Multiple times same keyword or Lsi / synonym.

Hello,
I have a page with multiple bike tours on tour and under my image as anchor text linking to the different destination I have written the region + bike tour. Is it ok to write bike tour that many times bike tours or would it be better to write variations of it such as "Bordeaux biking, Strasbourg to Colmar by bike for (Alsace bike tour) or doesn't it matter ?
Thank you,

Not a problem!

Thank you for your detailed reply.
It is good to hear that using the same word "bike tour" won't hurt but that if I can put a little of variety it is good also. I agree with you about the fact that I have to be careful of the terms I use between motorcycling and conventional cycling. I am going look into it that and thank you for your answer, this is helpful.

So from this I am assuming that you have a page with a URL string somewhat like: "examplesite.com/bike-tours". On that page you have many different regional bike tours listed so a hypothetical example might be: "examplesite.com/bike-tours/texas-bike-tour".
I don't think it's really a huge problem to leave the URL like this, particularly as it would cover the singular and plural instances which is neat. Your question though moreso referenced the on-page content and link text.
Say you have your bike tours page ("examplesite.com/bike-tours") and then on the page you have four links to four separate bike tours:
- Texas Bike Tour
- California Bike Tour
- Florida Bike Tour
- NY Bike Tour
Obviously as you stated this is probably in some kind of grid format where you have image tiles and the text links underneath.
Since at the URL layer, you pretty have "bike tour"(s) covered off, if you can find **highly relevant synonym terminology that may be advantageous **(in terms of your ranking-relevance footprint). Whilst hammering home the same thing in the way you have stated is unlikely to garner any penalty, it doesn't do 'the most' in terms of connecting with the wider search-entity (more of a thing since Google Hummingbird, but realistically entities have always been around).
What about references of "bike touring" or "Touring Texas by Bike".
Be careful. Motorcycling and conventional cycling have muddy waters in terms of their search entities and you don't want too much overlap, or to connect too much with the wrong audience. Is this cycle bike touring or proper biking / road touring?
Think of some variants. Underneath each image but before the anchor-text based link, write up your own little snippets / descriptions of each bike-tour. Use that area to really diversify and include some synonym terms.
If you don't have time for all that, don't worry - I would be highly surprised if what you have done garnered any kind of penalty. Just remember: avoiding penalties doesn't mean 'good SEO'. It's the bare minimum!

Keyword rank drop, any advice?
Screen Shot 2021-08-26 at 19.02.18.png My search visibility dropped from around 13% a few weeks ago to 8.29%. I know that Google launched a bunch of updates in this past few weeks to ignore spam links, and I'm pretty sure that was the reason for the drop - some of the links to my site date back over 10 years and those links were garbage. Confusingly, at the same time, my Domain Authority went up by 1 to 32, then back down a week later. How can I restore my previous rank in the short term? We're designing a new site at the moment with vastly improved page speed, but I'm not sure what effect that will have yet (thespacecollective.com).

Keyword explorer
Hello, I was trying the keyword explore and got some questions : I first used it with all the search terms for the keyword "italy bike tours" and came across terms like this one "tuscany bike tours florence italy" Does it mean I have to include this exact expression in my content or do I just need to include somewhere in my content the words tuscany and florence ? Then I did the same search but this time with closely related keywords and the keyword explorer give me the word "pasticceria" or "tirrenia" are being closely related to the keyword italy bike ... How does the keyword explorer find those words because I don't see how those can be related... If someone could explain that would be awesome. Thank you,

Subpage ranking for homepage keyword
Hi all, May seem like a simple scenario and I might be missing something, but my subpage seems to be ranking for my main homepage keyword. The subpage PR is 28 and my domain authority is 17, how can I get my main home page to rank instead of the sub page (product page)? I want to stay away from exact match anchor text links, any suggestions?

URL Keyword Structure and Importance
Hey Guys, I've done quite a bit of research on this but still can't decide what the correct answer is, so was hoping the Moz community might be able to give some clarification. Say I have a URL **www.yourdomain.com/product/domain-names **is there any benefit in changing my site's backend structure (a relatively lengthly process) so the URL can read **www.yourdomain.com/domain-names **without the 'product' slug? I understand keywords in the URL can have a small impact on SEO, but does the positioning to this degree play any part? Any advice would be great.

Any advice for my website http://cvcsports.com?
I run the website http://cvcsports.com for myself and my parents. We offer custom varsity jackets for athletes/companies/etc. We rank first in Google for "letterman jackets" and near the top for "varsity jackets". I really want to reach #1 for "varsity jackets" (we were briefly #1 a few days ago but didn't stay there). Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to achieve that? Thanks in advance for the tips!
