panel and also force the admin to SSL. You can read more here -> https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ssl-https-wordpress/. Moving to https with a bunch of redirects my programmer can't handle
Hi Mozzers, I referred a client of mine (last time) to a programmer that can transition their site from http to https. They use a wordpress website and currently use EPS Redirects as a plugin that 301 redirects about 400 pages. Currently, the way EPS redirects is setup (as shown in the attachment) is simple: On the left side you enter your old url, and on the the right side is the newly 301'd url. But here's the issue, since my client made the transition to https, the whole wordpress backend is setup that way as well. What this means is, if my client finds another old http url that he wants to redirect, this plugin only allows them to redirect https to https. As of now, all old http to https redirects STILL work even though the left side of the plugin switched all url's to a default HTTPS. But my client is worried the next plugin update he will lose all http to https redirects. While asking our programmer to add all 400 redirects to .htaccess, he states that's too many redirects and could slow down the website. Well, we don't want to lose all 400 301's and jeopardize our SEO. Question: what does everyone suggest as an alternative solution/plugin to redirect old http urls to https and future https to https urls? Thank you all! Ol8km

Our Web Site Is candere.com. Its PA and back link status are different for https://www.candere.com, http://www.candere.com, https://candere.com, and http://candere.com. Recently, we have completely move from http to https.
How can we fix it, so that we may mot lose ranking and authority.

Redirect root to detailed page

This redirect has me racking my brain
I cannot tell if something is wrong with my domain redirect or if it is some default behavior by Chrome. I made a short video, I used Moz first since they are using an SSL certificate too. But the gist is immediately when I type in the address it flashes www, then redirects to the non www. domain. Because of how its happening so quick I cannot tell if this is just default Chrome behavior or if I have the DNS set up incorrectly. Here is the video. http://screencast.com/t/UDHmdTCbQv

Redirect old "not found" url (at http) to new corresponding page (now at https)
My least favorite part of SEO 😉 I'm trying to redirect an old url that no longer exists to our new website that is built with https. The old url: http://www.thinworks.com/palm-beach-gardens-team/ New url: https://www.thinworks.com/palm-beach-gardens/ This isn't working with my standard process of the quick redirection plugin in WP or through htaccess because the old site url is at http and not https. Help with Effective Meta Description

DNS or 301 Website Redirect
We are running a marketplace site, so we have thousands of vendors selling their products on our site. Each vendor has a Profile page and we are soon to launch a premium store-front that is white label. Many of these vendors will want to point a custom url to their premium store-front (which is a sub domain of the marketplace) and we are trying to get an understanding of how we should instruct them to point their url in a way that will give the main marketplace site the seo juice. We also want to understand what will show up in the address bar. Will it be their url or our sub domain? Will any of the marketplace seo juice boost their url local listing status?

After the 301 redirect
Hi all, A quick question, after you have setup your 301 re-directs in .htaccess - is it necessary to keep your content in the original domains directory? My thinking is that requests do get as far as referencing the directory, thus it should be safe to delete all the files on the old domain? Thanx!
