How should I implement FAQs?
-
My client is ranked #3 for their primary keyword and we want to add FAQs that are educational (ie, related to the technology, not specifically to the company’s products or how to work with the company). Should I add the FAQs to the existing ranking content page? Or to a new dedicated “keyword FAQs” page? I have a LOT, about 40 questions and 4000+words of answer content.
And two secondary questions:
- Many of the FAQs have expanded content on other pages throughout the site. Is it okay to link to that internal content?
- Is it okay to have multiple FAQ pages? So keyword1 FAQs, keyword2 FAQs...?
Thanks so much!

Hi Dana,
You can flag that comment, but I do not see that Moz is taking any actions against these accounts.

Can I notify someone of spam responses??

Hi Dana,
I do not think you can outrank Wikipedia. I would add the FAQs to existing pages.

Thanks Ross,
The internal linking would be within an answer and link to more detailed content on the topic. My goal is to get them to #1 or 2 for a relatively competitive keyword (damn Wikipedia is #1). Do you think it's better to add the FAQs to the existing ranking page? Or a separate page?
Thank you!

Hi there,
You can use an FAQ generator if you are not a technical person. However, I do not think that internal linking to other FAQs will work. Yes, just add FAQ Schema Mark up to your existing content and to your new content pages. It is ok to have many FAQs on your website.

For FAQ Schema markup, do we need to include every FAQ that is on the page in the markup, or can we use only selected FAQs?
The website FAQ page we are working on has more than 50 FAQs. FAQ Schema guidelines say the markup must be an exact match with the content. Does that mean all 50+ FAQs must be in the mark-up? Or does that mean the few FAQs we decided to put in the markup are an exact match?

Hi ! I have an english website targeting Asia market. Whats the proper way to implement the geo target /hreflang code that will target the entire ASIA region? I saw some suggestions to do this way (below sample) .. However, we know ASIA has a lot of countries. Is this the best practice for SEO? If this is, then do I really need to list down all the countries under Asia? Is there a better way to do this? KOREA -- :

Did We Implement Structured Data Correctly?
Our designer/developer recently implemented structured data on our pages. I'm trying to become more educated on how it works since I'm the SEO marketing specialist on the team and the one that writes and publishes the majority of our content. I'm aware it's extremely important and needs to be done, I just don't know how to do it yet. The developer was on our team for over a year, we recently let him go. Now, I'm going through all the pages to make sure it's done correctly. I'm using the structured data testing tool to look at the pages and have been playing with the structured data markup helper. I would REALLY appreciate it if one of my fellow MOZ fans & family can help me determine if it's done correctly. We do not currently have any schema plugs installed that I know of. So I'm not sure how he implemented the Schema code. I would like to know what I need to do moving forward to the additional content we publish as well as what to do to correctly implement Schema if not already. When I manually look at one of our FAQ pages I see multiple schema data formats detected... I'm not sure if we're supposed to have multiple or just one----> https://www.screencast.com/t/TjHphL7jsI I also noticed in the Question schema data for that same page... the accepted answer is empty. I would image that should have the short version of the answer to the question in it?--->https://www.screencast.com/t/e6ppXkhXd7QS Here's a screenshot of our structured data info from Google search console---> https://www.screencast.com/t/KHj4BGgdrZ4m HELP please! Rel="prev" and rel="next" implementation
Hi there since I've started using semoz I have a problem with duplicate content so I have implemented on all the pages with pagination rel="prev" and rel="next" in order to reduce the number of errors but i do something wrong and now I can't figure out what it is. the main page url is : alegesanatos.ro/ingrediente/ and for the other pages : alegesanatos.ro/ingrediente/p2/ - for page 2 alegesanatos.ro/ingrediente/p3/ - for page 3 and so on. We've implemented rel="prev" and rel="next" according to google webmaster guidelines without adding canonical tag or base link in the header section and we still get duplicate meta title error messages for this pages. Do you think there is a problem because we create another url for each page instead of adding parameters (?page=2 or ?page=3 ) to the main url alegesanatos.ro/ingrediente?page=2 thanks
