Can you do custom date comparisons in Moz?
-
The only options I see in the tab is weekly and monthly. What if, for example, I wanted to compare stats over a 3 month period? Or compare stats from the same month last year? Is that possible? Or even the stats from the beginning of a campaign? Do you have to manually track them?

Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
Unfortunately, there's no way to compare what you see on the Dashboard for a Campaign to months past — the only options we have are Weekly and Monthly data, with the latest week or month respectively. If you wanted to compare what you see on the Dashboard over time, you would need to set up a Custom Report with the Dashboard module in it, and set that to run either every week or every month. That way you'll have a record of what those metrics said in the past, and you can compare two Custom Reports together to see change over time.I hope that helps! Moz was unable to crawl your site on Jun 22, 2020\. We were unable to access your site due to a page timeout on your robots.txt, which prevented us from crawling the rest of your site.
Site: www.kpmg.us Getting robots.txt timeout fail since 02/29/20. We've checked our server logs and see no errors. Went through all the steps of the "Troubleshooter". Updated robots.txt to allow rogerbot full access: User-agent: rogerbot

No backlinks reporting in MOZ OSE?
We have a bunch of links and none of them report in MOZ OSE. Does the MOZ OSE tool have a cache that takes a while to refresh? We have recently moved over to CloudFlare and since the move the numbers do not add up. Here is a link to a ahrefs screenshot. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. moz.png

Don't worry; it's processing now and will be available soon. Check out http://health.moz.com for the latest status on all of our tools. And thanks for your patience!" How much time it will take to show us the current results, so that we can properly work on it. Right now we are not able to measure any changes affected our site. Thanks, Om

Why Moz Doesn't See or Count Our Backlinks?
Hi Moz Community! We have been working hard to improve our Moz metrics, measuring against a high ranking competitor to help us set our goals. Our Majestic and Webmaster Tools find tens of thousands of external backlinks pointing to our domain. That's all well and good. Moz's Open Site Explorer, however, only finds 900 total links - including internal links! This being the case, we have worked diligently to build a variety of great external backlinks, creating Bitly links and encouraging clicks on those through social promotion. Yet, our competitor has over 7,000 external backlinks in Moz's index, while ours is not growing relative to their number of backlinks. Can anyone share with us what they do to tell Moz about their backlinks? We already know we have many more backlinks than our competitor, from trusted domains with good authority, yet it seems Moz is not discovering them. We just want to understand how to use these Moz metrics to create meaningful calls-to-action. Otherwise, it seems like a gargantuan waste of time, and our team has difficulty getting buy-in from our company to put time and assets toward tasks based on our Moz numbers!
