Some of the employees have done by mistake on wrong spelling word and the only difference was:
difference of "a"
he was doing for over 3-4 months
the website has started coming on top for those wrong spelled keyword.
Now currently he has started to do on right word.
I have some questions:
Will my SEO for correct spelling keyword, be affected with this wrong spelling ?Can i save my efforts somehow ?
There was 2 more keywords attached with it ( whose spelling was correct ) , so will i have to submit more directories, articles etc so will my seo get affected for those keywords for overwork ?

Don't ask me how i understand this question but somehow i do. You had someone doing link building for you and they used the wrong anchor text.
Consider yourself lucky that he made that mistake, it won't result in your main keywords getting penalized.
Stop submitting to directories and spammy places and work on your onsite optimization and content.

SiteName Attribute Showing in Different Language in SERP
We are currently experiencing issues with our subdomain SiteName. Our parent company root domain is a Japanese language site, but we have an English subdomain that is for the United States primarily, and nearly rest of world for organic traffic. I must be doing something very wrong
Can I get some direct advice for a domain I am trying to optimize? The domain is mmfiles.com , it contains software submitted by users, 1500 different listings/pages with title/description, around 20 000 Google results for the domain, site is live since Dec 2008. Problem I am getting 20-40 hits from Google per day, it is pathetic. Best days were around June 2010, ~400 hits/day (if it matters). I am not sure what my problem is but with so much content and so little hits I must be doing something very wrong. Some possible problems and things I did: Google says I have 8 back links, that is not good but I know it's not all about links. SeoMoz says I have "too many on page links", can this be so important ? How should I redirect users landing on an url that moved? e.g software title can change, old location /12/photo-gallery/ is now /12/xml-photo-gallery/ , if user lands on old URL should I 301 redirect to new one? Because I can tell it's intention by the listing number. I used to 301 redirect, now I just display same content on any url string like /12/whatever/ I put rel="nofollow" on some internal pages like contact page, login, register, etc hoping to prevent diluting the page rank. If someone can have a look at the site and mention the most obvious seo problems it would be great.

Merge two different domains into one
Hi all SEO folks We want to merge two different domains into one. The products are similar to each other but domain1 is the online product and domain2 is the offline version of the product (new launced product). Both the domains have the domain Authority 47 but domain1 is optimized to the online product and most keywords (branded keywords) are in top 3 , where as the domain2 has been used for another concept which has now been closed down (beginning of may), and replaced with the offline product. To boost the sale of the offline product, we want to move the content from domain1(online product) to domain2(offline product), and off course we want to keep the ranking in top 3. So this is what I know I have to do: Redirect 301 from old content url to new content url, contact external domains and ask them to link to the new domain. Furthermore I read that it is important to place everything from the old site exactly the same way on the new site (and keep the content the same), and that way keep the internal url structure/linkjuice. This is were my question comes in. If we move all the content to the exactly same location on the new site, there will be way to many links on the frontpage and the new offline product won't have the dominating position.

Meta Tag Description Warning is wrong. Description is indexed and shows.
My crawl report shows that there are 22 Meta Tag Descriptions missing. I double checked on Google and it shows the meta descriptions just fine. What's wrong with the report or am I missing something?

Multiple (different) domains and canonicalisation
Hello, We've had experience with canonical tags for various domains before, such as tidying up product categories etc... However, can anyone point me to any guidelines about different domains using canonicalisation. For example: If I had the following sites, all with identical content - exampledomain.com completelydifferentdomain.net anothertotallydifferentdomain.com With canonical tags pointing to the first one (exampledomain.com), could this be harmful? Is it better to 301 redirect the other sites? Thanks

Difference between changing sitename.com and sitename.com/ info?
my crawl is showing duplicate content between my sitename.com and sitename.com/ i remember the beginner's guide referencing that these are separate websites - but how do you modify their title info on a wordpress.org blog, and what's the difference between getting to these two sites? also, are there any wordpress.org plugins to mass fix meta descriptions, and not founds, retroactively? i have all in one seo, but not sure how to apply the changes retroactively. a new crawl shows too many to fix manually (89+) missing metas, mostly due to multiple pages on categories, etc. and other time consuming, tedious generations.. any help appreciated, thanks

Same image file with different alt text?
I have an image that represents 'widgets'. The image works for more than one kind of widget. I have two pages, one optimized for 'blue widgets' and one optimized for 'red widgets'. I would like to use the same 'widgets' image on both pages but change the alt text to be 'blue widgets' or 'red widgets' depending on the page it is used on. Should I: (1) use the same image on different pages with different alt text. (2) duplicate the image file and have two copies 'red_widgets.jpg' and 'blue_widgets.jpg' and then use each copy on the page optimized for the corresponding phrase. (3) create distinct, unique image files (where the pixels are different, not just the file names) for each kind of widget. This is a simplified example of a larger SEO problem where I have 1 image that can be useful on 20 pages that are each optimized for 20 different phrases. Should I use the same image with 20 different alt tags, or create 20 identical (but renamed) copies of the image, or create 20 slightly different image files (with different pixels in each image)? Canonicalisation - different languages and channels
Hi If the same content is placed on different URL's for the purposes of providing information on different channels (i.e mobiles), or has been translated into a different language (but is still the same content), do the serach engines still count this as duplicate content and will a canonical URL have to be tagged in these instances?
