Facebook Pixel Integration

Howdy Moz Fans,
When using a Facebook Pixel Integration plugin it sticks a small pixel on all your pages.
Who votes that you should "no follow" this link? Interested to hear opinions on this.
Example destination it sticks on the page is
Not a major issue, but it does flag up about 3000 times on Screaming Frog as it doesnt have a image alt....

NigelHi Nigel,
Thanks for the clarification! It's reassuring to know that the Facebook Pixel, being embedded in Javascript for image loading, has minimal impact on SEO. Your advice to overlook it unless it causes slow loading aligns with a practical approach. It's indeed wise not to tinker with it for nofollow attempts. Your insights provide a clear perspective, and I appreciate your guidance on handling the Facebook Pixel with a focus on site performance. https://www.pixelscalculator.com/dpi-calculator/

Integrating the Facebook Pixel is like adding a finely tuned compass to your digital strategy. It transforms scattered data into a navigable map, offering insights that guide your online journey. This integration doesn't just track; it illuminates user pathways, enabling businesses to tailor experiences. However, in this data-driven adventure, let's not forget the ethical checkpoint – seek user consent before activating the Pixel. It's the compass of personalization, and with respect for privacy, it ensures that every step is a mutual venture between businesses and their online explorers.

Integrating the Facebook Pixel into your website is a powerful strategy for enhancing your digital marketing efforts.

The Facebook Pixel allows you to track user interactions, measure the effectiveness of your ads, and optimize your targeting for better results. To integrate the pixel, follow Facebook's step-by-step instructions provided in the Events Manager. This process involves placing a small piece of code on your website, enabling you to gather valuable data on user behavior. With this data, you can refine your advertising strategies, improve ad targeting, and ultimately boost the overall performance of your Facebook ad campaigns. -

Should I noindex pages on my website that are pulled from an API integration
SEO/Moz newbie here! My organisation's website (dyob.com.au), uses an API integration to pull through listings that are shown in the site search. There is a high volume of these, all of which only contain a title, image and contact information for the business. I can see these pages coming up on my Moz accounts with issues such as duplicate content (even if they are different) or no description. We don't have the capacity to fill these pages with content. Here's an example: https://www.dyob.com.au/products/nice-buns-by-yomg I am looking for a recommendation on how to treat these pages. Are they likely to be hurting the sites SEO? We do rank for some of these pages. Should they be noindex pages? TIA!

Authorship integration
Hi Do you need or is it preferred to have an author page on your website to best integrate and take advantage of authorship integration ? I'm looking at Google+ instructions for setting up and doesn't mention it - saying all you need to do is as they instruct However even if they dont require it to integrate is it still better to have one for better author signals ? Also if you dont have a blog on your site (say you have a news page instead) can you still have an author page or does author page have to be the following format blog/author/name ? Cheers Dan

Facebook likes for a blog - are posts or root domain more important?
I've just added the facebook plugin for my wordpress blog. I've activated the like buttons on each post and I share the posts on facebook - so when someone likes it on facebook, it reflects on the blog post. In my blog sidebar I've added the Like widget. I can either put the URL for it as my blog root domain (not many likes yet) or my facebook page (lots of likes, so more impressive) I've been hearing about Likes etc counting towards SEO, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me whether developing Likes for my blog root domain will have any significant benefit over the Likes I am getting for the individual posts?

.htaccess when integrating one website into another
My client would like to integrate one of it's smaller websites into its main website. I've identified around 20 pages which I'd like to 301 redirect to specific pages on the main website, and this is simple enough. The problem I have is that I am not sure how I can then put a catch-all to redirect all other pages on the site to the homepage of the main website. I'd originally though something like this would work: redirect 301 / http://www.mainwebsite.com/ (catch-all)
Technical SEO | | AndrewAkesson
redirect 301 /about.asp http://www.mainwebsite.com/about (specific redirect 1)
redirect 301 /latest.asp http://www.mainwebsite.com/news (specific redirect 1)
etc. Any ideas?0 -
Lost FaceBook Shares with URL change
I recently changed the URL of a page and used a 301 redirect from old to new. I just realized I lost all my Facebook shares. Now it shows 0 on that page. What can I do to get back my count of shares? I cannot find any information.
