PinPioneer & TumbleForce good or bad?
-
Hello,
Surfing on a black hat forum I found a link to this software:
PinPioneer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1_V38W2ElPE
&
TumbleForce: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EdGT2UNZNkU
As I saw on the videos the features are great, but I don´t know if automated link building is a good idea, I would like to know your opinion, would you use this software to generate backlinks faster though Pinterest and Tumblr?
Is it a good idea to use this kind of software or should I keep my hands off this?
Cheers
Arnold

I hear you. There are some decent tools out there but for the most part, spending your time on the tried and true ones tends to be the best use of your time and your client's money. Short cuts are paying off less and less.

Hello Chris,
I think It´s always good to stay informed about white & black hat techniques... mea culpa, as soon as I saw the videos I had a negative and a positive feeling about this, I think it depends on how you use it, but definitely it can be used to SPAM and without the knowledge to ruin your website, I just wan´t to hear people opinions on this matter, maybe someone is using this or similar software and have something to say about it.
Thanks!

Hey Arnold,
A couple of things stand out regarding your question, specifically, "automated link building" and "surfing a black hat forum". A question pertaining to the validity of either is almost always answered in the negative--mainly because if you're not knowledgeable enough not to have to ask the question, you're best staying away. As far as those specific pieces of software--never heard of them and if there is any value in them, it's likely to be short term and likely to backfire on you in the future (if you have future plans for your site.

Facebook Business Manager - Assigning Roles & Billing
In the past, we assigned roles and managed business Facebook pages by sharing admin access with an individual account. However, we encountered an issue with this, as when it came to advertising, billing was processed under that individual account and not the account of the actual business Facebook page. To resolve this, I have begun setting up a Business Facebook Manager account. However, need some guidance. I have claimed access to a business Facebook page and assigned a person to manage this page. By doing this, I can now see that the assigned person has the ability to make posts on that page and to create and manage Ads. Two things I need clarification on however: When advertising is conducted, is it billed to the credit card details for the Business Page? (And not the billing details of the individual it was assigned to) It seems that the assigned person cannot boost a post? Am I missing something here? Thanks for your help!

Twitter Analytics: Follower Count & Reporting Inconsistencies
Our number of followers on Twitter has suddenly dropped (yet not dropped) in a really weird way. Twitter Analytics shows follower counts in two places: Monthly increases in followers, and then also in the Audience Insights tab, where you can see three months of follower counts mapped in a chart. Month-to-month, the total number of followers continues to rise. What’s inconsistent, however, is the total number of aggregate followers shown in the cart. Twitter just dropped our to total count of followers by about 600. But it’s not like we just suddenly lost 600 followers last month (in fact we gained far more than that), but rather that Twitter seems to have adjusted the aggregate numbers across the board retroactively for all months. So while month-to-month continues to show gains, overall, we still went down. The only way we would have even noticed this, by the way, is because we have a record of the OLD total follower count that Twitter had previously displayed as recently as last month. So confusing. We’re trying to figure out what happened, and the only thing that seems to make sense is that Twitter may have done a huge spam account purge, and instead of making it look like we suddenly lost a lot of followers, they just updated the aggregate total # of followers across all time……? [For the record, we do not buy followers, but we don’t always do the best job at blocking spam followers when the do follow us either.] Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. 🙂

Hi Folks It's been made very clear to us that Google is paying attention to social signals. My questions are: How would I check that Google is aware of my Facebook activity and similarly of my Twitter and Pinterest work? If Google is not aware of these what are some steps I can take to inform them that a particular account is related to a my business site? Finally any must read articles on this topic would be appreciated. Thank you for your time to help me out

Scribit - A good deal?
Hi there! There's a new platform on the web which says that it can crawl on the web to get the best content around social media and blogs in order to allow the developer of website "x" to public this content on their websites (with all rights reserved - that make me believe that it generates automatically rel="cannonical" tags). http://techcrunch.com/2012/04/18/scribit-launch/ http://www.scribit.com/ I aways heard that all kind of automatic content applications suck, and my fist impression about this one was the same. But my business partner found it really interesting, mostly because we have a small team to generate constant great content. So I said to him that automatically generated content commonly suck in any case, and google sometime will find that our blog has 1kk rel="canonnical" tags for every post and they might find it suspect. Anyway he asked me to research more about this specific platform and I wanna know what you guys think about it. Forget speech errors. English is not my native language. Regards.

Increasding the number of Tweets & FB Shares
Just asking for advice / strategy on increasing the number of tweets & Facebook shares to a particular domain. We're seriously lacking in this department and I'm not exactly sure how to get started as we're a B2B services company. We're languishing on page 2 of Google where all the other stats look good enough for us to be in the top 5, tweets and FB shares are 1 and 1 respectively. Any advice gratefully received - we also have a small budget set aside for an expert to provide a ranking strategy if anyone's interested. Many thanks in advance, Tony.

I am looking for a reputable Q&A forum vendor. Any suggestions?
A vendor who has high domain authority; with a platform that is social media integrated, can provide a backup database, has advanced navigation options, is designed to be SEO savvy among other things... And basically anything that I can make look similar to the SEOmoz Forum!
