Conundrum with brand new website keywords...
-
I'm working with on a website for an app called BetterRX. There's a prescription card called BetterRX Card. Our domain is Better RX.com and the card is BetterRXCard.com. "Better RX" as a brand search is dominated by prescription discount cards, with Good RX being the most dominant. Any suggestions on how to go about mixing optimization for brand as well as the app?

Hey OP,
Please could you potentially reword your question to make it a bit simplier to answer?
You = BetterRX.com (an app)
Brand Competitor = BetterRxCard.com (Prescription card)Where does Good RX come into it, sorry?
Cheers,
Nick
P.S
Do BetterRX.com and BetterRXcard.com compete in the same industry? I think this is the case from Googling but just wanted to be sure!

New websites
Hi Moz community, My company updated and used a new developer to build and re-design their charity websites: www.runforcharity.com, www.cycleforcharity.com and www.sportforcharity.com. This sites were "re-launched" at the beggining of December 2015 and I have now been able to get a good 6 weeks worth of data. I've been religiously using Moz.com for a couple of years and I use it simply for SEO purposes. Our websites are built upon organic traffic being driven to them and I have noticed that the PA on the new sites has taken a hammering. Â They all appear to have a PA of 1 and I'm at a loss why? Â It appears that no page has h1 text? Would this be an issue with the developer or something the content team is doing wrong? Any help of advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks Ryan

Launching 20 new URLs to branch out from a multi brand website. How do I make sure the rankings stay?
I have a client with a multiple brand website currently. The site has landing pages and directories for each of its 20 brands under one URL. The plan is to build 20 separate brand websites with new domains and have the old content redirect to its corresponding new URL. The problem that I envision is being able to successfully carry all of the existing indexed content over while only using 301 redirects and submitting the new domains to Webmaster tools. Has anyone done this in the past successfully and do you have any recommendations?

Keyword Significance
I am seeing some very interesting changes in our non-branded keywords, and am curious to know how keyword significance in Google Webmaster Tools plays into ranking of a site. Â Say for example we are a photography website selling photography supplies. Â At one point our most significant word was Canon, but now it is photography. Â Would that mean that we would start seeing a lot of non-branded keywords generating from Google like "camera strap", "camera lens hood", etc. Â This is really good for us, but curious to know if the only reason we are seeing this is the shift in our keyword significance. Â Any insight? Â Thanks!
