We respond to almost 100% of our quote requests, yet every quote email that comes in from Google shows a 27% response rate and it never changes. Has anyone else seen this or have any insight into it?

The response rate to quote requests on Google can vary for several reasons, including market saturation, seasonal fluctuations, request quality, geographic location, and changes over time. Optimizing the clarity and timing of your requests can improve karachi guest house your chances of receiving responses. It's essential to seek feedback and consult current sources for the most up-to-date information on response rates, as these factors may have evolved since my last knowledge update in September 2021.

Absolutely, the dynamics of response rates can be quite nuanced, much like the strategies in sports. Just as teams adapt their game plans, optimizing the clarity and timing of your quote requests is akin to refining your approach on the field.

@r1200gsa It's possible that the reported 27% response rate in Google's quote emails may not accurately reflect your actual response rate. Here are a few potential explanations and steps to address the issue:

              1. Technical Glitch:
There might be a technical glitch or misconfiguration causing the discrepancy. Check your email settings and integration with Google to ensure accurate tracking of responses.

              2. Delayed Tracking:
Response rates might not be updated in real-time. Allow some time for Google's system to update and reflect the correct response rate. If the issue persists over an extended period, consider contacting Google support for assistance.

              3. Verify Google My Business Settings:
Confirm that your Google My Business account settings are correctly configured to track and report response rates. Ensure that all necessary permissions are granted.

              4. Check Email Filtering:
Verify that your responses are not being filtered as spam or going to a different folder. This can affect the perceived response rate if Google is not accurately capturing your replies.

              5. Google Support:
Reach out to Google My Business support for direct assistance. They may be able to investigate the issue on their end and provide specific insights or solutions.

              6. Compare Data:
Cross-reference the response rates reported by Google with your internal records. If your records consistently show a 100% response rate, it reinforces the likelihood of a reporting issue on Google's end.

              7. Industry Benchmarks:
Understand that response rates can vary across industries. Compare your rates with industry benchmarks to see if the reported 27% is unusually low or within a typical range.

              8. Update Information:
Ensure that all business information, including contact details, is accurate on your Google My Business profile. Inaccurate information may affect the tracking of responses.

If the issue persists after checking these factors, contacting Google support directly would be the most effective way to address the specific problem with the reported response rates in your quote emails.

Automated Responses: Some businesses or services use automated responses to quote requests, which may not always reflect the actual response rate from real human representatives.
                    (PMP Exam Prep)
Delayed Responses: Businesses may take time to respond to quote requests, and the rate may not immediately reflect recent responses.

Steady Workflow: The response rate may stay consistent because the business has a steady workflow, and they are consistently responding to quote requests as they come in.
                    ( project management skills)
Incomplete Data: The rate you see might not account for all interactions or responses, leading to a seemingly constant response rate.

Algorithmic Display: Google might be displaying a rounded or averaged response rate, which can appear unchanging over time.

English pages given preference over local language

                            seo seo rankings rankings google

We recently launched a new design of our website and for SEO purposes we decided to have our website both in English and in Dutch. However, when I look at the rankings in MOZ for many of our keywords, it seems the English pages are being preferred over the Dutch ones. That never used to be the case when we had our website in the old design. It mainly is for pages that have an English keyword attached to them, but even then the Dutch page would just rank. I'm trying to figure out why English pages are being preferred now and whether that could actually damage our rankings, as search engines would prefer copy in the local language. An example is this page: https://www.bluebillywig.com/nl/html5-video-player/ for the keywords "HTML5 player" and "HTML5 video player".

Does Google consider breadcrumbs to be duplicate titles?

duplicate titles multiple titles breadcrumbs google moz

Moz has been flagging a lot of our articles for duplicate titles. I noticed that the website was automatically generating the same words that were used for the titles above the articles and main images. But those are bread crumbs. Does anyone know if Google also considers those duplicate titles? I'm not sure if the screenshot I'm uploading will appear, but this is one of the blog posts the extra wording was showing up on: https://hometowneautorepairandtireofwoodbridge.com/blog/when-why-replace-spark-plugs/

Verifying Google My Business After An Address Change

                            google my business local listings

                            Hello,
We are trying to verify our Google My Business listing, however, the current unverified listing is using an old address we no longer have access to. The only option for verification is through the mail. We tried requesting an edit but it didn’t go through. Would the best option be to create a new one and try to have the old (unverified) listing removed? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Google listing only appears when I move / zoom in or out of the map

Hi everyone, We are having an issue with this local business. The Google listing isn't immediately appearing on the map. You have to move the map or zoom in and out for the listing to appear. I find this really odd as our competitors - with no reviews and way further in proximity - are appearing with no issues. The listing is only about 4km where I'm doing the search, while competitors with no reviews are about 20km away. We are ranking in the top 5 organically for the search term I used (pool renovations brisbane), but nowhere in local unless the map is moved. When the listing appears, sometimes the pin also looks grey instead of red, while others are red (if that makes sense). On top of this, their organic rankings have also been on a downward trend since June. I'm currently doing a backlink audit to see if it's contributing to the issue. If anyone also has other ideas, could you please let me know? Thanks.

Disadvantages to Hiding Business Address on Google Places?

From a Local SEO standpoint, wouldn't hiding a business address on Google Places for Business create an SEO disadvantage in that I would expect in the local portion of the search results, there would be a bias to showing businesses that have not hidden their address as then you can place a pin on the map at the location?  Or from a Local SEO standpoint does it not matter if you hide your address or not?

Can I request removal of a duplicate competitor Google Business listing?

I have a local competitor that is boggling me with his local pack rankings. For certain keyword phrases, he is ranking in multiple local 3 pack spots. The thing is, he only has one business location. So basically he has two different Google maps listings for the same business location ranking in the local pack. The NAP information is different for both listings except for the physical address. I can't understand for the life of me how this is actually helping him instead of hurting him.... My client has way more citations. A decent blog with solid content. An SEO optimized mobile website (compeititor website is not mobile ready). Etc..... Don't get me wrong, my client is doing really well and is ranking top 3 in his area for nearly 30 industry related keyword phrases. I guess that is part of the reason I'm so boggled. Can anyone provide any insight? Can I bring this up to Google and have them remove the duplicate listing somehow? I'm literally sitting #4 in the local pack for some valuable keywords, and the only reason I'm not #3 or higher is because the same physical business location is taking up two of the spots. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
