Site visitors dropped off- have tried everything

Hello Moz team....I love the tools but I'm more of a content created for my web site than a developer. So I am super stuck with a major money losing problem. My traffic has nearly gone to zero and I have good content, regular content, no duplicate content, and so on. Can someone help....

Since January I have been fixing pages with missing meta data found in the crawl report
In December 2018 I switched over to HTTPS

I ran the Google Lighthouse report and scored 98 on seo. Other areas seem under 50 points but not by much. How can I share the report with you to see what your opinion is about the Google User experience rating.

You may have disavowed too many links. Your link profile has changed and Google may think that it's unnatural. Despite the fact that you've used their tool to do it. Check the balance between DF and NF links.
Also, check your user experience rating with Google Lighthouse. If you have a low score that might be the problem. The last 12th of March update addressed that quite aggressively. Also, if you use too many ads on your website make sure you remove some of them. The ad problem has been seen on many large websites.

Hopefully this is related to the problem.
As I hinted at above, if you still see lots of technical issues 100% give Site Bulb a whirl, it unearthed a whole host of potential issues for me...and that was without GSC or Sitemap integration!

Nick....very good answer and suggestions. I just disavowed the super spammy links and left the good ones based on the Moz report.
I'm hopeful this was part of the breaking news concerning a Google indexing problem...but if not I'm going to need help getting this fixed. I'm a one man company - without any tech help. Buuuu...why cant I just write content and generate leads...bummer.

All traffic dropped and this tanked lead generation. Hoping it was the Google indexing problem but I'm not sure and this is an expensive lesson. I need a roadmap....ha.
I launched the new site last year and this past December switched over to https.

Thanks for pointing this out and I'm not sure why it does this. This url strings are from an old version of the web site that was on a custom cms. If I find pages with /category/subcategory in my Moz 404 reports and redirect all of them properly will this go away?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your website, am I right in reading it is www.imodular.com?
I'm making a massive assumption here but perhaps you disavowed too many links?
Robots.txt for the aforementioned domain doesn't seem out of the ordinary. Forgive my ignorance but I wasn't even aware you could edit this using Blogger - That is your CMS right?
I've also just done a quick crawl of that site and can see a few on-page hygiene type stuff you might want to look at.
I'd be happy to export the report for you and email it to you but you would definitely derive more value by taking a free trial and exploring all of the hints!
Crawl stats wise I can see an abundance of 302 redirects and quite a lot of content 10 levels deep but it's ultimately meaningless without context behind the site which you have

P.S I have no affiliation with SiteBulb, I just think it's an awesome tool for getting a pretty comprehensive site audit for a very decent price. Moz Pro site explorer is also a great starting point which I also use but it's not quite as technical.

You're still showing 160-some pages in the index, so I don't think you've dropped out.
Are you seeing your lead conversions drop off in Analytics or in actual life? Like, were you receiving 10 calls per day and suddenly none? Or are you not hitting goals in GA? Did you see a slow decline, or did they all drop off at once?

The redirects are apparently set up properly. But there are about 60 pages pointing to 404 pages according to Moz. These are pages that came from two migrations of past .asp web sites so they have non optimized urls. I'm working through these to redirect them to proper pages.
I feel like there may be something really wrong that is obvious to a skilled seo tech person. Not a content and communications person like me....and my company is just me.

Question: did all your traffic drop or just your organic traffic? If it's all traffic I agree with Shanaki^ - guessing it's bad redirects. Or a misconfigured tracking code maybe?
If it's just organic then it could be something with the indexing. Did you launch a new site? Saw this same thing happen once and the site development team had forgotten to change the robots.txt file to allow crawling - they didn't want the site being indexed during development.

Syntax for canonical tag for a default page in a sub directory (not subdomain) of a web site?
I'm getting two "no canonical tag" errors for the default page of a sub-directory default page (www and root) - again NOT a subdomain. Since the page is not the root of its own site, I tagged it as -- I have tried without the default.asp, but the error remains. Been doing this for 24 years and don't remember running across this before.

Massive Drop in Rankings
Hello, My site (www.reynoldsdesignstudio.com) has recently dropped off the map (50+ places) for almost every phrase I was ranking between 3 and 6 on the first page. My main phrases on google were "web design rochester mn", "web development rochester mn" I have been setting up a new web server but have not pointed this domain at that server yet so it shouldn't be anything related there. I also have not updated the site in a couple years (I know that's bad), so it doesn't appear to be a hacking issue either. I was 'hacked' a few years back where I gained a TON of crappy links from China and what-not but it never appeared to affect anything. I'm not sure if that is what is causing the recent drop in rankings. If anyone has any ideas on what could have caused the issue that would be great. According to my GA traffic I had a spike earlier in the month and then it has steadily dropped off. This is consistent with my actual page rankings. Thanks OAsjcHw

Working with Open Site Explorer
Hi everyone, I'm new to keyword analysis, and am in the process of consuming a lot of SEOmoz articles and resources on the subject. I wanted to see if I'm correct in my analysis of two compared sites, and hope you can shed some light on the matter. I've been to the Google Keyword Tool and looked for my informational keywords for the project I'm working on, since the user intent is all about information. A not-so-great keyword phrase I've found with 12,100 local monthly searches is: "programa de inglês" (english programme) I'm just using this as a quick example. I have performed a Google search query for the above phrase from google.com.br (Brazil), and I'm comparing the #2 and #4 results from the 1st page of the SERPs which are: #2) www.programa-ingles.net and #4) http://www.baixaki.com.br/categorias/educacao-e-diversao.htm. What's confusing me is that in Open Site Explorer, the #4 result gets a much higher page authority compared to the #2 result, and beats #2 on every category except for internal–external link ratio and all the social categories. Here's an image attached of the comparison. Is it the fact that the external links of #2 account for 100% of the links pointing to it, or that the #2 position beats (rather pitifully) #5 on social sharing, or is it something that I've not stumbled across yet? What could cause your Domain Authority score to drop?
We have 3 websites that are on 3 different campaigns. Our flagship website is www.cannontrading.com. The Domain Authority score on it was 42. When I first (Mid November 2012) started, we had 295 keywords allocated for Cannontrading.com and 5 other keywords for allocated to our other websites... e-futures.com and e-mini.com. What I wanted to do was optimize the other two pages and I did this by taking taking 50 the keywords that were not ranked in the top 50 from Cannontrading.com and assigned them to the our other two sites. Could this have caused the drastic drop in the score? Our keyword rankings for the "Top 3" has dropped from 93 to 34 since November 2012. We did have a company that did article submissions for us up till October 2012. Could this have caused our drop in the Domain Authority Score and our Keyword Rankings? I didn't make any other changes to Cannon website beside taking away those keywords and given them to our other sites. Any suggestions or thoughts would really help me. Regards, David

Tool which shows site ranking for a given keyword
Hi all. I have a client with a specific request and wanted to ask if there is a reliable tool which allows a user to enter a given site and keyword, and it will return the site's ranking for that keyword. More specifically: Needs to work for Google, Yahoo and Bing Needs to work for various countries such as Google.ca, Google.it, etc. Needs to show at least the top ?10k rankings, not just the top 50 The last requirement is the challenge. I clearly recognize anything past the top 50 or so ranks is really off the map, but the client would like to view his current standings.
