Moz Reporting a brand page as KW stuffed for the the brand KW, not a problem i presume ?
-
Hi
if I'm getting a keyword stuffing warning on Moz for a brand page for the brand name kw that shouldn't really matter should it?
Moz just oversimplifying it since seen the brand name says 27 times on a page think it's stuffed, but if its a 2000 word page all about the brand, those occurrences are totally natural & hence Google will think so too generally speaking?
Thanks

Hi Dan!
Thanks so much for the question! The On Page Grader tool will look for a specific number of instances that a keyword is used- once that limit is reached, the flag for keyword stuffing will be triggered regardless of the total size of the document. I hope that helps to clarify how the tools works! If you have any other questions or need anything else, please feel free to email us at help@moz.com.

would love both your opinions on this one too if yo have a spare moment ?

cool thanks, yes its all natural, its a brand page on my ecommerce store for one of the vendors whose products i sell , so all natural

Google would be intelligent enough to think around that scenario, unless the brand term was not from a brand-aligned query-space
For example, if you're "Coca Cola", well you can tell from Google's results it's a brand query-space. Google knows that 'coca cola' is a brand and will act accordingly
If however, you're trying to cheat the system by 'warping' a well known keyword into your own brand-term (say your company is called "car insurance") - then Google may be far less forgiving

great thanks for confirming that Joram

You should indeed always judge the number of occurences in regards to the total number of word on the page. In this case this is only 1,4% which is absolutely normal.

Unsolved On page grader
All of my keywords score a 53 using the on page grader. When I look at the notes it indicates I don't have the keyword in question anywhere on the page which, while true in some cases, is not always factual. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Block Moz (or any other robot) from crawling pages with specific URLs
Hello! Moz reports that my site has around 380 duplicate page content. Most of them come from dynamic generated URLs that have some specific parameters. I have sorted this out for Google in webmaster tools (the new Google Search Console) by blocking the pages with these parameters. However, Moz is still reporting the same amount of duplicate content pages and, to stop it, I know I must use robots.txt. The trick is that, I don't want to block every page, but just the pages with specific parameters. I want to do this because among these 380 pages there are some other pages with no parameters (or different parameters) that I need to take care of. Basically, I need to clean this list to be able to use the feature properly in the future. I have read through Moz forums and found a few topics related to this, but there is no clear answer on how to block only pages with specific URLs. Therefore, I have done my research and come up with these lines for robots.txt: User-agent: dotbot
Moz Pro | | Blacktie
Disallow: /*numberOfStars=0 User-agent: rogerbot
Disallow: /*numberOfStars=0 My questions: 1. Are the above lines correct and would block Moz (dotbot and rogerbot) from crawling only pages that have numberOfStars=0 parameter in their URLs, leaving other pages intact? 2. Do I need to have an empty line between the two groups? (I mean between "Disallow: /*numberOfStars=0" and "User-agent: rogerbot")? (or does it even matter?) I think this would help many people as there is no clear answer on how to block crawling only pages with specific URLs. Moreover, this should be valid for any robot out there. Thank you for your help!0 -

Can you create sub-user accounts on Moz?... Ones which provide limited access to certain users like use of the tools or access to view rankings in a campaign without being able to edit anything??

SEO Moz Rank Report
Anyone else noticing the rank reporting seems to be off? My reports are showing "not in top 50" for some keywords that my site is on page one for. Not in places listings either because I know that can throw things off! Anyone?

On Page Grading Not Working
I am not getting any results in on page grading. When I click on add keywords a list of keywords appears that I have previously entered. They have tick boxes next to them and you can filter them but SEO moz is not automtically creating grade reports? Any ideas? Obviously I've set it up wrong somehow.

"Too many on-page links" warning on all of my Wordpress pages
Hey guys, I've got like 120 "Too many on-page links" warnings in my crawl diagnostics section. They're all the pages of my WordPress blog. Is this an acceptable and expected warning for Wordpress or does something need to be better optimized? Thanks.

Issue: Duplicate page title
Hello, I have run the "Crawl Diagnostics" report using SEOmoz pro and it says that I have a total of 56 errors. 18 of those errors being duplicate content and another 38 errors being duplicate title tags. Now I have looked at both reports and detail and the reason I am getting there errors is due to the fact the it is checking "http" and "https". So for example: my website is http://www.widgets.com On the crawl diagnostics report, it also checks https://www.widgets.com So it looks like I have duplicate content and duplicate title tags because of this Now my question is this: Is this really duplicate content? If so, how do I fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
