What keywords should I use in my campaign.
-
I am a chiropractor. I only compete against web sites in my town. Should my key words be neck pain, back pain? Or should it be neck pain Bloomington Illinois and low back pain Bloomington Illinois? I am referring to the campaigns I just started. (I am new)

Yes, I have done all that, Thank you. I just wasn't sure about the campaign. Both aswers were very helpful.

Hi Robert ,
I would go with the following keywrods:
chiropractor Bloomington
back and neck pain relief
neck pain specialist
neck pain specialist Bloomington
back pain specialist Bloomington
chiropractic clinic Bloomington
pain specialistsDefinitely you will need to setup Google Plus Business page as well as Facebook page and Twitter
The social media presence will increase authority of your new site and business overall
Regards
Dmitriy

Hi Robert and welcome
I would definitely include Bloomington Illinois as searches are going to be for your specific local service.
Have you checked out the Google Adwords Keywords tool for some suggestions yet (not that it's the be all and end all). I just had a quick check and some suggestions were along the lines of 'back pain specialist', 'back pain clinic', 'back doctor', that sort of thing (with the local town name included).
I would also strongly suggest setting up a Google Plus Business page and linking it to your website - when you have set up your page you will see an option in your 'about' section to do this.
Google Pages are showing up more and more in local search, so a Google Page is pretty essential. It should also be well optmised, i.e. full profile details and a rich description of the services you provide.
Good luck and if you need any further help with that page, let me know!

Hi Robert. Welcome to the wonderful world of SEO!
You should use the location based keywords that mention your town, because these include the general keywords anyway. So "neck pain Bloomington" covers both scenarios.

Keyword rankings and main company tagline not matching
I have a question about keywords rankings and on page keywords. I don't rank very well for the keyword "Nutcracker". But, my tag line is "Your one stop Nutcracker and Ballet Gifts source". One of my most important keywords is "Nutcrackers" (see the s 😉 ) and I hot hit really hard in my rankings with the google algorithm update. Almost a 30 position difference from one day to the next. Am I shooting myself in the foot by having Nutcracker being in the forefront, even though my chances of ranking for that are very low as there is high competition with more actual "The Nutcracker" related content. I do have the word "nutcrackers" on my home page...but all of a sudden I feel like i'm wasting space, or I should have made the tagline "Your one stop Nutcrackers and Ballet Gifts source". It just doesn't sound as good. I just recently dove headfirst into SEO and moz, so I consider myself a noob, but I learn quite quickly. Thank you for your help! Are labels useful in managing keywords in SEOMoz Campaigns?
I am using SEOMoz for only one domain. Should I track keywords under only one campaign, or should I utilize the different campaigns for different types of keywords under the same domain? Is it easier to keep all keywords for a domain in one campaign? Is it helpful to assign labels to keywords within the campaign? What types of labels should I create?

In Open Site Explorer is it possible to use wildcards?
If I have a section on my website called lists with articles in there can I use wildcards in Open Site Explorer to find how many backlinks all articles in that section have - and ideally which pages are most linked to? Something like www.example.com/lists/* to give number of backlinks to all articles in that website section and which are the most highly linked to. Would be a great feature to have! Cheers Siimon

Can I exclude a sub-domain from SEOMoz campaigns?
We have recently implemented a white label site that is on a sub-domain. The site employs noindex on most of the pages I imagine due to duplicate content concerns on other white label versions of the site. It has led to a spike of over 14 thousand notices on our report. Is there a way to exclude a sub-domain from the SEOMoz scans and reports?

How long has the keyword difficulty tool had these limits in place?
While working against a tight deadline, I was surprised to see the following message: "We're sorry. Currently we are only able to offer results for 300 keywords per user per day. Please come back tomorrow" How long has this limit been in place and is the limit listed anywhere during the signup process? I rarely use this tool for more than 10-20 keywords at a time, so I have not run into this issue before.
