Moz crawling doesn't show all of my pages
-
Hello,
I'm trying to make an SEO on-pages audit of my website.
When using the SEO crawl, i see only one page while i have much more pages in this website (200+). Is it an issue with the sitemap ? The robot.txt ?
How can i check and correct this. My website is discoolver.com

Hi there,
Sam from Moz's Help Team here!
So, I took a look at your site, and unfortunately I believe this is a result of our crawler's inability to work with Javascript. Any client side loaded content will not be rendered to our crawler as we are only seeing what is rendered by your server.
Our crawler works by parsing the source code of your site, looking at HTML elements. If your site is primarily Javascript, then the data you get back with regards to the crawl report won't be completely accurate because of this. There's no real workaround that I can recommend for this one, since it is a technical limitation of our tools, but there are some good blog posts and discussions in the Q&A about this if you head over to our Help Hub.
While the tools and data that rely on our crawl of your site may not return the best results because of that Javascript, your keyword rankings and link profile should work just fine.
You might also want to check out a few tools that are compatible with Javascript, like Botify or Screaming Frog.
I'm really sorry I can't be of more help here; Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with, or if there are any follow-up questions you might have!

Thanks for the answers.
I believe the issue is about a rel=canonical from the homepage which links to an external website...
Can this tag prevent a good website crawl ?

So just looking it appears you don't have a robots.txt file or a sitemap. At least one that I could easily find.
This Moz post might help when creating one.

Moz bot transforms special characters into fake 404 Pages in Reports
I have a lot of 404 links in my exported Moz Pro reports which are not actually Not Found pages when checking the Referring URL. For example: Referring URL:
Link Explorer | | ProspectoGroup
https://ofertolino.ro/oferte/barn%C3%A4ngen 404:
https://ofertolino.ro/barn%C3%83%C2%A4ngen What happens is that the referring URL leads to a redirect (https://ofertolino.ro/barn%C3%A4ngen) but it never leads to the specified 404 Page (which has even a more weird symbol in the URL when it is url decoded) in the report. What could be the issue here and is the Moz bot responsible for such misbehaviour?0 -
MOZ doesn't work for .dating and .chat domain extensions
I have been a MOZ subscriber for a few years now. I don't think MOZ works for .dating and .chat domain extensions. I have 2 sites that have authority 1 despite back links. Here are the details: https://oooo.dating > DA = 1 https://talk.chat > DA = 1 oooo has 221 links (Google search console) talk has 1317 links (Google search console) May be a MOZ staff member can look into this. If you are customer and use some of the newer domain extensions please share your details if you have the same problem.

Duplicated content detected with MOZ crawl with canonical applied
Hi there! I have a slight problem.
Link Explorer | | Eurasmus.com
I have a site with Joomla 3.3 that we recently migrated from 2.5. Joomla, for some reason that I don´t really get, creates hundreds of weird urls for the site like
mydomain.com/en -> joomla creates en/home/149-xxx-xxx/xxxxxx-xxxxxx that links to the first one.
The new version 3.3 knows this bug and applies a rel=canonical to the ones created "artificially", so they should not be identified as duplicated. Sample piece of code: en/home/149-all-en/xxxxxxx-xxxxxx" rel="canonical" / MOZ crawler identifies this as duplicated and like this I have thousands of pages duplicated all with titles, content etc... all the ones created by joomla. Still my site has good SEO results and I can not see any penalties but I am a bit concerned they may come in the future.... Can anyone explain me what is happening? Thank you in advance for your time,0 -
Why doesn't my site show up in Moz Site Explorer
I started this website about 2 months ago, www.guyetteroofing.com. I know it still needs a lot of work, but I can't find any information on it on the site explorer tool.

How quickly does Domain Authority and Page Authority update
Hi, I think I read somewhere that domain authority and page authority are updated twice a month - is this true? The reason I ask is because I had a very successful content piece released last month (around 20th May) that received some great links (mainly to a landing page, but also many links to my home page) from highly respected sources such as Time.com, Spin.com, RollingStone.com, DailyMail.co.uk... However, my domain authority hasn't changed at all, and the page authority for the page is only 47, which I was hoping would be higher for a page that received millions of visitors, 100k+ Facebook likes, and a wealth of sites linking in. Also, in OpenSiteExplorer, when checking against my home page, it says there are no Just-Discovered links for the last 60 days - again, I'm puzzled, as my home page has been referenced by many leading news sites. Many thanks

Does the inbound links report include links to all pages of the domain being researched?
If I enter 'abc.com' am I only getting results for 'abc.com' or will I get results for the internal pages of 'abc.com' as well (i.e. 'abc.com/page1.html)? There is a bit of a discrepancy between these results and inbound link results in semrush for example. Then again it seems whenever you use different tools to measure the same thing you get wildly varying results. How do you all deal with that?

How Is a Page Crawled by Moz When Moz Says 'No Links'?
As above, really. I've crawled a new client's site to find the Moz crawler has identified a handful of 404 errors. The Moz crawler says these pages have '0 linking domains', and OSE has no data for these pages. So how are these pages being crawled by Moz and what should I advise my client?
